I chose Rinse because it positions itself as a premium laundry service and I was willing to pay more for careful, professional handling. I even selected the hang-dry option specifically because it was supposed to provide additional protection for my clothes. Despite that, multiple garments were returned damaged, including pulled and missing threads, snagging, permanent bubbling and distortion of the fabric, excessive creasing, and even what appeared to be pet/dog hairs on some items. Several of the affected garments cost over $100 each and now have permanent damage. This was well beyond the minor wear and tear that can occasionally happen during cleaning. Virtually every item also came back heavily creased and needed additional ironing before it could be worn. What made the experience considerably worse was the customer service afterward. I contacted Rinse directly first because I wanted to give them the opportunity to investigate what happened before posting anything publicly. Unfortunately, despite explaining the extent of the damage and raising the issue with them, I did not receive a meaningful response or resolution. Mistakes can happen with any laundry service, but I would expect a premium company to take concerns about damaged clothing seriously and respond appropriately when a customer raises them. The pickup and delivery team were excellent, so my criticism is specifically about the cleaning process and the way the issue was handled afterward. I had expected a much higher standard given Rinse's pricing and reputation, particularly after paying for hang drying to help protect the garments. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone sending valuable or delicate clothing to Rinse and would recommend considering other options if careful garment handling is important to you.

Three days before my graduation, I brought in a brand-new white Donna Karan dress that I had purchased only two days earlier. The dress had never been worn. The only issue was that it had gotten wet during delivery and developed a few yellow water stains. Before leaving the dress, I specifically asked whether the stains could be removed. I explained that the dress was for my graduation and that I needed it back quickly. I was clearly told that the stains could be treated and that the dress could be properly cleaned and pressed. Based on that assurance, I trusted them with an important garment for one of the most special days of my life and paid for expedited service. While the dress was returned on time, the actual service was a complete failure. The stains were still there. In fact, the dress looked just as bad, if not worse, than when I brought it in. When I got ready for my graduation and took a closer look, I realized the dress was not wearable. At that point, it was too late to find another solution. What makes this even more frustrating is that this review is not about the $22 charge. It is about trust. If the stains could not be removed, I should have been told that from the beginning. Instead, they accepted the dress, assured me the work could be done, charged me for the service, and returned it without fixing the problem. To make matters worse, they also removed the original Donna Karan tag from the dress and did not reattach it or return it to me. This was a brand-new designer dress, and there was absolutely no reason for the tag to be removed without my permission. The final disappointment came when I called to express my concerns. The person who answered the phone identified herself as the manager and was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in taking responsibility for what happened. There was no apology, no attempt to understand the situation, and no effort to make things right. This business did not simply fail to clean a dress. They ruined an important moment that I can never get back. A graduation only happens once, and because of their poor workmanship, lack of transparency, and terrible customer service, I was left stressed and disappointed right before a milestone event in my life. Please read the reviews carefully before trusting this business with any important garment, especially a new or special-occasion item.
