Delays ,excuses and Useless and Deceptive repair service on my IPad. I called a few stores and chose Igeeks because they promised overnight repair. The screen had cracked while I was traveling and it was replaced there. I discovered when I returned that the microphone was not working. I took it in to Igeeks on the scheduled day, when parts were to be available. Called to pick up the next day and was told there was a problem with repair and they would work on it to pick up the next day. This continued for 10 DAYS! One day I visited the store to resolve the issue and it was CLOSED DURING POSTED BUSINESS HOURS. They often did not return my daily calls. They provided various technical, involved reasons for the delay. Felt like I was being swamped. Finally after extensive discussions (when I was able to speak to them by phone) they said the microphone was working and it was ready to pick up. I paid the service charge and the cost. When I tried it at home the microphone STILL DIDN'T WORK. Frustrated, I took it to an Apple Store where I was told that the microphone repair was not possible on a screen! So my option was to purchase a new IPad and get a recycling discount for the one I relinquished. Results: the price of a new IPad + the charges for an unsuccessful repair. Although I hadn't initially intended to use iGeeks' services, their business practices have had a noticeable impact on my daily routine: Working at Mainline CBD, right beside iGeeks in the Exton Mall, I've become privy to some of their past issues. I've been informed by coworkers about instances of loud arguments and disturbances at their store, which reportedly spilled over into our shared area, causing discomfort for us and our neighboring businesses. Another recurring concern is their lack of punctuality. Frequently, their customers approach me, inquiring about their delays. I used to attempt to explain, but the frequency of these encounters has led me to abandon such efforts. It appears they place little importance on timeliness. Regarding customer interactions, there's room for improvement. Their approach often seems detached from customer concerns, giving the impression that profit takes precedence over customer satisfaction. Recalling my own experience, I once visited iGeeks to have my camcorder repaired. Regrettably, the person in charge was engrossed in a phone conversation and didn't attend to my needs, which felt dismissive. To summarize, while I had no intention of engaging with iGeeks directly, their practices have indirectly affected our work environment near them. Addressing their punctuality and enhancing their approach to customer interactions would contribute to a more harmonious atmosphere at the Exton Mall. I'm asking people to stay away from this specific location for purely selfish reasons, I'm tired of assisting customers that are not mine. I do not work for igeeks, I should not have to be the one that makes sure their business is functional every day or investigate why it's dysfunctional. read more

Dave is an unusual tech. He explained all possible issues than after in replaced the battery in my 6 he explained how to charge up my phone. It is working beautifully and Dave is so special. Wow the night my laptop fell out the bag it cracked and bent. I got it like 3 days before it happened I was pissed !so iGeeks repair in Exton Square Mall actually did a terrific job at this! Motorola phone front camera was blurred went into shop and tech said he could fix it replace the camera in an hour while we shopped. Had to pay for the service and part order up front. Waited 3 weeks to arrive. Went back to mall and dropped off the phone and a contact cell number. Walked the mall patiently for 3 hours with no call? Went back to shop to check in and tech said he may damage the screen so we needed to also buy that part??? Why not let us know that when we dropped it off? So we ask for refund on service but they won't refund the camera part. So now I have a broken phone, spare camera, and wasted half my sunday? Bizarro world it was. Buyers beware. read more

On Sunday I went to the Exton Mall to visit the igeeks repair kiosk. They now have a store but it wasn't open and it was 11:30am. They didn't arrive until after 12:00 noon. I explained to the manager that I had a battery installed on January 26 2019. Sunday was May 12 2019. And my phone was just shutting off after being fully charged. And the iPhone diagnosis was the battery was degraded. Without even looking at the phone or reading the system diagnostics. He proceeded to tell me the warranty was only for 30 days and that he would do nothing for me. If the battery you use is so bad that you only trust it to work for 30 days then maybe you shouldn't be using them. I am a very dissatisfied customer and feel that I was ripped off by a con. Which almost was criminal. read more

This place is horrible. There is no quality control checks. They don't deal with customers well. They are more worried about themselves then the customer. If you have a problem they want you to go buy another screen and they will make you pay for both screens. They will replace a screen they messed up if you want your old screen back. So if you want horrid service and to waste $100 bucks go ahead use them. read more

Definitely a fast process but have yet to get my phone to working order. Cracked my screen brought it to igeeks. Prior to bringing it in my glass was cracked but the phone itself was fully functional with zero issues on how it actually performed. Post igeeks, I have to hit numbers and letters multiple times for it to react. Phone freezes. Now on my second screen from these guys because the first they installed was apparently faulty. The second one is worse than the first. Stay away! read more

After dropping my iPhone into salt water while crabbing on vacation I headed to iGeeks to get my phone checked out. The technician there was very professional, gave me advice on typical fixes (of which there are not many if there is bad water damage), and then carefully opened up and checked out my phone before doing anything. I was extremely lucky and there appeared to be no damage but he did a complete inspection and looked further to check some deeper components for corrosion. Rather than do any unnecessary work, the tech simply suggested I try to connect my phone to my laptop and sync up. When I was able to download some critical files and all looked good he closed up my phone and didn't charge me anything!! I was extremely lucky and was thankful for the peace of mind so I gave him a tip. Overall he was totally professional, took care with my phone, and let me hang out at the kiosk and download files for as long as I wanted. Great experience. I got the screen of my IPhone 5S repaired 3 weeks ago. A week later, I noticed the screen starting to come loose. I went back to the store and a new screen was put on again. When I got to my car, someone tried to call me, but my phone was not vibrating. I did not think much of it. Someone tried to call me the next day and I realized the vibrate on my phone was not working. Because of my demanding work schedule, I had to wait a week to take it back in. On my third trip to the store, I was told there is nothing they can do for me. Because my phone is old, I should not have had the screen replace and should have bought a new phone. YOU CAN UNDERSTAND MY FRUSTRATION BECAUSE I WAS NOT TOLD THIS THE FIRST 2 TIMES THEY REPLACED MY PHONE SCREEN. I now have a broken phone thanks to iGeeks, I am out $60, AND I have to buy a new phone. Please, please, please rethink using iGeeks if you need your phone repaired. read more

I've used iGeeks in Exton mall a few times to repair a couple of ipad screens that cracked and an iphone with a cracked screen. They also replaced an iphone battery that wasn't charging. They are very knowledgeable about how the phones work. If you need a repair with a quick turnaround, I recommend using them. read more

So I tried fixing my own phone, and I bought a cheap kit off ebay. I spent about two hours working on it, but in the end I bollocksed the screen. So in my desperation I came across this place in the mall. I walked in with my phone in pieces, missing screws, and I thought almost certainly I was missing components as well. A young man was working, and he was so immensely helpful. He didn't treat me like an idiot for failing, and he was able to get my phone back up and running in about 20 minutes. He replaced all the missing screws and even offered me to watch as he worked. Its a great place, and they definitely seem community oriented. read more
