This is a super fun thrift store in idyllwild where can find plenty of treasures and fabulous deals! The place is huge and is unique in that part of its store is out door, offering a hybrid shopping experience. The shops are separated by sections. There are areas specified for furniture, appliances, kitchenware, clothes, decor, toys and more. Inside they have a higher end boutique style area. They also have super special saving deal days with 20-50% off. My only issue is that the craft, toy and baby clothes are minimal. read more

This is a special place, Koodos, On my last few visits, over the past month, i had the chance to see how out of the way they go to help those in need of serious help, a week ago the Cashier a (tranny) was such a sweet Guy-Irl, he just loved the outfit i chose, and over the weekend the heavy set mask wearing girl with glasses cashier whom obviously had a mental deficiancy, was so helpful, she was very slow but managed to keep up, was not much into math but, that doesnt matter. This is a place to bring the F amily.. 2 thumbs up for hiring those in true need of help, we have my vote. !! read more

I stop by this thrift store every time I visit idyllwild and have found some of my favorite pieces from this store. The prices are more that I would expect from a thrift but they often run 50% off sales at the end of the month which is awesome! If you look hard you can find some treasures. This is more like is a hybrid thrift store/garage sale. Thankfully they have things organized into sections and sheds/buildings so it is definitely possible to shop selectively. There are a wide range of things from shoes (mostly worn) to craft items, bedding, clothing and vintage items/antiques. Prices were a bit steep to me for the quality of the items being offered but I went on a sale day where everything was marked 50% off so I still purchased a few items. The staff were friendly. They accept credit cards and Apple Pay. Parking is sufficient. read more

Awesome selection! Friendly staff! Lovely atmosphere and you can't beat Thrifting in nature! A must stop for finding the gems!

It is a store with several small buildings. We visited May 2023, and April 2024, and last time store had more items than this time. Interestingly they had a note saying that they do not accept donations that day. I wonder why they do this despite that their inventory is low and we saw at least 3 volunteers there at a time. Anyway, we found couple of things. The one I was happy to find was silver plated foldable cake tray for 12 dollars. It looked a bit rusty and of course tarnished, but cleaned up nicely with baking soda and alluminum foil. i also got pants from 1 dollar cabin, and 5 dollar t-shirt tunic. A friend brought me to this thrift store today and let me tell you... I was not ready for this. I (sorry but this is true) never thought such a small town would have such a huge collection of EVERYTHING! We started off outside and went around the whole property. I ended up leaving with pretty much a whole new wardrobe including shoes, jackets, sweaters, shirts, and pajamas. I also found a beautiful picture that goes perfectly in my livingroom. I was pretty upset that I accidentally left my phone at home so I couldn't take pictures for you. The superstar of this establishment is CHARLIE! He is a young 70 something man and is a total sweetheart! So helpful, funny, and just an all out nice guy. I will definitely be back again especially after finding out all of the proceeds from this place goes to helping feed the elderly and shut ins of the community. That really helped with the sting of spending $105 at a thrift store. Thank you for such a clean place especially for being outdoors. Go and support your local Mountain community. What makes this an amazing thrift store? 1. The money goes to helping members of the community. 2. They have a great selection of this-and-that at VERY reasonable prices. 3. The people that work there are cheerful, fun, and hard working, not to mention very creative. Just see the pics! We love shopping here for I'll-Know-It-When-I-See-It things as well as searching for those special treasures that We-Don't-Know-How-We-Ever-Got-By-Without-This! The people that work here are so talented and take great pains to put things out in an attractive way to make shopping here fun. If you go there and they don't have what you need, then they'll have something you want. If they don't have anything you want, come back tomorrow (or later today) and they will! We also like donating our no longer wanted things to the Help Center because we know it's appreciated. They do have outside fundraising events to show off their things and get the community involved. I will miss going to the Help Center now that I am downsizing and selling my cabin. I have been in this community on a part time basis as far back as 1987 and the Help Center has been the Town's Diamond in the Rough. I plan to come up for occasional visits and stay in the village center so I can walk to the Help Center. Julia, Charlie and the rest of the crew which includes some very dedicated volunteers are SAINTS. The time and energy they donate for the less fortunate in town is truly priceless and admired by many. They are the best of the best of humanity along with everyone else who give a lot more than they take from this world. read more

This is the most frustrating place that I have ever tried to help. It seems like such a great place, but the staff is rude and resents helping you unload; no one can find a brochure or card to tell you how to donate cash or learn more about their organization and the best part, after the volunteers grudgingly help you unload or tell you to just "throw it on the pile" they start going through it themselves to see if there is anything they want. They barely talk to you and never never say thank you. Unbelievable! read more

Husband and I moved up here from Corona, CA 7yrs. ago. This little community Idyllwild Help Center (Thrift Store) is such a GEM in the beautiful San Jacinto mountains. Great people, Julia the manager is super Cool, and kindest people you'll ever meet. Her staffs Charley(so cool) and volunteers like Lorie & Jean has fantastic personalities that you'd think you always knew them, down to earth genuine people. Love their settings, very clean and you'll find some treasure all the time. Fantastic bargains and the nicest people to sell them to you! I am a local in Idyllwild and I drop by frequently on way to pick up the mail as items are coming in all the time and go out at quickly as they come in. If you don't see what you need one day, it might very well be there the next! The money goes to help those in Idyllwiild, what could be nicer. Julie, the manager, has made some great changes. Olivia, Ray, Charlie and Ben are all so helpful as well. If you are a local and have an hour or two to help them in sorting it would be wonderful. YOU won't regret your time spent there. They are not accepting donations on Tuesday or Wednesday to give themselves a couple of days to catch up with sorting and placing out for sale. read more
