Beware of the front desk new receptionist HOLLY - she told the dentist I am always a dread to get a call from. Just a couple of months ago I took the office an edible arrangement for being an awesome team and now it turns out I'm a DREAD. I have always spoken to Jamie and Cristina at the front desk and this new lady thinks very highly of herself. I told the doctor if he had ever gotten a complain from anyone else and he said I was rude. I told him it was just the lady with the hair done and long lashes and he said it was "F****d up" IN THOSE words that I was "making fun of someone's appearance " I told him on the contrary- I'm telling him she clearly focuses too much on her appearance than customer service and he walked off. I agreed to never call to schedule anything anymore and asked Jamie to please just call or email. The doctor also told me they are bending over backwards for me, and that they are not charging me. I've paid over 10k in treatment at this office. He claims that my first Invisalign treatment failed because I stopped coming to the visits? Then I'm really confused who did my root canals and multiple crowns and fillings throughout this whole time. As a domestic abuse survivor, getting yelled at by a man is a huge trigger because my body absolutely feels like I'm going to get striked across the face next. I left with my hands shaking and apologized to Jamie and Talicia who is my Invisalign specialist. I was given my next 3 trays and feel so sad the doctor decided to use cursing to express his viewpoint to me this morning while in a chair and the door was closed. Could have definitely handled better but I am just such a dread as a person and a patient. read more

I have been going to what is now Smile Fort Worth since 1983 and have always loved it. Yes, that's almost 40 years! I have used them for my three children that are now grown and have recommended them to many people. The insurance that I have had since forever is no longer good enough for Smile Fort Worth. I was told by one of the dentists that their services were worth more than they were being paid. So, they dropped the Cigna network (that tons of folks at Lockheed have) and a cleaning will now cost me $174 out-of-pocket. I hope that their valuable services are rewarded elsewhere because they won't be by me anymore. read more

I have been a patient since the start when there was only Dr Batton and while the faces have changed the service remains top notch. From the hygienist , receptionist and of course the dentist. You cannot go wrong with either doctor. They are superb after all they were trained by one of the best! I drive an hour to get to them and my granddaughter is also one of their patients. I've been a client at this office for over 15 years. After Dr. Batton retired it seems the office staff went down hill. I moved away for a few years and when I returned the customer service and dedication was GONE. They lost my insurance info TWICE. I provided my insurance 3 times... on the 3rd time I was quite upset. I emailed them because they were requesting "new patient information" and as an existing patient it is very upsetting to be badgered for things you've already provided. Especially when I was just there last week on 10/15/2020. I was put in touch with Terri Gonzales the "Hygiene Coordinator" she is a nasty human who doesn't belong in an office setting. When She called me instead of emailing me back she was snarky, rude, and downright hateful when defending the fact that they weren't hitting SAVE on their computer when it came down to saving my insurance info... addresses... just basic information that should be so easy to save along with not keeping my file maintained! I asked for an explanation as to why I was having to fill out all this paperwork. When I had enough of being interrupted on the call and being belittled through sarcasm and rude comments I told her she wasn't going to be snarky with me and that she needed to listen. She then made the comment that I might need to find a different dental office. Fast forward to this morning... I had an 8am appointment but my daughters teacher passed away and she is incredibly upset. TERRI calls and I obviously missed the call because I'm dealing with an upset child and phone calls/emails from the school. TERRI threatens me with a $50 fee and tells me the doctor had set aside time with me to discuss how I'm not a good fit for the office and that they are sending me a certified letter saying they won't be seeing me anymore. So basically I'm going to drive up there.. wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes due to covid requirements and then be invited in so that you can tell me I'm fired as a patient for getting upset that you're not doing your job? Riiiiiiight LOL. Whatever girl. You're pathetic beyond belief. Let me be the first to say that I do not need a certified letter to tell me not to return. After the past two weeks you could not pay me to return to this office. Terri you are a garbage human and I really hope to God no one treats you the way you treat me or another clients you've not gotten along with. It takes all kinds of kinds. If Dr. Harlin reads this please know that I genuinely like you as a dentist but you've got some major issues in your office. Talk to your patients before picking a side because I can promise you the people you employ will make or break your office. END RESULT: I'm Pissed. I will never return to this dental office and my days of speaking so highly of this office are DONE. read more

My wife is too sweet and soft-spoken to leave a review like this, but it needs to be done. I have never seen a dentist's office try so hard to take advantage of someone in my life. After the ridiculous estimate we got from Smile, approximately 14 procedures for about $7,000, 2 ofwof which were allegedly urgent, for $1,700, we decided that COULDN'T be right. Her teeth aren't unhealthy at all. So we cancelled the follow-up appointment, which cost us $50 to cancel, and instead made an appointment at the recommendation of a friend of ours with her dentist at Monarch Dental. She's just finishing up her appointment now. Dr. says, "your teeth look great. Your x-rays look fine. There's no immediate work that we need to do. Brush, floss, and avoid sugar. Regular stuff. You have one little brown spot that we can fix for you if you'd like us to but it's cosmetic, not serious. We can drill it if you'd like." He stopped short of calling them crooks, but I won't. Smile dentistry is a bunch of crooks. AFTER we cancelled the appointment, they sent us a CERTIFIED letter to say her teeth were in bad shape and "not being able to come to an agreement on treatment" is her liability not theirs. I can't stand the thought of how many people like my wife these folks have swindled into emptying their bank accounts. Any place that starts out by giving you a bag of swag with a water tumbler and other such merch with their logo on it is pretty suspect in my book, to begin with...but these hustlers take it to a whole new level. Amazing service! I found this place online and after reading a few reviews decided to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was very courteous and my wait time very reasonable. The staff is super friendly. The doctor very formal, professional and answered all my questions.
