Recently we purchased a warehouse here in Glendale. The warehouse is a old building that we are transforming into a dance studio/ Ballroom. California state and Glendale City building and safety codes entitle Building to have an NFPA13 fire sprinkler system. Overall, we are happy with the work of this company. We had an emergency sprinkler leakage at our building and we tried calling several companies before we actually got someone. We then had a horrible experience with another company and late on Friday night I called Ifire and spoke to Arbi. He answered and was willing to schedule us in last minute for the following day. We are the owners of a condominium here in Glendale. we were remodeling our kitchen including our living room and needed our drop ceiling to be raised about 8 inches. In the ceilings we had about nine pendent sprinkler heads that needed to be cut, adjusted and shortened to be flush with the new ceiling. In order to do so we had to cut the hangers and also raise the main line supplying the sprinklers. I found myself in unexpected circumstances with a corroded guage that threatened to burst. Yelp had lots of positive comments about Arbi and he definitely lived up to his reputation! He did his first assessment via photos I texted him...which enabled him to be more informed and prepared before he even showed up. He operated with kindness, authority and, most importantly, integrity! Arbi encouraged me to have him also update a pipe attached to the guage that was substandard and not-to-code workmanship. He said it wouldn't cost much now, but would save tons of heartache in the future. Additionally, he noticed that there was a potential recall issue with the emergency sprinkler heads that had been installed and told me to follow up b/c I could likely get them replaced for free...which also would avoid insurance claim issues that could arise in an emergency, should my system not be up to code. Manager here and one of our older buildings with an automatic wet fire sprinkler system installed in the building tenant parking area, located in west Los Angeles, Ca. An oversize truck had entered the parking and struck a 1 inch pipe hung over head, as a result of the strike, the fitting on the pipe cracked and caused a pressurized water leak shooting all over the vehicles parked. Call that the guys that I fire protection late Saturday night and told him it was an emergency they were able to have one of their technicians come out well prepared with all the tools and pipes needed in order to complete the job. Took about two hours to put the system on test, drain the pipe change the cracked fitting Re-Arm The System, and completed job with absolutely no problem.
