We had a Yellowjacket nest by our air conditioning unit outside that had a large Yellowjacket nest beside it. Ideal sent someone out within 2 hours to take care of the nest outside and inside the house where they were also coming in. Was very impressed with their quick response and professionalism. Scheduled a window cleaning with them for the next day. They arrived on time, were very professional, and did a great job. I have been using Ideal Peat and Window cleaning for years. Never had a problem Gary is always prompt with service and phone calls and more than helpful when it comes to insect problems and questions. I always schedule a window cleaning with Ideal Window Cleaning immediately following a structural spray for bees I have always been accommodated. In fact they try very hard to get you in ASAP. On a side note about insect spray, I had them spray for the Stink Bugs and it was extremely successful! I use Ideal for several services: Pest Control: I have used them for many, many years and you cannot find a more caring company. Started using them on an as needed basis for ants and an occasional mouse. Each time they came in and solved the problem. The mice were easy but the ants were stubborn. Their price included follow up visits to see how things were going and to re-apply the spray. I saw Scott a lot for ants that year. For a few years I have purchased their 365 Plan which includes 3 exterior sprays a year plus call backs at no charge if anything is in the house. This year is the first time I had to call them back for ants. The visit was included. Only thing you must purchase separately is Stink Bugs. Thumbs up for always being on time for the appointments. House Power Washing: Large 2 story with White siding has a tendency to have green on it during wet weather. Ideal gave it a good scrubbing in 2016 and no green has reappeared. They were efficient and cleaned up after them selves. Good price. Window Washing: This is the second year that I have used this service for outside of the windows and screen cleaning. They have a crew of 2 people and did 29 windows plus sliders in about 1 1/2. They welcome inspection to perfection. They also do chandeliers in foyers. Great job Robert! Gutter Cleaning: This is a twice a year cleaning for me since we live in a wooded area. They come in and unclogged them for us. Don't even need to be at home which is good for working people. While the company did come out and spray for bees - they did not tell me they would be spraying a thick substance on my home and windows. It does not come off with rain and leaves your windows with a drippy substance on them. I asked the secretary and owner about it and both admitted this is a problem but they don't warn people ahead of time. (I had my windows professionally cleaned a week prior so it was a big problem for me and I would have waited to have them cleaned after had they warned me.) They admitted there are people every year who complain about the windows and that they offer a window cleaning service (imagine that!) at a slight discount. If they clean windows like they sloppily spray the house - I would never use them. The owner was condescending and rude when I talked to him - he seemed itching for a fight. I did pay them and have asked to be reimbursed for the window cleaning (by another reputable company). I also complained to the BBB. Nothing back from Ideal. You've been warned. read more
