I just recently decided to come back here after being gone for a while to try the pronto lashes and while they were great they only lasted a few hours. At first the application felt great nothing felt pokey or out of place but after a very serious nap I woke up and my lashes are now all gone. Considering the price I paid for something I've done on my own before and how I paid extra for the extended wear adhesive I would've expected them to last more than a day. I first started going to iGlam a few months ago. During that time I went through 4 different technicians because they kept leaving or getting fired. Out of the 4, only one tech was able to successfully put lashes that had any sort of retention. I was loosing fans left and right within the first week. Additionally, towards the end, I had a bunch of bald spots. Only to find out recently (I had to find a new tech), they have terrible lash isolation when placing the extension. So I have about 4-5 of my own eyelashes stuck to a single fan. Honestly, it's not worth the price. The staff is nice but I have never had my eyelashes in this state or not been able to see the same person consistently. Obviously there are some issues with this business and I hope they figure it out because it looks very cute and aesthetic. All in all, keep looking, if you find another place that costs a little more go there. I promise you'll be happier and probably still have your eyelashes in tact. read more

Love going here to get my lashes done with Anasia. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and it's nice and clean inside as well. They offer snacks and water at a little table, and have many options of things you can buy for lashes, brows, etc. I also like that when you get your lashes done there's a curtain so you have more privacy, so it feels more comfortable and relaxing. Now that my lash tech has left, I feel that I can write a review comfortably. This business is definitely about getting customers in and out as fast as possible, whether they are satisfied or not. Multiple times while I was trying to relax during my lash service was my technician harassed to take walk-ins over her clients. I mean a simple fact that the last time I was there that it took me saying I will pay additional money if you leave the room and stop asking her to take this walk-in when she wants to finish my lashes this time. Last time I was apologized to, for being rushed out for another walk in. What's the point of scheduling an appointment and paying for an additional 15 minutes of time if you were going to harass your lash technicians to hurry up with their clients who went ahead and booked appointments instead of the walk-ins who should be OK to wait. I will not be returning as my lash technician has left and I will be following her business because the only reason why I continue to come back was for how amazing Brooke was. I watched you guys abuse her and I hope you don't treat your other employees that way. I honestly don't even wanna get into the eyebrow situation. These people are really just after the money and do not care about you being happy or not. Left with massive brown blocky brows. I scheduled for tint. Asked for blonde. Understand there was and issue with the product and me not having full enough eyebrows. Didn't matter the technician just wanted the money so she proceeded anyway. I told her I wanted them thin and blonde and was left with very dark blocky brows. Not to mention because I didn't have a lot of eyebrow hair instead of her stopping and expressing the service won't work, she filled in all of the gaps with an eyebrow pencil. This was a $75 service. It was a waste of time waste of money. She continued to rush me and tell me that she had another client waiting and how this was taking too long. Over it. Won't be back. Stop playing on people's faces. Treat your employees better because your technicians are who keep your business going and when you continue to disrespect them and their clients, they will leave. Let me start off by saying that iGlam is a vibe! From the time you walk in till the time you leave! This was my second visit to iGlam and I can say that it is one of the best, if not the best, lash studio in Jax. Setting up an appointment is super quick and easy. You can do it online or by phone. Also, if you have any questions you can simply call and they will answer any questions you may have. As you can see it is very aesthetically pleasing from the moment you walk in. They have a super cute pink sofa with irresistible treats in site! The studio is super clean! They do still require masks to be worn at all times but this wasn't an issue for me. I booked my hybrid fill with Rana and she was so sweet! She was very friendly and a great conversationalist. I'll be back to visit her! She did my lashes so well! Anna is the QUEEN of lashes!! I see her weekly because I am a fanatic about keeping my lashes nice and full, but I could easily go 3 weeks without a fill. Classic, hybrid, volume, she slays every set. If you follow their Instagram, you can see that she truly enjoys her craft. Professional, kind, very gentle throughout the entire appointment; "lash naps" are almost guaranteed every time. However, what is really remarkable about Anna is that she puts the health of your lashes above everything. She will customize your gorgeous lashes based on the strength and length of what your natural lashes can handle. I thoroughly enjoy the result each time without redness or irritation. Do yourself a favor and get your eyes blessed by Anna! Also as a general request, I would really love if iGlam began offering colored lashes! I've been getting my lashes done w/ iGlam for a few months now. Even though I've had some positive experiences with the lash artists/ reception staff, I've been completely blown away with the lack of organization and professionalism. I had a lash appointment today that I scheduled for 1:10pm. It's been pretty difficult for me to schedule appointments at iGlam recently due to my work schedule and the fact that all of their lash artist keep on quitting or have limited availability. I was able to take a little time off in my work day for my 1:10pm appointment. When I arrive I'm informed that my appointment is actually at 1:25pm. I check my email to make sure I scheduled the appointment for the correct time. I had in fact scheduled my appointment for 1:10pm. I then checked my phone records to see if maybe iGlam had attempted to reach out to reschedule. Nothing. I ended up coming back to work late because I was not anticipating my appointment being rescheduled without my knowledge or consent. I've had previous appointments cancelled with less then 24 hour notice. I've had a lash artist show up 15 minutes late for my appointment and then rush me out because she had an appointment after me that was now also late due to her own tardiness. Needless to say I wont be back. The lashes themselves are hit or miss and not worth all the hassle. Sometimes the quality of work is great, other times not so much. Whether it be LaToya, who is at the Atlanta location, or Charnaé in Jacksonville, both women are fantastic at what they do and are so sweet. There is a clean and sterile environment, nice ambiance, friendly staff, and prices you just can't beat. I first received the Classic Full Set and typically come in every two weeks for fill-ins. Scheduling is never an issue and the staff members always respond quickly. I love love love seeing women come into my place of work and thanking me for showing them iGlam because they are so happy with their results! There's not many places in Jacksonville that is amazing at anything they do. Most often the service is mediocre and you'll only find a handful of businesses that are really good at what they are selling. There is a limited selection of (or if any) places that offer different cultural cuisine/restaurants, good hairstylists/nail salons/barbers, entertainment, foreign grocery stores, shopping malls/department stores, etc. however I am happy to say that when it comes to lash/brow cosmetics, I have finally found a place that's good in skill and customer service. After reviewing their photo gallery, I decided to make an appointment for lash extensions. My first appointment was with Sara who did a phenomenal job. She was personable, friendly and most importantly experienced/skillful. My second appointment was three weeks later for a fill-in. Sadly to say Sara no longer worked there and a recently Certified technician did my fill-in. I was skeptical at first but the receptionist reassured me that everyone there is good. However this was not the case, her work was not up to par and she seemed unwilling to correct the imperfections of the fill-in. I wasn't planning on returning to iGlam but after emailing my disappointment, the owner Charnae reached out to me and offered a complimentary touch-up session. My touch-up was done my Deanna, who too was friendly and skillful. I walked away satisfied. I want to thank the owner, Charnae for extending proper customer service for an error made on their end. Overall, I will continue my business here. Side note: I understand that skills only develop with experience but what I was most displeased with was her reluctancy to correct her mistakes. I really hate to leave the bad review... especially because the person that did my lashes was so nice. However, I would feel bad not passing this on. My lashes fell out in three days. I'm not joking. My day four... you could not even tell I had anything done. I followed the directions.... did EVERYTHING I was told... and it was just ridiculous that they didn't last. As a comparison... I went to a different person to get them done five days after I had them done at iGlam. (I needed these for an event.) She used a very expensive glue which I would assume is very different than the glue used at iGlam because I'm on day 9 and still have nearly every lash still attached. The difference is so noticeable and actually makes me a bit angry. The other place was more expensive than iGlam BUT I don't mind paying for quality. read more

Geesh...I was really excited about going to iGLAM LAB however my experience was not good. Overall my lash tech Deanna was polite however she scratched the middle of my forehead in the process of applying my lashes. I'm sure it was an accident, but it left a red laceration down the center of my forehead. I've had my lashes done so many times on the west coast, and never had this happen. The worst part is I didn't get an apology. I asked for a $20 discount was informed it cannot be done due to the "manager Charnae not being available." (The manager was in an on-site meeting at the time). My lash tech informed me she can can provide me a "complimentary" eyelash cleanser in this little pink bag for my troubles. Really? I paid for my services plus tip. Providing a tip was foolish on my part!!! I could've used it for the Neosporin/scar cream I purchased after the appointment. However, I try to do right by others and hope for the same in return. The salon is small and they have curtains to keep individuals from seeing in work spaces while you get your services. I asked for my curtain to be closed while I received services; however, employees continued to come in with not so much of a "sorry" or "excuse me" then proceed out without closing the curtain. This is very anxiety-provoking when your eyes are closed. The tech left the room several times and I wasn't sure if she cleaned her hands upon return. I did not like my lashes and was informed I could return the next day if I would like but I would be charged again. I left my phone number for the manager to call me in regards to the laceration, no reply/callback. But no surprise, I paid you all so why bother... FYI the salon is in San Marco & I notice if you are of a darker hue, you are treated "differently." ***REPLY TO OWNER:*** I paid over $135 to include a charge to secure appt day prior. Also woke up this AM with fallen off eyelashes on my cheeks --- I did not expect that. I never stated in my review or in person that a "scratch down the middle of my forehead" was not an issue nor did I state I did not know how it happened --- I definitely stated it was an issue which is why I requested a manager discount via Deanna. The tech willingly admitted her nail caused the injury because they were too long. I did not receive a discount or apology --- my only next option was to pay full amount. Charnae I understand as a owner you would try to "defend" your company, but as a yelp reviewer I speak my piece & the truth (good or bad). I had an appointment with the owner for a lash foreign fill. Being an esthetician I was very disappointed. The owner, Charnae, took a phone call, a FaceTime and repeatedly texted during my appointment. The entire time my eyes were closed and that is extremely uncomfortable having someone FaceTime when you can even see who it is. A total invasion of my privacy. This shouldn't be the standard you are setting for your business. I am paying for your time. I received a volume hybrid fill. One week later, and more than half of the lashes are gone. This is probably the worst fill I've ever had. There was no sealant or anything that she did. Overall this was the worst experience and I would never recommend this place. read more

I was becoming a regular at Iglam. First I saw Gracie. I showed her a picture of what I wanted my eyelashes to look like and she did a wonderful job. Gracie was full so I booked with Shianne for my next visit. I seen Shianne around 4 times I showed her the picture of what I wanted and every single time I came out I had completely different eyelashes. They were so bad the last appointment they comp me a 1 week visit. The last time I went in I sat her down and I made sure she understood what I wanted and when she was done they still were not correct. I was left with gapping in between my eyelashes and eyelashes that were all different directions. I called in and let the receptionist know what had happened. She told me she was going to comp me the 35$ eyelash removal and but she will not comp me on the full set that Shianne messed up which would be 175$ Then the receptionist started talking over me and would not let me speak and was blaming the situation on me. The service I received was terrible. I'm not normally the one to complain or leave reviews but I had to let this be known. Because eyelashes are expensive and you can't do that to someone. Booked an appointment for a full set and tried to switch the appointment to a fill-in for 2 days. I called numerous times and there was no answer at either location. I left a message which again went unanswered! The sign on the Southside location is faded & barely visible from the street but I finally found the inconvenient location and showed up early to explain my situation. Charnae (the lash stylist & OWNER) was rude & snarky from the start. Her response to my calling and message was, "well, nobody is at the front desk today and I don't check the messages". Ok?? As if that's my problem??! She goes on to rudely say that "you're paying for the lash stylists time and now you've inconvenienced my day". Yeah, I'm inconvenienced too by having to repeatedly call! I wanted to leave due to the horrible attitude and service but didn't want to lose my deposit so I chose to suffer through the appointment. I like the work Charnae did but I would advise everybody reading this to avoid iGlam due to the horrible service and poor management! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Update: I posted a review on Google & was called a liar by Charnae who said "I was very nice to you and I request you take your false review down immediately!" Charnae called me repeatedly after I told her stop and explained that I didn't want anything for free, I only wanted the public to be aware! I've gone to iGlam multiple times for brow threads/waxes and lash lift and tints. I've always had a pleasant experience. I love how convenient the San Marco location is. Deanna always does a great job on my brows. She's very quick and consistent with her work. I love the brows and bubbles event! Not even for the free champagne, but the discount price! As far as the experience it was an ok one, I've had my eyelashes done before and it wasn't what I expected at all. My eyes were and still are so sore from whatever it is either the glue or the fumes from the glue or the tape that she had to put so much on my eyelid. I have blonde eyelashes and they are hard to tell and I get that but like I said I've had it done before and never of a big struggle. I understand everyone is different and do there on ways but unfortunately this bad experience due to my eye being so sore and blood shot, I've literally wasted my money and I may have to take the eyelash extensions off. Deanna was the one who did my eyelashes, she was nice and we had conversations that experience was a little better. She was smacking in my ear, she was sucking a mint and eating something else it was kinda annoying to hear but I didn't mention it to her I just wanted to get out of there my back was killing me from the chair. read more

I got my very first set of lash extensions! I have to say that the technician Madison made me very configurable with the process and aftercare info. The place is upscale boutique quality and reasonably priced. I had previously received tinted brows here along with a brow threading. The extensions did take a little over 3 hours and I had just left work so I was knocked out sleep during the process. I may hv even snored lmbo. But Madison was ever the proffesional. I had such high hopes for iGlam, but sadly was disappointed. The women at the front desk are SO nice and everyone there was great, but my lashes were not as full as I hoped they would be (I got the volume hybrid full set and when I went to a friends house afterwards she asked my why I didn't have my lashes on- she couldn't even see them). The tape on my right lower eye lid was placed so that it was poking my eye and today it is completely bloodshot due to that. When I tried opening my eyes when she was done, I had multiple lower lashes stick to my top lashes so she had to take her tweezers to pull them apart (very uncomfortable) and caused my eyes to tear up so that when I went home a bunch of my lashes came right off so now my day old lash extensions look sparse and bad. read more

Cannot comment on quality of the service as it wasn't done on me. I was dropping my girlfriend off and was asked to leave the lobby as the office policy is "no guests waiting" which I find to be very poor business practices. They have a small lobby with no one else waiting and chairs so I'm not real sure what they are even for. Im not going to say they are horrible service wise but Customer Service wise the owner needs a manual on the honor policy. You do not create things without facts. Today they were not honoring what their cancellation policy states. If after 24 hrs you have to just pay the deposit then that is what it is. You dont create clauses because you feel you can. So glad I found iGlam! They are simply the best in Jacksonville. I was new to getting lash extensions and after numerous lash appointments and microblading I wouldn't go anywhere else. All the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. The price is excellent with top notch professional service. I started out with the classic lash set with Sara and loved them. Throughout the process, I learned how to properly care for them and she always treated my lashes with the upmost care. There were times where I wanted longer lashes and was given awesome suggestions to other alternatives that would be healthier and beneficial to my lashes. Plus they always looked great. Now I'm transitioning into the fuller hybrid volume lashes with Charnae. You can say I'm just in love with them and I couldn't be happier! Not to mention, she's is a wonderful business owner that cares about her customers. My lashes are very fine and delicate. I originally wanted to go straight to the volume lashes but Charnae truly took the upmost care and gave me the advice to transition in the hybrid set because it was healthier for my lashes. To me that goes along way because instead of putting on the more expensive lashes that could cause possible damage to my fine and delicate lashes. She took me to a more cost effective and healthier route for my lashes long term. The hybrid set is just beautiful and went beyond my expectations for fuller lashes. Lastly, my microblading experience with Piffany was great at Iglam. She was very knowledgeable and informative on what to expect throughout the whole procedure. I had a lot of uncertainty for years about microblading, but during my consultation and procedure all my reservations were put to rest. I'm now in the final healing stages. After waiting over 45 minutes for my appointment to beginning and an additional 2 and half hours for the installation of the lashes I have to say I was disappointed. First and foremost, after being informed that the lady installing the lashes was going to be late the receptionist phoned the manager and the manager offered $20 off the appointment. Ok, so if I had been waiting maybe 20-30 minutes that would have been acceptable but no I waited 45. That should have been clue number one that this wasn't going to be a good experience. But hey, things happen so I tried to give the benefit of the doubt. Now after the procedure I saw that have many lashes that have nothing on them. Completely missing lashes. Now I'm wondering what took over 2 hours?? AND jus a few hours later I had lashes falling off...not because I was rubbing my eyes or applying water/oil. Just driving down the street and they are falling off. Def not worth the money. You would prolly be better off finding a Groupon somewhere else for much....ok, so update to my review. Experience in the salon was fine until 2 hours into the lash process I opened my eyes to find my eyelashes looking less full and long than when I came in. Scheduled a client transfer appointment as I was coming from out of town and needed to get a refill before a big interview. Treatment took 2 hours and my eyelashes look like there are no extensions on them at all. Cost was 125 and after being worked on for 2 hours I was informed I picked the most basic option when scheduling online and so she gave me those lashes despite the technician noticing I had a much fuller set from my previous appointment at my home salon and me telling the technician that I perfered a very full look. When I called to get a partial refund or fix the manager was extremely rude and hung up on me and refused to give me the owners name or contact information. Bad experience, waste of money and terrible customer service. 0/10 would not recommend. read more
