Today, I will be reviewing the "Canoe Creek Christian Church's" music performance that they did on September 14th, 2025. This review will cover: The venue and environment, the musicians and singers, the amount of songs they did, the instruments they played, followed by some feedback on what they performed well, and what they didn't. Then, to end it off, I'll write a short recommendation and overall score as the conclusion. Something to take note of - my reviews are completely honest. Any personal connections or problems with the groups I review will be kept personal, none of that will be counted into this analysis. I will be giving my honest opinion. The purpose of this review is not to degrade their hard work, but to simply give a summary of what it is like so others have a way to help decide whether this would be something suitable for them. With all that said and done, let's get into the review. The date I went was September 14th, 2025 on a Wednesday. It was in the morning, about 10:00 (maybe a little later). They did provide coffee in the morning, pretty nice quality for a place that's free to enter. The venue is this big auditorium, with many cushioned chairs for the viewers to sit at, and a stage where the performers would perform their music. It was clean and tidy, not cluttered at all which is a huge plus, and the stage was also kept clean and organized. For this specific day's performance, there were 6 people in total. The lead guy, who was a singer. The Keyboardist, the second singer, the third singer, the drummer, and the guitarist. They all had microphones and sang a part in the songs they played, except the drummer. They sang a total of 3 songs (all Christian songs, which is admirable because it is a church), one of which I recognized as "Praise". Their timing was excellent and seemed very well practiced, the instruments were also very balanced, to where you could hear each of them. That also made the experience more enjoyable because it wasn't just one instrument over powering everything else. The lead singer sang loudly and clearly while also having an interacting stage presence, whereas the other singers just sort of stood there awkwardly when singing. That threw me off and kind of ruined the whole vibe because their energy didn't match the other guy's. That was probably what lowered my score the most for this performance the most: The lack of energy balance. They had the song lyrics on a huge screen so that everyone could see them and sing along. That definitely added to the vibe as well. A prayer was said before they exited the stage, which seems pretty on topic since it's a church performance. In conclusion, this event/performance is definitely most suitable for Christian people, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to see a live band perform but doesn't want something very long or expensive. To sum up the feedback, they could work on better stage presence and overall energy, but great environment, love the on-topic song choices, everything is nicely timed, and seems very practiced. Something that people should take note of are; my reviews are completely honest and understanding. Any personal problems would be kept in mind and not said out loud. Like I said, this will be honest and taken seriously, my reviews should not hurt towards any musician or singer, simply giving critiques towards their hard work, and a summary of what kind people this music is suitable for. And with that said, let's get into the review. On September 14th 2025 at 10 AM I saw people perform. They provided coffee and other food condiments. It was really nice for a free opening. The venue is this big auditorium with nice cushioned chairs for people to sit. And a stage where the singers can perform their music. It was tidy and clean, not cluttered at all, and the stage was also kept clean and organized. For this day, there were about 6 people on the stage, the lead singer, the keyboardist, the second singer, the third singer, the drummer, and the guitarist. They all had a microphone and all played a part in this performance except the drummer, The drummer was isolated in a "cage" from the other performers. I'm not sure if it's for the drums because they're too loud or another reason. There were a total of 3 songs played. Which one of them I recognized was "Praise" I enjoyed the music really well. Judging by the performers and their instruments, it looks like they practiced a lot. The singers performed well. And the songs they performed seemed practiced and took time. The singers sang loudly and clearly for the audience to hear. Though I do think that they could work better on their stage presence. I don't want this to seem as targeting cause I don't believe in such things, but I will say that there is a specific singer that could improve on their singing skills and talk louder. The guy, AKA the lead singer, he was probably the most perfectionate and well played. He didn't stand their awkwardly, instead, moved around a bit, on stage unlike the rest of the singers. They did have a big screen on the wall with lyrics so the audience could sing along, I think that's very good interpretation. They did say prayer at the end of the performance before the exit, which is common because it's a Church. Conclusion In conclusion, this performance is definitely most suitable for christian people, and I recommend this for people who don't want to spend a lot of money and don't want the performance to be as long. To sum up my feedback, I feel as if they could definitely work on their stage performance and their lack of energy, but overall I really enjoyed their singing. My overall rating; 7/10, obviously not a 10 because they can improve on some things, but besides that everything else seems well practiced. The experience with this church was relatively good until money started to make a difference…read more Unfortunately this is the story with most churches. As soon as large amounts of money started flowing into the church, the problems started. Three years ago the music pastor/leader was doing great job, so he was fired. In much the same way, the youth pastor at the time was doing an equally good job and low and behold he was fired as well. However, this time, the Elders and head Pastor lied to the congregation by disparaging him, saying he could not conscientiously Pastor to anyone for some egregious personal behavior. This was a lie (confirmed to be a lie). Now three years later the new youth Pastor (1 year of service) has been dismissed as well, along with another lie. In my humble opinion, the reason for these issues are either vanity (no one can be more popular than I attitude on the part of Elders and Pastor) or greed (Salaries are too much to give away). In either case steer clear to avoid HeartAche at HeartCry!
