Spoke to store manager Vio on 9-5-2025. I called to inquire about school uniforms for Trey Whitfield School. I explained to her that I'm coming from Long Island and wanted to know if they have a specific item in store. She gave a very broad answer of yes Trey Whitfield has items in store. I explained to her I'm just concerned about a certain size and can she tell me if they have a bulk of that size or just a few. Her answer once again is Trey Whitfeild have items in the store. That customer service is unacceptable. Wasn't helpful at all. Didn't want to tell me her name at first. When I asked her name her response was I'm the manager. Ideal has been around for years and my parents use to go here for my uniforms. I am going to speak to the Principal about the business connections established and explain the difficulty for the parents when trying to get information about uniforms. read more

Always a frustrating and horrible experience. I wish more schools would seek out a different uniform supplier. the employees are more concerned with their private conversations or giving their phone lunch orders than paying attention to the customers. The inventory is never in stock ahead of the school season and ordering is useless m. I'm currently on week 6 of waiting for my order to arrive but they had my money on DAY 1!!!! There are a handful of employees that truly do their best and provide quality service but it's overshadowed by the lack of overall care, service and sufficient inventory. I pay more and use Flynn O'Hara for one child but unfortunately this is the only retailer option for my youngest. can't wait for him to change schools so that I can stop giving them my money! read more

I just called the store because a uniform that I ordered on 2/2/2019 had not arrived. I called and spoke with the store because as of today 2/13/2019 I have not received the order. This store charges an exorbitant fee of $12.00 in shipping and handling fees. Joel answered the phone and told me he was limited in what he could do because the USPS website was down. I asked Joel how should I proceed going forward, he answered "I do not know!" His tone was unprofessional and abrupt. I reiterated that I needed a resolution and I was prepared to call consumer affairs. Joel shouted, "that's not fair" AND HUNG UP. JOEL THE MANAGER HUNG UP. Customer service is unacceptable. Surprisingly I had a good experience here last Sunday. This store was empty and I was able to get the help I needed right away. My child already lost 2 of his uniform ties so I had to replace them, plus a pants and a gym outfit. I "forgot" my 10% off card, the line I always you so remember to walk with yours or tell them you forgot it at home by mistake. The store overall isnt the cheapest but they are the only ones that have the school ties and embroid the gym top. read more

Ordered my kid's uniform shirts mid August. I did not want them to be delivered to my home as I was going on vacation late August so I opted to pick them up at the store. After vacation I called to see if they were ready. Some of the shirts were but not all. I went and picked up what was ready to have something for my son for school. I called several weeks later. The rest of the shirts were still not ready and I was told they will call me when it's ready. Here we are mid October and I still haven't received a call. I will call this week. HORRID! I ordered uniforms for my child in August! They charged my card and have failed to give me any updates! The school informed us that they were having some delays, so I waited. Now it's October I started calling. The first time I was told they hadn't received any mediums - for almost 2 months?! They told me a manager would call me by the end of the week. I waited 2 weeks, no call. I finally called back, I was told that 1) the manager wasn't in this week & might be back next week. 2) the head manager isn't answering calls so it's useless to call him. Visiting this location on a Saturday morning, the store was extremely busy with parents on the hunt for back to school uniforms. I was hesitant to start shopping as I seen the line was wrapped around almost out the store. I needed nursing scrub/uniforms and asked a worker for help. She directed me to the back/side of the store which was a separate area away from the school uniforms. Thanks god lol. I was attended quickly and found everything I needed with the help of a worker. She went above and beyond to help find my size and specific brand I needed for my nursing uniform. They even had a separate cashier for this area. This store sells good qualities items but the waitin line to get your school's logo printed on the shirt takes wayyyyyy to long. I've stayed in line with my 2 friends for over 30 minutes waiting for this logo to be printed on the shirt. The clothes and items they sell here are good qualitity but the waiting takes way to. Update: I'm in the store for the second time this week, all because they messed up my order. I asked for a youth medium and they gave me a extra small shirt. Now not only do I have to wait in line for another hour just like yesterday but now there refusing to help me. This place is the pits. It is so unorganized, they never have the right sizes for our school, and the bathroom is gross. The management is rude and doesn't respond to requests. We use the one in Valley Stream.... Everything is falling apart and dirty and disheveled. They don't have good sizes. The materials are cheap. And the prices aren't great. The fitting rooms are horrible. There was no soap or paper towels or a working drier in the bathroom. They just shrugged when I mentioned this. The lines are long. I have no choice because our school uses this place but if you have the ability to get your clothes anywhere else you should get them somewhere else. I cannot stand this store. I have been trying to find out the status of an order for about a week. I recieved an order that is not mine and no one seems to know what to do with it. I emailed to get a shipping label to send back their mistake and no answer. I'll embroider my own shirts for school. Update: I have been in constant contact with the store to get my uniforms. The manager, Joel, was super helpful in helping me identify the problem and coming up with a solution. In the end, there was a clerical error at the store, and then a shipping error at USPS. Once identified, I came to the store to pick up the uniforms. I ordered my child's uniforms over 3 weeks ago and never got the package. (I had initially gone to their pop up store but they didn't have a lot of the sizes I needed.) When I first emailed them about my order no one responded. Then I called, the lady on the phone was friendly and said she'd call me back later that day when she figured out what happened. I never got a call back from her or anybody. I called back the following day and was told the same thing. And again no one called me back. I called back for a third time the day after and was told that they lost my order and would refill it but now some of the items are out of stock. My daughters school sweater scans one price at the register but cashier charged me another because she claims it was the wrong tag Even went so far as to accuse me of changing the tag. I have several eComm Stores even shipping from China doesn't take as long as these people take to even process the order before even shipping it. DO NOT Order from the store if you expect any normal turn around time. DO NOT Pay Expedited shipping or any extra shipping because it doesn't matter since the minimum lead time is 2 weeks. Which they DO NOT disclose during checkout in any plain way. If they do it is extremely hidden. My Daughters Jumper she had was fine but some reason the cleaners screwed it up. So I ordered a new set unknowingly, to me that it would take this long. Only reason I even found out is because I reached out to the so called "customer support" Which gave me a one liner to my queries which coming from this business and having support staff is a canned response they took zero effort to check the order. This is the canned message Good morning, Orders can take up to 2-3 weeks to be completed then the extra shipping will apply. Thank you Sincerely, Customer Support, They even didn't take the time to write their name of who the support staff that was answering it that's how I know this is a canned response that can be pre-filled. Two three clicks and move on. I'm going to speak to the archdioceses department that handles this they need to have another option than this place. It was my third time back to the store and probably my last. My first experience here was wonderful. I met Debbie who is the owner of the store and she was very nice and helpful. I liked that they have a wide selection of scrub brands to choose from. Today, I went to pick up an order I had placed with them, and the ladies who helped me today was just rude. One lady kept knocking on the fitting room door and asked if I was wearing make up, and when I said No, why? She rudely stated "oh, no reason." I just figured if you're going to scan my face and ask me if I'm wearing makeup, the least they can do is let me know why. I was looking forward to my trip back to this store, but today was just a big disappointment. Save yourself the trip from coming here and dealing with rude staff. ADVISE YOUR SCHOOL!!-On August 16 I placed an online order for uniforms which never arrived. After several calls and emails I was informed the merchandise was shipped and they relinquish all responsibility once orders are shipped. When pressed for assistance in locating my order I received the USPS tracking number which showed items were delivered to another zip code. The full address was not shown in the tracker but the zip code was the same zip code of the store- not mine! The store refused to offer further assistance and said I should open a claim with USPS. Ideal refuses to acknowledge my package was sent to an incorrect location or offer any other resolution. Advised the school and opened a case with the BBB. This business should not be ANY school's provider. read more
