Ben always has a game plan for our sessions. Every session is FUN, challenging, and unique. He checks in before and after to see how I'm feeling with the work we're doing. I really appreciate that dedication and consistency from him. He is a true coach and is ridiculously excited to see people develop themselves and the techniques he's working on with them. Outside of this being an incredible workout, sessions work your brain and invite you to break through emotional layers and triggers you may have not realized were there.This work has been *empowering*to say the least. We couldn't be more thankful for Sifu Cherry and her team, they work very well with my son. We started with 1:1 classes before integrating him into group classes. My son would elope at home, at the the store basically anywhere, with the help of Fight Foundation my son hardly has that issue now. MMA has taught him discipline and to follow directions. They instructors are great at reinforcing positive behaviors and nipping the bad ones. My son is learning to interact with his peers better and he is equipped to defend himself. We've been with Fight Foundation for many year and highly recommend them. It's also by far the cleanest gym around. We love Sifu Cherry And Sifu Paul, their whole team has always been awesome with us. My son has been with the fight foundation for a few years now. I signed him up because I was tired of my son coming home upset from being physically bullied with little consequences from the school. There is so much to love about this for kids and adults. Besides the instruction and great customer service, there is this feeling of family. Everybody supports your progress. For kids, there is a fun, playful yet disciplined learning environment. Every class has a mat chat in which topics like bullying are discussed along with how to properly introduce yourself and make a new friend. I would strongly warn…read moreanyone considering signing a membership contract here to read every single line before giving them your payment information. Once you sign up, don't expect much understanding or flexibility if your circumstances change. In my experience, even after leaving the state/country and no longer being anywhere near the gym, they were still determined to hold me to the membership contract and continue collecting payments. The way this was handled completely changed my opinion of this business. Jiu-Jitsu is supposed to teach discipline, integrity, respect, accountability, and doing the right thing. Unfortunately, those values did not match what I experienced as a customer. It felt like the membership contract and collecting money mattered more than treating a customer fairly. There is a big difference between running a legitimate business and hiding behind a contract to squeeze money out of someone who can no longer even use your facility. If this is how you treat your customers, don't be surprised when people leave negative reviews and warn others. I would not recommend this gym. If you're thinking about joining, be extremely careful about what you're signing and how difficult it may be to get out of the membership. Based on my experience, there are plenty of other places I would rather spend my money.
