    We moved into our home about 3 weeks ago and realized I was being eaten alive by something at…read morenight. Our house is 170 years old so of course we thought there was something lurking beneath the floorboards. James Hurst came out to do a bed bug inspection for us (didn't find any!! Yay!), then offered to check around for fleas and termites as well! He even found the holes in our house where mice snuck in and gave us some sticky traps. Previously to James coming out, we had been no showed by Terminix 4 times (Reason for the 4 stars). James called me at about 10am today and said he would come between 3-5 and he showed up right at 4! His customer service was top notch and he was extremely friendly. He educated me on what things might look like if we had them, even showed me pictures from his work experience. I can sleep better at night! Thank you James!!

He was half deaf, & said…read morehe'd do a follow-up, but no one could reach him@ the phone# on his business card, including the company. He never followed up. Nor did the company. My sister called 3 times, & the last time she screamed@ them, I was ready to do so & may still. They 'used' to be a good service, but they've gone down the toilet. They also charged my Mom's credit card when she, specifically, told them she wanted to write a check. They finally sent somebody for follow-up but it was the same idiot old man. I do not recommend this company to anybody. Use them@ your own risk. This is my honest review about them!

Then I contacted them and asked to pre-pay annually making it easier to not write so many checks every year. Get an invoice for $400.31 which we pay blazing fast as we always do. A month later, we get ANOTHER invoice for ALMOST $900 advising this would be the balance for remainder of year. Patton did NOT perform ANY services the first half of the year. We always must call them to remind the company that we paid for their services and we always have to call & ask them to actually come out and perform the work. They came ONLY ONE time and I really thought that the $400.31 was high for the balance of the year considering they ONLY came ONE TIME. I called them and the young lady was less than pleasant stating OH! our prices went up. Up from $500 a year to $1,200 a year? more than twice as much without even discussing any of this with us. A customer for more than 15 years. This company has absolutely, inconsiderately & uncaringly decided to just rape & pillage a very long standing customer. Not by raising their prices but the way they have done it. My advice is for customers that need pest control, is to shop around for pricing to make sure they are getting a fair shake. I submit that this is ridiculous. They came only ONE time, in early June and they were here only 1/2 hour. It figures we still have bugs EVERYWHERE. Our advice & suggestion is for customers to check alternative company's pricing before approving PATTON Pest Control. Signed by VERY NOT HAPPY customer.

It is expensive and inflation has really destroyed our retirement income. We still had bugs after years of constant treatments but not near as bad as it used to be. We did have to begin to treat ourselves because they just weren't stopping the ants and I was tired of sharing my bed and bathroom with them. OK, we can do better ourselves so I called to cancel the service in a good mood. The girl on the phone was my problem. I asked to cancel and she informed me we couldn't stop the next service, there was a 30 day clause and... I saw red! So my voice raised and said "you got to be kidding me!? I don't want your service, no ORKIN truck in my drive, ok? She kept on arguing with me. What's to argue? Stop my service and though I don't agree with a 30 day policy, let the chips fall where they may. I'll deal with that when the time comes, NO MORE ORKIN at my house, got it!? This went on until I was screaming and she accused me of cursing. I did not curse, not a single word. She even said I believe you but... believe me? I don't care what you think of me, just cancel my service! That just fired me off to say. NO MORE ORKIN EVER, GOT IT? and I hung up. I went from Orkin is ok, not great but ok to don't ever curse my driveway with an Orkin truck ever in super sonic speed. They have an office problem. Steer clear unless you like having false accusations raged at you because frankly you can't afford their service anymore and it wasn't really worth what you paid for it for many years anyway. Hey we just liked the service guy, he had a family and we were happy to help keep him employed even if we could have done better.

Thought it was a mouse, which happens occasionally I'm an old house…read more Started looking for a service after the noise didn't abate and the cat wasn't catching anything. Daniel answered right away and came out a couple of hours later. Did an interior inspection since the noise seemed to be in one spot. Of course the critter made no noise. Outside it was. He checked the area where we were hearing the sounds and couldn't find anything. Then he started on the roof our front. Found a raccoon hold by the gutter right away. Set the trap and we had our raccoon within ten hours. Daniel came out the next day to retrieve the raccoon and the trap and scheduled a time to come back to raccoon/critter proof the hole. I definitely recommend Catch A Critter and Daniel. Very responsive and incredibly knowledgeable. While I hope we never have any critters in the house again, I would not hesitate to call Daniel if we do! Definitely five out of five stars.

    Called Catch A Critter after my daughter heard an animal scratching and banging in her…read morechimney/fireplace. They came out went on the roof and said that there was evidence that the animal was just on the roof and assured her that there was no animal in her chimney-she continued to hear the noise until it stopped about a week later. Soon after she found an excessive amount of maggots and flies in and around her basement fireplace and there was an odd smell. She called out another company who removed a dead racoon from her chimney. Because the racoon was laying on the flue and there was no way to take it out though the fireplace, bricks needed to be removed from the chimney and it was removed from there. The cost of this service and the repair will be in excess of $2000. We called catch a critter after to tell them what occurred, they refused to accept any responsibility and should have at least refunded the money we paid to them. I would never recommend a company that will not stand by their service.
