Spotlight Theatre Company continues giving us great productions! Saw Enchanted April and it was…read morejust such a light and whimsical play that made us feel so good afterwards. It was so appropriate especially with how good the weather has been these past few days. It amazes me how with such a small stage the way the production design team can make it look gloomy and enchanting during the intermission. The actors were spot on!! All of them did a great job in bringing the characters to life. This coming weekend is their last performance so make sure to see it!!

The most recent performance I saw was "Christmas Belles", a Texas Christmas story- Hilarious! And there were a bunch of characters, and a really ambitious (and effective) set! I audited just about every class in the Denver area, but there was always something missing. My very last audit was with Lea and I knew, immediately, I was HOME. I KNEW she was going to teach me a lot of things. What I didn't bank on was how much she would encourage me to learn about myself...mind, body and spirit. We set personal intentions for our class and the week...we do yoga the first class of the month ...I've had workshops where there is movement but nothing like this. Saw Buyer & Cellar, a new comedy by Jonathan Tolins, Directed by Linda Suttle and starring John Hauser in this one man play about a struggling L.A. actor who takes a job working in the basement of a beloved megastar. The result is an outrageous comedy about the perils of fame, the price of friendship, and the oddest of odd jobs. John Hauser is so superb in this role. It was so engaging and I recommend that everyone watch this play at least once-it will not disappoint! It runs from 14 Oct to 11 Nov 2017. The venue is small but has the advantage of making you feel part of the stage. There is a snack bar with an assortment of drinks and goodies.
