Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I started my case almost two years ago. While communication wasn't always the best, whenever I reached out, I usually received a response within a reasonable amount of time. I was instructed to continue medical treatment and do everything necessary to strengthen my case, so that's exactly what I did. After nearly two years with little to no meaningful update, I recently received a call informing me that Zach was dropping my case because there had been no communication from the other party. That left me with several questions. If my case was more difficult than others you handle, why wait two years to decide you were no longer willing to pursue it? Why wasn't I given the opportunity to find another law firm sooner? If your attempts to contact the other party weren't working, why weren't other methods pursued, such as having someone serve them? What happens to all the medical bills I accumulated because I was told to continue treatment? It feels like my case was simply abandoned because it required more work than expected. Now that my case is nearly two years old, important evidence like the video footage I requested may no longer exist, and finding another reputable attorney may be much more difficult because so much time has passed. All of this could have been avoided if I had been told during my initial consultation that my case was not something your firm was willing or able to handle. Instead, I was given false hope and empty promises, and now I'm left with medical debt and no legal representation. I genuinely don't understand how this is fair. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this firm for cases requiring real investigation or persistence. When the case became more challenging, I felt it was ultimately abandoned.

I wasted 4 1/2months of time and $2500! I hired them for termination of parental rights and after being retained, it took AJay 3 wks to even contact the other party! I feel 5-7 days is sufficient enough. Then after speaking with the other party they were supposed to be called again to confirm their response after 3 days. This turned into over another week. The other party agreed and the documents that need signatures were not presented to the other party for almost a month after they said yes!! This is unacceptable! Then, they filed Orange County paperwork in POLK county!! They did not ever fix this! I was calling and emailing weekly. At least 2x a week and at first they kept telling me there was a filing error that needed to be fixed with the clerk. (Filing in the wrong county) then towards the end of June they just stopped responding to me. They filed the documents on 5/17 and I had to hire another lawyer the second week in July because AJay never fixed their mistake. They kept telling me it was transferred and it was not! I had to call Orange County clerk myself to confirm there was no transfer in order to get AJay to dismiss the case! Which he told me on a Thursday in July it was going to be prepared and filed! It was not! It took him till the following Monday to actually dismiss the case in Polk county! Don't say you're going to do something and not do it! Terrible service and the office staff was rude to me also towards the end. Like I'm annoying them when I'm just trying to get them to do their JOBS!! Beware!

We were not notified nor given a new point of contact. Overall, not just the lack of communication, I feel we did not receive professional quality representation nor did I feel valued as a client. I literally had to reach out to Pendas himself at least twice to get a reply from someone. I feel the firm constantly fumbled responsibilities and constantly blamed others in the firm rather than taking accountability and providing quality performance. I really wouldn't suggest this firm. Too stressful and a helpless feeling of isolation at a time of despair after being a victim of a car accident. Definitely feel they all could have done better. Not just with communication but also final outcome. Another party of the same accident with a different firm had a totally different experience.
