I started the process by making an appointment online which was super quick and easy. I selected this location because I work 6 minutes away from Texas Breeze Addison. The PA called me before heading that way to let me know a few medicines they were out of so I wouldn't waste my time and I greatly appreciated that effort. Thankfully, I wasn't interested in that anyways. After walking in, the receptionist took care of my check in process. It took less than 5 minutes and honestly my wait was less than 3 minutes. A day later and I'm already turning a corner and starting to feel better. The NP took my vitals, listened to my concerns, and ensured all of my information was accurate in the system. She explained that one person was in from of me then the PA would be in to take care of me. The PA came in and listened to my concerns, and suggested a great plan for me that made the most sense. The entire process was super quick and easy. I walked in the clinic at 8:45 and I walked out at 9:20. The facility was incredibly clean as well and it looked emasculate.

I went to this urgent care center with a severe sinus infection with teeth hurting, headache, massive infected sinus mucus, etc. The experience I received was BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL !!! ALL of the staff were extremely professional and so nice that it made me wish I could make this my primary care center, & even asked them if that was possible!! My wait time was minimal, especially compared to every other urgent care clinic that I have been to. The Outside of this Location at: 15810 Midway Rd. Addison, Tx 75001 has a normal business look, however the Inside of the Location is Extremely Clean & Well Organized, with very comfortable, cushioned, waiting chairs, situated in front of a large flat screen TV and coffee station. The Nurse? Nicole, that took my vitals, and performed Covid, Flu, & Strep test swabs, and also later assisted me with getting the steroid shots, and patiently answering all of my many questions, etc., showed me Absolute Respect, Care, & Kindness, as did all of the front reception staff, and Real Medical Doctor!!! The REAL (MD) DOCTOR, & Center Director, that treated me, Dr. Darien R Kavasmaneck, was so Thorough with the exam & questions asked, that I was left speechless (which rarely happens, lol)! He asked me detailed questions, after first checking my medical history, and then thoroughly examined me. He then prescribed, a strong antibiotic which has a history of working very well for me (Amoxicillin & Clavulanate Potassium) along with steroid shots (of Prednisone and Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate) and Explained Every Aspect of what he was prescribing and why. I felt during this whole experience that I was the only patient in the center with absolute care and attention being given to me, throughout the entire process!!! I even had questions (of course) that my mind came up with afterwards, so he came back into the room and spent even more time with me!!! ***** I've read a few low star reviews (out of many more 5 star reviews) and almost didn't choose this location. I now Believe that they were possibly disgruntled people that most likely were more upset with employer requirements and chose the urgent care center to vent out against unfairly, instead of their place of employment, or were in bad moods and exaggerated the truth to "get" at someone. In the end, I can only speak for sure about my personal experience, as I have done, which in NO WAY resembles these few bad reviews, in any way! ***** I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is!!! Sydney, the OR nurse, came in right before the surgery, to double check on everything! There was one more nurse whose name I didn't get, but he gave us all the post op stuff and explained things wonderfully. I was so thankful for all the love and kindness. She said, "we only file on your primary coverage ". I asked why they include a blank to add a secondary coverage if they won't file it. She said, "oh, I guess we do file it." The wait was about 2 hours and the doctor and medical assistant were nice. They are the only reason I gave 2 stars. Fast forward 2 months and my credit card is charged on Christmas Day. I was getting ready to cancel my credit card when I saw what I assumed to be a fraudulent charge. Called CareNow customer service and spoke with a kind representative. I explained the issue and she said, " okay this is going to be a lengthy explanation." Seemed to me this is something she has to explain frequently. Turns out, they keep your credit card on file for one year after your appointment and can charge up to $180 without your explicit consent because somewhere in the paperwork you complete when you are sick or injured and in need of urgent care, you sign a form that grants them ongoing access to your credit card. She told me I should have received an email notifying me of the charge. I searched all my email mailboxes and the only email from CareNow was reminding me that they are available during holiday emergencies. The representative offered to remove my credit card so they cannot do this again. I asked for her to do that and she said that they will now be required to send me a statement in the mail, if there is any additional balance due. Pretty skeezy practice that I bet few people are aware of!

I'm seriously considering a letter to the Board questioning her ability to meet "standard of care". The last time I was ignored after multiple calls, I had to show up in person to get a response. I'm done. Actively looking for an alternative PCP and recommending patients stay away for medical care. I do not use her aesthetics business, so I cannot comment on that part of her business. Dr. Reihsen was made aware of this problem when it first arose and chose to do nothing about it. I sincerely hope this review makes her reconsider for the benefit of her remaining patients.
