The majority of the staff I've spoken to is completely inept in regards to giving any accurate information. It's taken 10 months to be able to speak to a technician. When I finally did, he didn't even know what spa I owned. He hadn't bothered to look up the serial number and was giving me information about an entirely different model. I now have to wait up to 72 MORE hours to speak to a supervisor.

After I made a claim due to leaking, the sent me the 'real' warranty' and said i should be happy to pay to fix it since I got a good deal. After much, much, much, much back and forth, they agreed to fix it. Now it's leaking from a hose that did not get enough glue to hold it in place. They did pay to diagnose it, but are not paying labor to fix it now. Here's the stance of the company agent on the phone: "I wasn't in the conversation you had with the sales person. I'm telling you what we're not going to do." They said they will not take responsibility for the shoddy workmanship on the "Catalina Luxury Kennedy." A hot tub is supposed to be relaxing. I am an extremely frugal shopper that takes A VERY LONG TIME to make a major purchase, I highly recommend DARA and the Great Backyard Place Staff. Very friendly and helpful (patient too). I swing by there about every ten days or so to have my water tested (for free!) and they are always friendly. Chemicals and maintenance are way easier than I expected. About $10 a month is all. And my power bill increase was about $7 a month. Well worth it. I will continue to do business with GBP and especially Dara, patio furniture is next.

I would not recommend this place. I needed to replace my pool liner back in March. The service…read moremanager Todd told me I would have to pay $150 to get placed on the schedule and it would would take 1 to 2 weeks to get someone out to measure. After two weeks and no one showing up I called Todd and he said it would be at least 5 more weeks to get someone out to measure. So in two weeks they slipped the schedule 5 more weeks for a total of 7 weeks to have some one come our to measure my pool. I then called a couple of more times and was told I was on the schedule but they were very busy due to rain. Which we haven't had much of. Last week after 8 weeks I cancelled the measuring and went to another company. They came out in a week and didn't charge anything.

We decided $20k-$27k was just out of our comfort zone so we passed on it. Six months later, and the beginning of a new year, we started looking at what last years models would be going for. This time a locally family owned and operated place popped up on my search. Tennessee Tub Factory, just down the mountain from us in South Pittsburg! So we took a drive down there to see what they had. We met Blake Fox, one of the owners. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and answered ALL of our questions. We are able to choose where we want to position the jets. If we want one pump or add more jets and add duel pumps. The entire process was so amazing! And the cost for a custom built hot tub, built and serviced right here in Tennessee by a proud military family???? Well, it was 1/3 of the price for what the big box store was going to charge us! They offer exceptional customer service. Are always available to answer any questions we had through the entire process and are one of the nicest families we've met here in TN. We were there recently, and her backyard pool's water level was very low. She was a bit worried about it, so we checked out Chattanooga Pool Services, and let them know there was a problem. They came out within 24 hours, checked the levels, and noticed that one of the water pumps was not working, and the pool had been leaking water. The issue was fixed in about an hour, and we were very surprised at the cost. Thanks to Chattanooga Pool Services, we were able to enjoy the pool for the rest of our long weekend!
