if i could give them a zero i would.... reckless and…read moreirresponible..... severe lower back issue...... after getting mri i call them per doctors recommendation... meet with the therapist...we talk...it's cordial then he has be do some exercises.... mind you lower back pain that radiates down your back, into your thigh, calf, foot and of course lower back is still tender.... then he has me do some exercises......the pain climbs and is getting serious......then i ask, did you read the mri report? the answer was, we don't have it! i ask if they will get it, after all it was a $4000 mri....seemed all old guys have the same problem and they are all treated the same... this was on a thursday late in the day. monday at 4:30 pm i get a nasty phone call from the office, advising i missed my appointment fot 4 pm.....and i better show up for my wednesday and friday appointment. this is all news to me, nobody set and appointment with me, everyone up front already went home when i left with the therapist on thursday..... then i ask if the got a copy of the doctors report on the mri, that was a big inconvienece for her majesty on the phone. she agreed to do it then call to set an appointment with me. never did and it's been almost weeks. needless to say, the pain and tightness is still with me, but next week i have another appointment with an office that gets a copy of the mri. as far as this place goes, i'm done with them.

I'm done with disrespectful doctors who treat people like second-class citizens. We aren't impressed that you went to medical school if you never learned empathy, kindness, compassion, or how to treat another human being with respect. Apparently Dr. Stepanenko either wasn't taught, or doesn't believe in, bedside manner. Because she has none. I watched her treat the medical assistant like he was beneath her right in front of me. I watched her back a lot too, since she spent much of the appointment sitting and typing at the computer rather than looking her patient in the eyes. She couldn't seem to remember what she said to my face by the time she turned around to type it five seconds later, then was rude to the medical assistant when he did his best to remember for her as she demanded he repeat what she had just said so she could enter it into her laptop. When she asked me what had worked for me in the past related to the issue I was experiencing, she yelled at me that she doesn't prescribe some of those things. I didn't care whether she did or didn't. I was simply answering her question, yet she responded with a level of hostility and contempt that was shocking. She never properly examined me or put her hands on me to determine what might be going on. Instead, she made a series of assumptions and ordered unnecessary tests. I know those assumptions were entirely inaccurate because I went to see another practitioner who helped me resolve the issue in a single appointment with no testing needed, and who was appalled when I shared my experience with Dr. Stepanenko. Her behavior was unacceptable and inexcusable. I will never return to Jaffe. It has become a revolving door of doctors, and patients deserve better. I will go out of my way to save others from wasting their time here. I sincerely hope you don't waste yours.

I understand why Elite wants to do this, they can charge insurance and the client for random PT services. I don't understand how it benefits the client, since there's no PT plan, no regular training and instruction and no assessment towards a therapy goal. One doctor even suggested a hip replacement. Thankfully, a friend of mine who is a retired Physical Therapist recommended I try Berman Physical Therapy--and I'm so glad I did. My PT, Ryan, is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He listens carefully and takes my pain seriously. Thanks to his expertise and the support of the entire team at Berman, my pain has been significantly reduced. I finally feel like I have my life back. While some of the treatments weren't always comfortable, they were absolutely effective--and worth it. Ryan also gives me tailored exercises to do at home, and they've made a noticeable difference. After my first hour of therapy with them it was sore but they freed it up a bit. The doctor then stated he thinks i should be seen 5 times a week for the next 6 weeks for a package deal totaling over $9000. Seemed super excessive. And my 60 minute visit turned out to be 50 minute. They started 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. After my first visit and doing some home pt and laps in the pool, i felt 90% the next day. I think its a crime when they try and sell you $9000 worth of sessions when you may just need 1 or 2 or 5. I was not in a car accident with multiple injuries. On top of this they do not take credit cards. Nor do they do the electro therapy or even finish with a hot heat pad. On top of this, the therapist hadn't used or was in need of deodorant which made the 1 hour session difficult. They put earning the almighty dollar first. This is a huge lack of integrity and is becoming more common place. I do not recommend them

It's been 2 months to the day that I had emergency hip surgery after falling in a parking lot…read more Dr. Hanypsiak from Physicians Regional Medical center conducted the surgery perfectly. I had already scheduled rotator cuff and bone spur surgery with him as well. Unfortunately, the Home physical therapist was terrible and I developed a crippling limp and my leg would swing out to the left with each step. I fired that company just before the shoulder surgery. Dr. Hanypsiak who did an amazing job recommended Collins Physical Therapy Institute who I have been working with now for 3 weeks. They have already corrected my limp and leg swing! Furthermore my arm can go over my head due to their wonderful physical therapy. Okay yes it hurts, but it'll be real soon that I am back to normal again. I am grateful for being in such competent hands - literally!

MISSED DIAGNOSIS:( I was experiencing episodes of positional vertigo, and my diagnosis was NOT…read morecaught at the Bonita Springs office. I tested negative for BPPV in the POSTERIOR canal, which is common 90% of the time, told I didn't have BPPV and sent home. The vertigo continued and I followed up with a neurologist who tested me positive and told me the PT didn't know what he/she was doing. I visited another PT who tested me for both horizontal AND posterior BPPV (which is less common) and I tested positive for posterior. He then treated the posterior vertigo successfully. The Fyzical therapist was lovely, but perhaps inexperienced causing me two additional appointments (and co-pays) and an additional two weeks of dizziness. The receptionist who called for a follow-up was NOT sympathetic or apologetic and would not consider refunding my co-pay. Frustrating:(
