Cette épicerie est trop chère et très peu variée. De nombreux articles du magasin n'ont pas d'étiquette de prix.

Went there with my brother and sat at the bar. Bartender/server whose name escapes me (Eric? Tall dude with curly hair and a stache) poured excellent cocktails, was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and food and kept our glasses full. We ordered the seafood tower, the Crab toast, and the octopus. They were all obscenely good. Good bottle of wine and too much amaro at the end. Got to meet Chuck Hughes. He was super nice and fun to chat with. The rest of the staff, although not directly "responsible" for us, were taking care of business. Helping each other, making others aware of what is needed at other tables, and all trying their very best to make everyone's night as wonderful as possible. Everyone we came across seemed happy to be there. Ownership should be proud. Thanks for the awesome night. We will be back!

We were shown to our table, which was near the entrance in the perfect spot. I loved how they have a curtain at the entrance, so that although it felt like -20 with the windchill, we didn't notice once when people entered or exited. Our waitress introduced herself right away and took our cocktail orders. When she delivered our drinks, she explained how the chef's tasting menu worked and left us for a few minutes to decide which option we would like. We chose 'tier 3' which included a pasta course and extra caviar. Everything we had was amazing, from the seafood tower, to the beef carpaccio, to the hanger steak. It was so much food, we thought we would all burst by the end. The waitress was outstanding and was completely engaged with us throughout the evening. She added so much to our experience. We opted for the wine pairings and she gave us 3 wines as well as an amaro at the end. All in all, it was a meal to remember with a price tag of just under $2,000. Well worth it. We highly recommend this for a special occasion dinner.

Also, sometimes the restaurant go by the name of Restaurant Epik, like on the credit card receipt. I ordered the chowder. The menu said it's lobster chowder but the waiter informed me it's clam chowder that day. Portion size is quite reasonable for that price. But there was a small piece of clam shell left in my soup. The dessert however was a bit pricey. I could get a better slice of cake from The Keg at that price. The environmental was alright. It was slightly on the cold side because it's at the front of the hotel. The chair wasn't great because the padding was a bit thin. Staff was nice and was prompt.

The drinks were off, the cosmo was sour and we could not finish the mai tai - yes it was that bad. Perhaps we should have to ease the pain. The appetizer arrived a little late but not terribly so - calamari which was good but it came with about 8 pieces -- a little small but at least it was good. Then we waited... and waited... and waited. Other tables that were sat after us, way after us, all received their food. It took about an hour -- one whole hour between the appetizer and entree. We got our food, fish and chips and mussels -- they were both acceptable so let's get that out of the way. The other two dishes were the braised beef and we asked that the fries be upgraded to a poutine and then a salad with chicken add on. The beef came with fries and not poutine, so they had to fix that. We tried the beef... it was salty, as salty as the dead sea. It was awful and inedible. We thought it was perhaps the sauce, but it was not as we tried to dig into the middle of the cut, but it was still salty. The poutine was salty as well but that might have been acceptable if the beef were not over salted. The adventure of the salad was not any better. Asked for the dressing on the side and the salad was covered in the dressing. It came without the chicken so they took it back. It came nearly 20 minutes later, after everyone else finished their entrees -- 20 minutes to prepare a fried chicken breast. Cannot tell you whether it was good or bad as we told them we would not take it. They did the right thing and did not charge us for this entree, but that was it, no other real apologies. Do not come here if you value your time or your money or your general sanity. Disappointing.

The Keg was the perfect spot for a night out catching up with old friends in Montreal…read more My party was seated immediately upon arrival (I had a reservation) which set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable evening. We were fortunate enough to have Alex as our server, and he truly elevated the entire experience. He was knowledgeable, personable, and did an excellent job walking us through the menu and offering recommendations and specials. After hearing his suggestions, I decided on the Snow Crab Cluster paired with a Sirloin, baked potato, and a side of whisky peppercorn sauce. It was a fantastic choice. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, the crab was fresh and flavorful, and the whisky peppercorn sauce tied the steak together beautifully. The drinks were equally impressive, and the wine pours were generous enough that I definitely felt I was getting good value. What stood out most, however, was the service. Alex was attentive throughout the meal, ensuring everything arrived correctly and that our glasses never sat empty. Between the excellent food, delicious drinks, and outstanding hospitality, I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the evening reconnecting with my friends. The Keg delivered on every level, and I'd gladly return the next time I'm in Montreal. Thank you!

Both were refreshing and easy to sip. All four of us opted for the three-course dinner, which included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. For appetizers, two of us had the cod croquettes and grilled chorizo. I chose the grilled sardines and also added an order of grilled calamari. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. For our main courses, two of us ordered the fish and seafood rice, one chose the grilled octopus, and my husband selected the catch of the day, which was tuna. Every dish was expertly seasoned, flavorful, and very satisfying. For dessert, two of us enjoyed the flan while the other two chose the chocolate mousse. Both desserts were excellent and provided the perfect ending to a memorable meal. Our cousins also ordered espresso, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The hospitality was exceptional. Our server, Jaden was warm, courteous, attentive, and genuinely easy to talk to. The owner and chef, Luis, also stopped by our table to check on us. He was gracious, down-to-earth, and incredibly welcoming. His kindness made us feel less like customers and more like guests in his own home. The décor and atmosphere created a comfortable and inviting setting for a relaxing dinner with family. From the delicious food to the outstanding hospitality, every aspect of our experience was enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return the next time we visit Montreal.

Our server Alex was super chill and attentive, and one of the owners, Melanie, came by and was incredibly kind. We even got the chance to speak with the chef, which made the whole experience feel really personal. Food-wise, everything was fresh and full of flavor. The spicy shrimp were a standout so delicious, I'd go back just for those. I had the turbot (yes, it's a real fish ) and it was cooked perfectly. The potatoes on the side were also amazing. We also had a seafood medley with rice (loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, salmon, cod basically everything) and it was super saucy and satisfying. Drinks were on point too loved my old fashioned. To finish, we had a porto-braised pear with ice cream and it was honestly the perfect dessert. Beautiful location, especially if you can grab a window seat. Definitely a spot we'll be going back to.
