Not to mention that as I was taking back my son's iPad, their employee broke it into many pieces, whereas it had only been a single crack before. Next we tried here. They had the glass in stock. They were $40 less than the other place and they had it fixed in a little over an hour. Crisis averted! Son is happy again! The work is guaranteed for 90 days, in case anything isn't as it should be. The screen had cracked while I was traveling and it was replaced there. I discovered when I returned that the microphone was not working. I took it in to Igeeks on the scheduled day, when parts were to be available. Called to pick up the next day and was told there was a problem with repair and they would work on it to pick up the next day. This continued for 10 DAYS! One day I visited the store to resolve the issue and it was CLOSED DURING POSTED BUSINESS HOURS. They often did not return my daily calls. They provided various technical, involved reasons for the delay. Felt like I was being swamped. Finally after extensive discussions (when I was able to speak to them by phone) they said the microphone was working and it was ready to pick up. I paid the service charge and the cost. When I tried it at home the microphone STILL DIDN'T WORK. Frustrated, I took it to an Apple Store where I was told that the microphone repair was not possible on a screen! So my option was to purchase a new IPad and get a recycling discount for the one I relinquished. Results: the price of a new IPad + the charges for an unsuccessful repair. AND the inconvenience caused by Igeeks delays and excuses. Beware!
