This was my first visit at this FitLife store and met with the manager Lisa who emitted a great personality with a professional presence without exerting an aggressive sales pitch. Spun the colorful "Whirl of Fun" prize wheel at the front counter and won a free meal of my choice from the wall cooler. Lisa provided a recommendation for the bourbon street chicken and white rice with 690 calories and 73 grams of protein meal (thats a great protein to calorie ratio). The nutritional value was exactly what I was looking for in a complete meal. This location as most, provide microwaves inside the store to heat up your meal and eat on the front patio, take back to your office or eat in your car. I took my meal home and microwave heated the contents per the simple instructions. The rice could have been softer but the bourbon chicked had an explosion of flavor in every moist chunk and was pleased that there was plenty of sauce. Satisfied by the taste and size of the meal, but could not find the expiration date on the wrapper.

A few days later, Lisa notified us by email correcting her quote of $16 for the salad which was actually fair priced at $11.95. All humans make mistakes, but this displays excellent customer service - well maybe on the next visit I will try it.

I often must drain water out of the container before reheating and then the taste isn't as good. I used to order 6 meals and pay for shipping without any issues. Now they require a minimum of 8 meals claiming it is necessary for shipping and quality--which doesn't make sense. If anything, shipping fewer meals should make handling and packaging easier, not harder - making this change feel like a profit-driven decision rather than a quality one. Furthermore, I was able to order 6 meals the fiirst week the website changed but when I sent an email to find out why it no longer allowed this, the explanation was that it was a "system issue with the website". I work in IT and this field would need to be manually changed, the explanation feels like a corporate spin. Since they merged with Elite Nutrition, the focus feels more on profit than customer experience. The food still has a good flavor for vegan meals, but that alone no longer justifies the price or the frustration.

I love how the different meals are organized by the category of meals you are looking to eat. They have a shopping cart there if you don't want to carry the meals. They offer healthy snacks and a breakfast items as well. If you wish to heat up your food there, you can because they have microwaves available for use. I can't wait to try more of the choices they have available. They have a garage parking and a they have a reserved parking spaces for 15 minute parking for ideal nutrition customers. It is not a heavy meal but nutritionally well balanced. They offer three microwave ovens to heat up the food and sit at a table to eat or a grab n' go concept.
