After calling them on the phone the day before and confirming passport photo for 6 dollars, the same guy working there points to a sign saying 2 minimum for 10. When I state that I called and confirmed 1 for 6, he questioned the number of this business being wrong which he then said was right. Never coming back - also it is in a small cramped room, in the middle of nowhere. Additionally had to wait 30 minutes to print out the 2 photos while I only needed 1. When I mentioned my displeasure would be in a review, he gave me a reduced price of 8 dollars ... for miscommunication. Find a better and honest business or just go to your local pharmacy for a passport photo - they wont make you feel like youre in a schemy car dealership enticing customers with one price over the phone then switching. read more

Very sweet, friendly, and professional people. Got my passport photos taken here and was out the door in minutes. The man, I'm assuming the owner, showed me to a mirror before hand and had me fix my shirt so that it came out symmetrical in the photo. He also fixed the coloring on the photo and they came out great and for once it actually looks like me in real life. They do many types of print and will be back to get a quote on a wedding photo book. read more

We went to Syful to get our Save the Dates printed. Syful was a breath of fresh air after going to staples and having a terrible experience and getting ridiculous quotes from other companies. He provided us with top quality cardstock and amazing color for our save the dates. He was extremely experienced, accommodating, and helpful. He was able to answer all of our questions and provided us with the quickest service imaginable! We didn't even expect to get the service done same day and he did everything in less than 20 minutes! He even gave us free samples of our cards on different kinds of cardstock. The price was beyond reasonable. We really couldn't believe how affordable the cards came out to! I have already started spreading the word and recommending him to my friends! Don't you love finding GEMS in your own neighborhood? I needed to do a full bleed print job and the chain office supply stores are not able to print to bleed so of course, I went on yelp and found American Colorline. Those that posted reviews were not lying. What a friendly soul and so welcoming. Very patient and really listened well to what I wanted. Over the past few years, I've worked for a number of different non-profits and private sector companies in Queens, and time and time again, I have been able to count on American ColorLine for all my printing needs. From business cards, to brochures and posters, I knew that when time was of the essence, I could rely on their dedication and expediency. After just a few visits, I felt like the owner and I became good friends, and many times he has brought me behind the scenes to customize my job to make sure it comes out exactly as I would like it to. I arrived Wednesday evening to pick the prints and was told scornfully "I told you Thursday or Friday" . The man was not only wrong but very combative in his tone and language. I can understand if the prints were not made by the set pickup date but I can not understand the need to act defensively and the attempt to shift blame onto me, the paying client. The man told me I could come back Thursday and I asked if he was positive and he confirmed. He said he would text me when they were done and I left. I walked in Thursday afternoon and the man said "you're here to pick up the prints aren't you, I told you Thursday or Friday and that I would text you". He wasn't apologetic he was annoyed. I countered he confirmed they would be ready Thursday and he became even more argumentative and dismissive. Regardless of the pick up times that were argued, this is extremely poor customer service. I paid in advance for a service which was not rendered in the agreed upon timeframe and instead of being accommodating or at the least kind about it I was met with contempt and made to feel like I was an annoyance. This is inexcusable. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I had a little trouble finding the place but that was my fault because I did not have the exact address on hand and I was looking for a storefront rather than a 2nd floor office "down the hall". You'll see lots of passport photo options in the area but don't settle for less. Find the Kabab King/King Plaza building and look for American Colorline on the 2nd floor. You'll be glad you did. Syful and Afroza were very friendly and helpful. Syful was particularly attentive to the quality of my photos (even to the point of having me adjust my collar). Syful does so much more than passport photos (e.g. business cards, invitation cards and website development) and since tax season is upon us you may want to have Afroza Salam do your taxes while you're at it. The owner Syful was very attentive and provided outstanding service. I needed to have my passport photos taken and he did it within minutes, without neglecting great attention to detail and quality. They really take quality time to take care of all your photos needs. called right before they were closing and they were generous to wait for me even though it was for a small job.
