Another Win at Ideal Image Midtown…read more This is my second visit to Ideal Image Midtown. The first time was for Botox (which, by the way, still has me looking great over a month later). This time, I took a more adventurous route with laser hair removal. I decided to target some stubborn neck areas that itch terribly when I grow out my beard, and the back of my neck which always ends up making my haircuts look messy within a week. At first, I wasn't sure if I needed something as permanent as laser, but the constant annoyance made me think--why not? It's permanent, and this is a reputable place. This visit mirrored my previous experience: smooth, friendly, and professional. Although D wasn't there, I was warmly greeted by Gabby and Raluca, the Manager. Check-in was fast and I was offered water, coffee, and a bathroom break right away. I went with coffee (and as a Miami local--I approve). Melissa performed the laser treatment, assisted by Marissa. The room was clean and comfortable, and we got right down to business. They gave me laser-protective glasses that honestly made me feel like X-mens Cyclops. They warned me it might hurt--and I'm glad they did! I didn't expect it to sting, but hey, it is a laser. I opted out of the numbing cream, so shoutout to both Melissa and Marissa for being patient, reminding me to breathe, and making it a surprisingly quick and efficient experience despite my need for occasional breaks. After the treatment, they applied cold aloe which felt amazing. There was some redness --nothing dramatic to the naked eye. The whole thing took under 30 minutes. Honestly, you could come in for laser and Botox on your lunch break and be back in time. Highly recommend Ideal Image Midtown. Thank you Lindsey for recommending them they're professional, friendly, and effective. And next time? I might just opt for the numbing cream

Then you will get transferred to the Dr, who will expect you to have 30min for a zoom conversation. (Just to give me Ultherapy price for the face). I told her right know I didn't have the time, that I had the treatment done before so I just wanted to know their prices, average price. She said no that is not how it works. So after wasting 20 min I couldn't get a price lol, definitely not going to try this place out.

I had a very disappointing and misleading experience at Arviv. I was sold a "full face" Ultherapy…read moretreatment at 50% off, which sounded like a great deal. However, what I received was far from what was promised. When I arrived, I had just come from the gym, and no one even offered me water. I asked for a coffee, and it was never brought. I was left waiting for the PA ( Tyana), and when she finally arrived, I honestly felt like I had more knowledge about the treatment than she did. No one offered me a robe or a chance to change out of my sweaty clothes. I was placed on a bed for about two hours without even a pillow under my knees, and now I'm dealing with back pain because of it. The most upsetting part is that I ended up paying for a full-face Ultherapy treatment, but they only worked on my jawline and slightly touched my eyebrows. That is NOT a full-face treatment. When I called to complain, the manager, Margarita, insisted they were completely right and claimed that what I received was "full face." After speaking with my plastic surgeon, I confirmed that a true full-face Ultherapy treatment should include cheeks, forehead, jawline, and chin. What makes this even worse is the inconsistency. First, they strongly insisted that I pay for and receive a full-face treatment. I even sent photos showing that they were wrong. Then, in an email, they suddenly stated they would refund me $180 because I only received a lower face treatment. Now I am even more confused, so which is it? Is it really acceptable to charge $1,470 for just a jawline treatment? This contradiction only confirms that they misrepresented the service from the beginning. Overall, this place is extremely unprofessional, not only in the service itself but in how they handle a dissatisfied client. I felt deceived, dismissed, and poorly treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone considering Ultherapy. Be very careful with their promotions; they are misleading and not trustworthy.

In July 2023, after having another baby a total Mommy Makeover was necessary. Dr. Rian Maerks did a tummy tuck, micro facelift, upper eyelid and lower eyelid surgery on me. All in one! The first 3 days the recovery was challenging with 3 kids, but on the fourth day I was already able to function a little and started working in less than a week! I am a extreme perfectionist and it is very difficult to satisfy me. As a patient I can be pretty annoying and picky, especially if it is about my beauty, but Dr. Rian Maerks was so patient, friendly and professional and the results are fascinating! I LOVE my new me! I couldn't imagine a better outcome. Actually the results are better than expected. Also friends, neighbors and other people in my life came up to me and mentioned that I look so rested and 10 years younger. I would never go anywhere else! Dr. Rian Maerks is by far the best plastic surgeon here in South Florida.

I want to warn others so you don't waste your time or money. First off, the woman assigned to me did not speak any English. When I politely tried to explain that most spas do facials at the end of the session (so my freshly treated face wouldn't be crushed into a massage table), she ignored me and kept repeating that everything had to be done in her order. When I asked if she was licensed as either a massage therapist or esthetician, she simply stared blankly at me -- she clearly was not trained or certified in either. And that's exactly what the whole session felt like: someone completely untrained. My "massage" lasted maybe 10 minutes total and consisted of oil being squirted all over me and hands gliding aimlessly across my body. Hot stones were jabbed into my back so aggressively that I cried out in pain and begged her to stop. My legs were hardly touched -- she never even went above my knees. The so-called "head massage" was just her pulling my hair and awkwardly pressing behind my ears like you would do to a pet. The facial was just as bad -- my face was only partially treated, as if she didn't know what she was doing. On top of this, my privacy was invaded when another technician walked in mid-session and they quietly spoke to each other while I was lying there feeling exposed and vulnerable. To add insult to injury, they charged a surprise $22 "spa fee" at checkout and didn't even offer me water -- let alone the "champagne and chocolates" that were promised. In the end, the "chocolates" turned out to be two mini Twix bars and some low-grade sparkling wine offered at the very end when I was already covered in oil and desperate to leave. No towels were given -- I had to search the drawers myself so I could dress without ruining my clothes. Honestly, this place is a scam. Nothing about this experience was relaxing or luxurious. The staff was unqualified, the techniques were sloppy and painful, and none of the advertised services were properly delivered. Save your money and go to a real spa -- you deserve better than this.
