I went back and paid extra to upgrade to an OLED screen, but that replacement didn't even last a few months before the display started failing. Eventually, the screen went completely black. When I returned to have it checked, I was told there was nothing they could do because the warranty had expired. No solutions were offered or help. I had to beg for the gentleman to open it up to at least take a look if anything was loose. Just a suggestion to pay for another new screen and "see what happens." Prior to taking my phone apart he cautioned about possible side effects/loss of function with switching out the screen with alternatives built in the phone to circumvent that. He gave it a shot and of course certain screen features were affected as described earlier.Once I explained to him that I did not like the alternatives he gladly replaced my broken screen then explained to me technically what I would need to avoid those changes when getting a new screen. He even pointed me to the right direction on how to get the service I was looking for.
