Being quiet is a rule of thumb for visitors to the library but is expected of the library's employees. Unfortunately this library isn't a good spot to study at though as there are two employees there who shamelessly flirt with each other just about every day. They laugh and bellow so loud that you can't focus on what you're doing even with earphones on. I'm glad they like each other and they have some kind of thing going on. Everyone who spends more than 20 min in the library when they're both working at the front desk knows of them. The issue lies in the common courtesy they don't extend to those who need to use their facilities to study/get things done. If it weren't for the constant chortling and loud laughter from the pair, this would be a great study space.

This campus is great because they offer very low priced dental cleaning. They even offer low priced hair salon and a fine-dining restaurant on campus. (Even the regular old cafeteria food here was superb!) This is a very important thing for us who are not blessed with health insurance, especially in these ridiculous economic times. The only draw back is that these services are only available for very limited hours (only on weekdays when most of us are working). I went here for the radiography program, and my teachers were excellent. The program director was extremely helpful and personable and answered any questions I had about the program or the career.

We were being tested on things we were never properly taught, with no clear rubric or guidance. In clinic, students were expected to perform services like sports massage and prenatal massage without being trained for it, which is a serious safety issue. The environment was unprofessional. I saw teachers disrespect students, have emotional breakdowns, and the program went through multiple instructors. At one point, a student was basically put in a teaching position on Saturdays. That alone shows how unorganized things were. For months, I wasn't properly taught. Most of what I learned came toward the very end, and even then there were still issues with boundaries and professionalism from staff. Paperwork would go missing, students were left confused and stressed, and there was no accountability. On top of that, I personally experienced sexual harassment, which made the environment feel unsafe. I reported this school to the state massage board because of everything that went on. If you're serious about becoming a massage therapist, I strongly suggest looking into other programs.
