Another Win at Ideal Image Midtown This is my second visit to Ideal Image Midtown. The first time was for Botox (which, by the way, still has me looking great over a month later). This time, I took a more adventurous route with laser hair removal. I decided to target some stubborn neck areas that itch terribly when I grow out my beard, and the back of my neck which always ends up making my haircuts look messy within a week. At first, I wasn't sure if I needed something as permanent as laser, but the constant annoyance made me think--why not? It's permanent, and this is a reputable place. This visit mirrored my previous experience: smooth, friendly, and professional. Although D wasn't there, I was warmly greeted by Gabby and Raluca, the Manager. Check-in was fast and I was offered water, coffee, and a bathroom break right away. I went with coffee (and as a Miami local--I approve). Melissa performed the laser treatment, assisted by Marissa. The room was clean and comfortable, and we got right down to business. They gave me laser-protective glasses that honestly made me feel like X-mens Cyclops. They warned me it might hurt--and I'm glad they did! I didn't expect it to sting, but hey, it is a laser. I opted out of the numbing cream, so shoutout to both Melissa and Marissa for being patient, reminding me to breathe, and making it a surprisingly quick and efficient experience despite my need for occasional breaks. After the treatment, they applied cold aloe which felt amazing. There was some redness --nothing dramatic to the naked eye. The whole thing took under 30 minutes. Honestly, you could come in for laser and Botox on your lunch break and be back in time. Highly recommend Ideal Image Midtown. I walked by, I was curious so gave them a quick call to asked about prices. Something easy, quick and simple; well... no not that simple, talking to the receptionist will take you 10 to 15 min, they won't answer your questions or listen to you, they will give you a bunch of information you didn't asked for. Then you will get transferred to the Dr, who will expect you to have 30min for a zoom conversation. (Just to give me Ultherapy price for the face). I told her right know I didn't have the time, that I had the treatment done before so I just wanted to know their prices, average price. She said no that is not how it works. So after wasting 20 min I couldn't get a price lol, definitely not going to try this place out. read more

Can I give this location zero stars? I went into this location recently for Botox in a small area. From the moment I walked I called to make this appointment I should have known, this wouldn't go well. I should have listened to my gut. I was greeted by a SUPER rude Russian woman by the name of Gabby she called herself, nasty , rough and just so unbelievably unprofessional, in Eastern European fashion. Then for my appointment I waited for over 20minutes for anyone to even come for me. Then an injector came for me, don't remember her name she was somewhat underwhelming, not personable at all. When it came time for the procedure they were SUPER in a rush and also seemed really concerned about payment. It's like don't worry no one will walk out on a bill here, so weird and just overall the worst experience and energy of this place. Seems like they have had other patients walk out and not paying or something. LOL like I make more in a month than what these people make in a year. There's no need for the desperate and aggressive behavior. Stay away! read more

These treatments are painful. I've had other types of laser treatments done in the past and weren't as painful as this one. One of the ladies who took care of me once, didn't even acknowledge my request to stop for a break because of the pain I was experiencing while getting my laser done. She just kept doing it in a rush, like she just wanted to get it over with. I don't believe I was evaluated correctly prior to starting the treatment since I have darker skin. They just wanted to close the contract and get the money. Additionally, my nearest location was closed a few months into treatment, so I was left with no other choice than to drive farther away for my appointments which usually had to be in the afternoon due to work/school. Availability of afternoon appointments were very limited. One year after closing, I wasn't done with my treatment but was told that the contract had already expired. I advise future users to seek alternative places. Ideal Image just wants your money and has no interest in your wellbeing. read more

Beware of Ideal Image and this location! I was severely burned at my first laser hair removal session. When I tried to call to get my money back and cancel the services they never responded to my calls. The contract protects them from burning their clients and getting away with it! Save yourself thousands of dollars and pain. I was in so much pain I had to go to urgent care. I am stuck with a $4500 bill for services I refuse to use. read more

Midtown Ideal Image has VERY convenient parking, steps away from lots of restaurants to stop by after treatment! Every staff member was friendly. Raluca was absolutely a DREAM to talk to and I felt comfortable right away! All the nurses that I met are the sweetest. They are offering treatments that REALLY work. Scammers. Straight up thieves. I told the lady on the phone that I only use 0.2 of filler for a correction and she tells me I will certainly need a full syringe and to buy the full syringe not telling me they won't keep the balance of fillers for further uses so I either have to use it all one shot or they "throw it out''.. which obviously I didn't use even half of. Had I known, I simply would've went to another clinic and buy a half one. They make you pay ahead of time, as if you're supposed to know how much you will use.. I told them I think it's about 56 units of botox.. turns out she used 40. I explained to the nurse that I live in another country and I'm getting IVF shortly so I can't bank the 16 units left and come later, I'll be back home and they don't have clinics where I live and the nurse says no problem they will re-imburse you at the front or you can come back for touch ups in two weeks (2 weeks later I didn't feel like I needed touch ups so asked to be re-imburssed). But turns out they won't reimburse me. Basically I paid more there than I would've paid anywhere in the world, they stole from, lied to and scammed me. These company politics should be illegal, it's a disgrace. That being said the nurses I dealt with (injections and BBL) were all exceptionally nice and very competent. read more

I am currently doing laser for my upper legs in this place, I don't have that much hair, well now for that I am currently paying $2300 I already paid half of the treatment I am leaving the state, and not longer working and I had only 3 sessions. Trying to explain all this to them but they don't want to do anything for me just ignoring me, I'm not asking for anything just explaining that I'm not going to be able to continuing with the treatment and payments. The front desk was super rude about it. also she made a treat with lawyers and all that. With $1650 and no more than 5 min in-person conversation at the Midtown location, their own tech told me the service I paid for was not what I needed. I was assured on site that a refund was possible. Whether you take the services or not, they have a NO REFUND policy. Do not purchase the services from the over the phone sales team. I was transferred over here from another location when I moved. I have a package of 9 laser hair removal session at $7,000. Thats right. Seven thousand. During a session at this location, the technician mentions to me that the location I transferred from is a franchise, and theyre corporate which may have different rules, so I should check with front desk and make sure theres no expiration date on my package. This was news to me, but okay. I ask front desk, they check my file and assure theres no expiration. When I call back later to schedule another session (I have 3 left at this point) they tell me I cant because my package expired..... after they told me there was none. Apparently they have decided not to honor the amount of sessions I've purchased, even after I CONFIRMED this with them the same day I was in office receiving treatment, and say I can only get further treatment by paying the "lifetime" fee or whichever. Had they told me there was an expiration date I would have ensured I scheduled all my sessions within the time frame, but they did not, and refuse to honor what I paid for. Thanks. read more
