Pictures, brochures and videos are all helpful but they put the best angles and views to sell the apartment. Too often I have wanted to run to get an apartment from the photos but when I got there it was a different story: Poorly maintained lawns, broken screens, very poor curb appeal. I'm no longer taken in by internet or photos, I go to the reviews first. So this is my review of Carrington Lane. What you see is what you get and more. The curb appeal is pleasing to the eye, the maintenance crew do a magnificent job and respond quickly to any need, the buildings are all in tip top shape and very recently renovated, the huge oak trees give you a feeling of being up north and yet the palm trees remind you that this is beautiful Florida. Whatever you need is rarely more than an 8 minute drive to such places as the mall, theaters, Home Depot, all sorts of restaurants and shopping. Should you need any medical care there are Urgent Care Facilities, a hospital and yes for Veterans a nearby large clinic. The downtown area is special to walk through, view the old but never abandoned building and store fronts, the park and so much more. You will never be bored. If you enjoy horses, tour the many horse ranches and mansions on a scenic drive. There is plenty to do in Ocala. I left the best to last. You can have nice buildings and grounds, pretty trees and amenities but if you don't feel it's home, it's not anything. Here is where Caitlin, Rebecca and Lindsay come in. They are the three women who make Carrington Lane not merely a house to live in but a home to enjoy, have fun and be proud to say: I live at Carrington. A lot of apartments offer something special at Christmas, Easter and other major holidays. Carrington Lane does that too but so much more. They are like thinking 24/7, how can we make our residents involved, happy and yet not be intrusive. They do it. There are so many things to do if you wish, or if you simply want to remain closer to home and your lovely screened in patio, that's fine too. You do what you want to do. However, no one can say the staff is uncaring or not helpful, they go far beyond the call to assist you and always with a smile. This is a long review, but before closing why not go to Face Book and check out the 200 plus photos of the many activities Lindsay, Rebecca and Caitlin put on for your enjoyment from Coffee Day, Free Lunch Day, Dress up and Dress down day, Blood Drive Day, Pizza Day, Donut Day, Brewery Day, Fashion Day and so much more. They do all of this in addition to their responsibilities in the office. I hope you found this review somewhat helpful. My family and I have been renting from Ocala Choice Realty for the last 8+ years with very few problems. And when a problem did arise, Lisa and the team from Ocala Choice Realty handled each one with complete honesty, integrity and promptness. When there was a repair to be made, Lisa would ALWAYS take care of it right away. There was never an excuse or a put off. They have always treated us with respect. Our concerns became their concerns with the home owner's concerns always held first and foremost in every situation. Although we did not always agree with some of the decisions that were made, we always considered them fair for all parties involved. I would very much highly recommend Lisa and the whole team at Ocala's Choice Realty to Sellers, Buyers, Home Owner's and Renters Alike. In my humble opinion, no one would ever go wrong by doing business with Ocala's Choice Realty.

Lisa and her shade tree home repair team doesn't have a clue what they are doing. From a property management standpoint she runs your property as if you are a slump Lord and the repair team doesn't do half the repairs properly which creates bigger issues down the road. Meanwhile you spend a ton of money having her team do repairs they never complete or half way do. The result is is a high turnover in tenants but then when they leave she also blames faulty repairs on them and then steals the tenants deposits opening the owner up for lawsuits. Bad karma all the way around when dealing with this LOP of a company. I would not recommend Lisa or Ocala choice if you are looking to purchase a home, to manage your property, or as a renter. I would avoid her all together as you are likely to get screwed one way or another in any business dealings with her.

Her knowledge of the community and the homes impressed us. She showed us homes to see what we liked. We let her know what features and upgrades we wanted. She was fantastic! We searched other communities, however, nothing compared to OTOW and we found ourselves back at OTOW before our return trip home. Once we sold our home, Mercedes was able to find us a move in ready home with all of the options we desired. She also introduced us to their relocation team. Greatly reducing the stress of a long distance move. Now that we've been here for over four months, life is good! I'm not a golfer but that never matter as the community gets 5 stars for all kinds of things to do. This isn't The Villages so there is not AS much going on. But was fine as it is not a zoo like latter either. You still have absolutely enough activities and fun clubs in OTOW. We really enjoyed the music both within the community and just outside the gate by Chandler Hills. Library, ping pong and wood shop were just a few of our favorites. Excellent fitness centers! Pools can get a busy at times but that's to be expected. Timing! Now for 3 stars. High HOA. Most places go up over time but it was pushing here. That said, you still get lots for the money. Put it this way. I wouldn't let $100 keep me from staying here. Personal advise. Wherever you move, OTOW vs the Village or elsewhere, look for a home that doesn't back up to common road. We lived on street with no road behind us. That was a smart buy living wise. Probably made our house sell that much faster, too.

There is girl name Rachel, she is very rude and condescending to everyone! to tenants and to…read morevendors, yesterday at the holiday party I seen this first hand and I cannot stay silence when someone with no education and manners talk to people they way their want it just because they have a management position. then she was with her boyfriend or some men talking about everyone and their mothers, that was present in the event putting them down. also the crew that was feeding us food got her disrespectful and disgusting attitude and she was talking about them too like one was hearing her. That is unprofessional behavior and is unacceptable for a person in her position to talk about people present in an event. she broke all the codes. she has an attitude and an inferiority problem of some kind, but she should NOT be allowed to talk to anyone in that manner.
