This review is a long time coming. I started the process of laser hair removal for my bikini region and armpits at Ideal Image after their salesperson sold me that the reason for the higher cost at Ideal Image compared to another facility is because as their services are provided by highly- trained nurses. Initially, everything was going well with my treatments. But midway through I started to get discoloration/hypopigmentation on my armpits. I asked if this was normal and if it would go away. I was told it was and many more treatments were done. I waited many months after I finished my laser hair removal to allow the discoloration to go away. It never has, nearly a year and a half later. Once I contacted Ideal Image again to let them know, I was told to go to a dermatologist who diagnosed me with Vitiligo. Essentially the laser hair removal triggered an autoimmune response in my body which caused a permanent change in my skin. My problem is the contract never stated medical conditions like this could be triggered by the laser treatment. Also, I know nurses can't make diagnoses. But they could have at least stopped my treatment and advised me to see a dermatologist instead of continuing with further laser hair removal treatments that may have perpetuated my issue. Why did I pay a higher cost for "skilled nurses" like the salesperson told me if they aren't trained to recognize if something is wrong? I spoke with the manager at the facility who I don't feel provided me with an adequate reparation to permanent damage in my body ($100 "refund"). I tried many times to contact higher up supervisors with no one returning my calls/emails. As of right now, the legal team at Ideal Image has not provided me yet with a solution to this issue. I trusted Ideal Image as a reputable institution and I no longer would recommend someone else trust them. Since I wasn't informed prior to treatment that this was a risk, I feel like there was a violation to my body. I scheduled 2 more appointments before I left for the remaining appts in my package. I received a phone message from Mel a few days prior to the appointment cancelling it because the nurse who was supposed to do the service was no longer employed at Ideal Image. I have called and left at least 4 messages for someone to call me to reschedule. They have no receptionist and nobody returns the call. I am very disappointed because I had prepaid for these services. Now I feel like I need to drive over there and see what's what. I just started doing laser hair removal with Ideal Image and am already really happy just a few weeks after one session. I felt really understood as I was describing my desire for the hair to be removed on the phone and they helped connect me easily with a payment plan that worked for me. I showed up and had not done the proper preparation prior to my appointment of shaving and not only was I not made to feel bad about it, the nurse performing the treatment actually helped me with it. I was offered and lot of pain management options and given information regarding what to expect as well, which was really helpful. The nurse really listened to me as well and made me feel comfortable when she knew the treatment was painful. They checked in as well to make sure I felt good after my treatment was over. Since my last treatment, I have seen excellent results with very limited growth on my pubic area and only in certain spots, so they treatment is working well. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I went to a different location for hair removal services originally 8+ years ago and came to this location for some touch ups. This facility was very nice and clean. Scheduling was easy. The staff was super nice. I think Maya is the name of the tech I worked with and she was great to answer questions for me before and after since I didn't remember stuff from the last touch up (4 years ago). She was also great about checking to make sure I was tolerating the procedure as we went. I'm still very satisfied with the decision to use them for hair removal and they were up-front with me initially that I would likely need touch-ups down the road. Very much worth it. read more

The first time at this location, the newer technician didn't assess my facial hair beforehand, and she moved the laser extremely quickly from spot to spot. It was a very painful treatment. Now, I have burns on my face. There are more smaller burns on the side of my face from what I believe the hair being to long and her not shaving it down a bit like prior technicians. read more

I'm so extremely disappointed in Ideal Image. I paid an absolute fortune to be a lifetime member so I could continue to receive touch ups on my face for laser treatments and not only were they charging for each pulse so it would be around $80-90 each visit after paying all the money to be lifetime now they have switched to charging lifetime members $99 for each section of the face. That is absolutely absurd and very bad business. Lastly I had 2 treatments recently and only had a week of no hair and now it's all back and worse than it was prior to going in. It is incredibly difficult to schedule appointments. I have had multiple sessions rescheduled within 24 hours of my appointment due to sudden unavailable staff members. Originally I was really happy but I never was able to book my $250 free Lifetime membership Service that I'm supposed to get once a year.. On the phone they told me I had to book it when I was at the clinic and I had until November. When I was at the clinic they said I was outside of my One year although I was still under the Special membership pricing until November. I could sign up again and pay another $250 lifetime membership for my free once a year treatment. Whatever....then that treatment is $250 And it's not a lifetime membership by any stretch of the imagination. They didn't tell me when I signed up that I had to pay it every year. I've had a BBL and UL therapy package package and went in again for red vessels on my face. It literally lasted a week. I did follow all the protocol. No drinking no exercise. I'm obviously prone to it But I'm definitely going to try somewhere else. I had my hands done and now they're all blotchy. White spots spots. I had a good experience at the Brookfield Ideal Image location. I had 2 cycles of Cool sculpting with Liz. Results in the 1st 3 months were so good I got another 2 cycles of cool sculpting with Heather. My results were outstanding! Over 6 months I went from 183 pounds down to 151! The staff was professional and valued my time. I was sharing my results with Josie over the months. My start pictures and finish pictures 6 months later are dramatic. So disappointed in myself for going to this place. I heard such negative things. Dummy me thought I would give it a try and I was getting a good deal on BBLs. The sales person assured me great results. That was far from the case. I was told they would give me some money back But that was not the case either. Really unhappy with this location. After I paid big bucks, it took forever to get me in for a treatment. During the first treatment the machine failed 2 times. I told the nurse something was hot and burning and she repostioned it and blew me off. The 2nd time, she told me the machine failed and I would have to come back. When I came back the machine worked for one treatment and failed again with deep burning pain. I was able to schedule a few weeks later and was treated. Overall, the 2 nurses were not very friendly. I am a RN so I know what that should like like. The treatment on one leg show small results: the band was so tight it was painful. The other leg showed no result: it was placed loosely. When I went in today, they said they had left me a message that the nurse was not working and I needed. to reschedule. This was set up a month ago...really sad. I was bit disappointed, no certifications could be found --staff was friendly but RN was not. Once the contract was signed, no more smiles. It does hurt and is irritating as hell, feels like getting stung stuck by three-four hornet at same time and the tech RN I had tried to rush thru regardless of my obvious pain/discomfort (only a few months training maybe). She seemed oblivious as to how to soothe the discomfort a bit ie: cooling towel, switching areas, talking, or etc. Then I was told I could buy a "numbing cream" for $40.00. Set up consultation appointment and confirmed appointment. Arrived as instructed 10min early. Was asked my name several times & then asked to sit down. Poor customer service!!!! Before covid happened I decided I wanted to get laser hair removal. I didn't plan on getting as many areas as I ended up with being treated but of course the packages are a better price. I had one treatment before the shutdown. Obviously I know this was out of their control. Once they opened back up I went in for my second treatment before my wedding. I then got pregnant shortly after I got married. I had to put treatments on hold once again. No one informed me that my membership was on pause for only a year. Not knowing I was wasting time on my membership, I did not go back and get treated right after my daughter for obvious reasons. Once my body was ready, I started getting treated again. Everything was going fine until I got pregnant again. This is where I learned my membership was on hold for a year. I ended up miscarrying so wanted to get back to treatment. It was at this time I was told my membership has ran out. No one ever informed me that I had X amount of time left or treatments. My areas are NOT done being treated and I'm very upset because I've spent thousands to get my hair removed. They comped me a touch up and said they would review my case to see if I could be treated further. No one called me or kept me in the loop. It took multiple phone calls, being hung up on, and messages left not returned. So from my calling, I just found out any further services I would have to pay extra. I've been going to Ideal Image for about a year now. I have received several different treatments such as Botox, Kybella, and BBL. I was very nervous to begin my treatments but the staff there made me feel so comfortable and they were very understanding of my fears. Jess took so much time to explain the benefits of the treatments to me and any possible side effects. She has had many of the treatments herself which I appreciated as it put me more at ease when she explained the process and the results. Jess showed so much patience and compassion towards me that I've now gone back for several other treatments because of her. I had lip injections which I can't rave enough about. I'm constantly receiving great compliments and that's all thanks to the nurse, Joleen. I've had Botox and I feel like I look 10 years younger now. Joleen explained everything she was doing before any treatments and went over the treatment areas with me and consulted with me first so she could be certain to meet my expectations. I can say that because of Jess and Joleen my expectations have been exceeded. I am currently doing BBL treatments to help with aging I've done to my skin from years of being in the sun. Three treatments in and I no longer see any sun/age spots, I had broken blood vessels along the side of my nose which I was extremely self conscious about and with the BBL treatments they are vanishing away. I have just one small one left but it's significantly reduced in size and after my other two treatments left I fully trust it will be completely gone. My skin looks more youthful and bright. I get asked all the time what makeup I use because my skin looks so great. The best part is when I'm asked this I'm not even wearing any makeup. I can't wait for my next appointment with Ideal Image in Brookfield and Jess and Joleen have truly become my image consultants and thanks to them I feel brand new. read more

The price I was quoted was a little above what I had expected to pay....when I told the consultant I needed to think it over for a couple days she informed me that that price was ONLY if I paid for it THAT DAY......um ya, I don't respond well to that "sales tactic" as I find it to be a sign of a super shady business practice. I wanted to get fillers to lift area around my mouth and chin but they talked me into Volumina instead - injections into the check bone area saying that it will lift my mouth area. After being bruised on both checks where people asked me what happened to me, I did not notice any difference in my face lines at all. I don't feel it was worth $1200. I had many treatments at this place before moving to Minnesota. I bought a package for my underarms years ago, maybe 3. I have dark hair and light skin and was supposed to have great results. After every treatment I lost all the hair, it was great. But it always came back. I still have significant amounts of hair (less dense overall), so much that I need to shave every day and there are no hair-free areas. I was initially told that I would not have to pay extra, and was guaranteed at least 90% removal for life. Now that person that said that info apparently doesn't work there. Now they tell me I need to be reassessed every visit (which means growing out at least 1 weeks worth of hair), and I have to pay every single visit. The cost would be at least $40 per session, plus $1 per pulse. What BS. They need to spend less on their stupid advertising all over (I hear the same stupid ads in Minnesota), and more providing some decent service. read more
