They sent an inspector out to see the furnace which was fine but didn't notify me that someone was coming, but he thought I had been notified. I was told by the salesman that I would receive paperwork for a $350 rebate from the gas company and the warranty paperwork for the furnace when it was installed. But instead I was told it would be sent the following week. When it wasn't I called and was told it was in the mail. Another week passed and I called again, this time I was told that they had been busy and just mailed it that day. No apology for the delay or inconvenience, or the fact that what I was told the week before wasn't correct. Perhaps I shouldn't have paid the bill in full till I got all the paperwork which naturally anyone would want, so you can get the rebate and so when I sell the house I will have proof warranty for the new owner. But as I said the men who actually did the work were very good at their jobs.

This is a 25 year old unit. A new one is only about $1000. I was not pleased. Btw, the tech said, Let try the board first...which to me means he really did not know what was wrong and of course there could be more money involved if the board is ok.
