Do not trust other reviews. They hold a raffle every month for a new iPad Mini if you write a good review. When I went the box holding raffle tickets was full - that's a lot of incentivized reviews! This is the worst repair job I've ever seen. I dropped my iPad 4th generation on 1 corner, cracking the glass over the border. I took it to iDeviceMD (now called Shux) and they promised a 24 hour turnaround, saying they would call me. They did not call me - I wound up calling them the next day several times before I got in touch with someone who told me I could pick it up. Worst part - to replace the glass, they bent and deformed 2 other corners of the iPad to perform the repair. The aluminum is clearly scuffed and scratched where they deformed it. Also - the very thin plastic rim around the glass is scuffed and cut in a couple of places, and it's now raised a bit, forming a noticeable and annoying ridge around the edge of the glass when you hold it. I compared it to my sister's iPad when I got home and the raised ridge is clearly noticeable on my "fixed" iPad compared to hers. I took it in with one scuffed corner and a crack in the screen, and got it back with 3 scratched up/busted corners and a cut up and improperly seated plastic rim around the edge. It looks and feels terrible. Such an amateurish job. Should have sent it in to Apple instead. If you care about your devices, don't take them here! read more

Had a good experience here. The customer service people were very friendly and helpful, was able to help make the appointment and also give me the price. My ipad was really shattered and they were able to replace the screen. I have to say they did a great job overall, and I only have comments on a couple of little things. The color of my new white ipad screen doesn't quite match the color of the home button. And I had to take my ipad back in to get re-service because part of the new glass was not completed sticking to the body. Again the service was nice and they got me in and out in ten mins. Would definitely recommend. read more

I called the number listed to schedule an appointment being very specific that I had an iPhone 6. When I arrived, I was told that they were out and would not have for several days. Their number still routes to a centralized scheduling service, Cellaris. Greater coordination with the stores would not waste customers time. While not as convenient, I was better off getting OEM parts for the same price from the Apple Store and not voiding my warranty. read more

I used this company back in 2020 and he was vert quick came out and fixed my iPhone SX front…read morescreen. So i did not hesitate to call him again for the back glass of my iPhone 13 pro Well Tom came over and sat in his van and fixed my iPhone 13 pro or at least I thought so. I came inside and not 10 minutes later my front screen was popping off of the phone. I messaged and told him about this, and he responded back with telling me that because they had to remove the clips to remove the back the front clips might be lose well it was more than that the LCD screen was off and on even when it was just sitting there on the table. I messaged again that morning asking if someone could come and look at my phone because I cannot send him a screenshot of the damage obviously and he blew me off for about a week. Finally, he had someone named Ian come out to look at the front screen and Ian told me that the clips on the front were,gone so I got my iPhone 13 pro fixed the back glass was broken on it nut nothing was wrong with the front of the glass at all. After booking an appointment someone who has an issue with their work you are no longer important because they won't come back and fix it unless they charge you again and again they don't even give you a discount I learned a lesson to never do business with someone who is not apple certified yeah he charges 100 dollars to fix your phone however it takes him all of 3 minutes to do it and it'll be broken again in less than a month so if you just bite the bullet and go to an apple certified place and pay maybe 200 your phone will still be eligible for trade in and it won't break permanently in a money or less i mean if you want to throw the phone away let him fix it or if you think because someone knows something you don't you can watch a YouTube video and learn how to do it just as easily and not give your money to this greedy man he is hands down a crook i promise you the biggest crook!!! Your response to my post about your company shows right there that you truly are a piece of shit I mean most businesses ask the person how they could've made their experience better bot not you. You already know you are a piece of work and you'll just about do whatever you have to do to get a sale and if someone has an issue with your work you are 'too busy' to come back and look at the work you did but if they have something else their wanting to pay for you'll be right there. Last night I completely shattered my front screen on my iPhone 4s. I googled places to get it fixed and most of the prices were a little too high for me, especially the apple store. Although I stumbled upon Shux and thought it looked very reliable. I went in the next morning and dropped my phone off. When I came back my phone looked great. The price was very reasonable and the service was amazing. The wait for my phone was about an hour which is very minimum when it comes to getting your phone fixed. I highly recommend them and I will be coming back if I have any other phone problems. read more

Is it typical for the undamaged corners to get crimped and jagged during the repair? I placed my repaired iPad in an LifeProof case; when I opened it a week later (almost no use, never dropped), the screen was cracked right by one of the corners that was quite crimped during the repair. Could be a bad LifeProof case, but between a brand new LifeProof and a replaced screen with crimped frame, I bet on the frame. Asked Shux if their 90-day warranty would cover it- they refused without looking at it. But they did do quick work, if that's more important to you than no further damage. read more

Only good things to say about SHUX. Quick, professional and friendly staff. Shattered my 5s (surprisingly NOT at AthFest, but in the middle of Target of all places) and was in and out in about 30 minutes after work. With a 90 day guarantee, I feel confident in their work. Phone now works and looks great. Definitely would recommend and go back for other repairs (Hopefully not anytime soon) but then again, may just be back for another intense game of Jenga (courtesy of SHUX for your waiting amusement) read more

Excellent service. Help my daughters iPhone screen is cracked again. Called iDevice on Sunday morning, made an appointment for 12:15, run an errand and picked up my phone in less than one hour. Store was clean and the staff were friendly and knowledgable. In terms of price, iDevice is less than most I have seen which with a family of 5, I've seen a lot. I drove all the way to Marietta from Grant Park to get my cracked iPhone screen replaced by idevice. Friends had recommended them and I was not disappointed. They did an awesome job and it was super fast. Great location so I was able to also run some errands while my phone was being fixed. AND they are open on weekends. Highly recommend them! read more

Had an appt at 1:30, walked right in and had no wait. My iPhone 5 screen had cracked and Apple was charging over $200 and T-Mobile was charging $175 for overnight. I was in-and-out in 45 min and it only cost me $89 to have my screen replaced. Everyone was super nice and very professional and my phone looks perfect. Highly, highly recommend them! read more

It had released slightly on the corner and I subsequently dropped the phone and the screen cracked. Ivory explained this to her manager and they replaced the screen at no charge, fully standing behind their warranty. read more
