Jack Lenenberg is fantastic and I highly recommend his Long Term Care (LTC) services and expertise…read more I did a lot of research on LTC policies and options, including from my trusted source of insurance USAA (which I have for all of my other insurance, as I'm a former Army officer) and it was quite a morass of options and complex offerings. During the research process, I kept coming across Jack, with lots of informative articles online, podcasts, videos, etc. He was absolutely prolific and every one of the interviews and articles helped me to understand a little more of the LTC landscape. I'm not usually one for brokers...I like to go straight to the source...but I eventually realized that I needed to check out the source of all this great information that had been put out there for free. I contacted Jack and that was all it took. He's unbelievably knowledgeable, kind and understanding, takes as much time as you need to get to know your situation and recommend what's best from the various offerings on the market. I applied for LTC with Jack's help, but got turned down by the LTC company the first time. I was bummed, and Jack said that there were other companies/policies that might take me, but he advised against it because they were more expensive for coverage that wasn't as good. Instead he said to wait the required 18 months and apply again, advising me on a couple of things to do that would make it less likely that I'd be turned down again. So a broker, Jack, who could have steered me toward a policy that wasn't as good for me and gotten compensated for his time immediately, instead told me to wait, gave me great pointers, patiently waited with me, that was it: it was all about helping me, not worried about selling me something as quickly as possible. No sales calls in the meantime, not bugging me or anything, just available to help if I needed anything. A few months short of the 18 required, I thought I was ready and contacted Jack just to catch him up on my progress and ask if there was anything else I could do. He said he'd see if he could get me another chance to apply early, before the required wait time, and sure enough he was able to do that through a company contact that he had. I'm happy to say that I was accepted this time and now have my LTC policy, and a great policy it is. Having looked at many others on my own, this one is truly the best, and it was Jack that made not only made it all possible, but encouraged me to continue trying when I wasn't immediately accepted, and made the entire process as easy as possible. During the whole process, he also had multiple meetings with my wife and I while we both asked lots of questions, patiently explaining everything, for as long as we needed. I truly can't say enough great things about Jack. If you're considering Long Term Care, don't hesitate to check him out. Even if you don't end up going with him (although I don't now why anyone wouldn't), you'll learn a lot, and there is zero pressure from him in anyway. He's truly expert and helpful, and I'll be thanking him for the rest of my years for putting my mind, and that of my wife's, at ease, with this LTC policy protecting us if I need that kind of care in the future.

The problem was she only wanted to show me one option. Her option did not seem very good for me. Through my research I came across Jack's blog which has been SO HELPFUL in answering my own questions and helping me to best understand my choices. I was so overwhelmed with all of the policies, the options, how much coverage I needed. Growing old is hard to think about and I just do not want to burden my children with these issues. After reading Jack's blog I submitted an online request for quotes through his website. Jack responded with a phone call and we spoke for a few minutes after which he prepared initial information for me that I reviewed. I ended up having A LOT of questions. I emailed Jack, I called Jack...for a few weeks with (maybe too many) questions. God bless him he patiently answered every one of my questions. If I asked for a new quote, he sent it out to me right away. Finally, I said "What's the next step?" Jack said "Well Dolores, let's get you approved for your policy." The application process was very easy. I completed a telephone interview with a nurse. My policy arrived last week. It feels so good to now have this off of my plate. In fact the one claim we had with them, which was an auto claim, was a horrible experience. The claims adjuster was not helpful and fact falsely reported that the minor damage was major as as a result the carfax report affecting the resale value of the vehicle. I have a friend who uses Berger and ONeal for their insurance and Michael Berger and his staff looked at my policies and recommended new carriers that in total saved me at least $8000 in this first year. It was the best insurance move I have ever made.

I met with them in person and discussed policy information one on one. They answered all my questions and were very friendly. They wanted the same things that I wanted, to have good reliable coverage and to pay as little as possible for it. They provided me with an "insurace binder" that I took to the tag office to register my car the same day. When I got to the tag office they told me they could not accept the "insurance binder" without the VIN# on it. I was able to call up my agent, have them fax over an updated document, and register my car. If I hadn't used them I probably still wouldn't have insurance, and if I did, it probably wouldn't be a good deal. Plus, I probably wouldn't have been able to register my car yet. If you want good coverage, no hassle, good value, and human interaction, then call them.

Extremely unhappy with the lack of communication, honesty and professionalism. I have been beyond…read morepatient for 28 days. My son has been paying on a policy since July 2022. Every month, $313.27 are taken out of his account. On March 1, 2023 my son was pulled over by an officer that hand randomly ran his tag and in his system, it showed that the car had NO INSURANCE! We called State Farm's Customer Service (1 800-782-8332) and we spoke with several Customer Service Representatives whom ALL told us "this is weird, we see your son's information but there is NO POLICY! It seem's that the Agent dropped the ball on this one". My son received a citation for not having insurance. On March 2, 2023 I called Josh Minore's Office and alert them of the situation. I have been told that they apologize, when this policy was written that it was left in "limbo" and no one noticed it. I have been told that when this policy was written, it was sent to their underwriters team and "somehow" the underwriters team never sent it back. My son received his insurance binder and insurance card so we thought everything was legit and it was not. On March 1st, I paid $96.11 to add him to another policy while they fix this mistake. Jose told me that it would be refunded by the end of day on March 3rd and it never did. However, Allison said it would be refunded until this was handled. April 10th is our next billing cycle and TODAY, March 29th.... they took out another $313. 27 from my son's account. I emailed Allison 5 days ago asking how would the billing situation would work out and she never replied UNTIL today after I followed up. With them all being parents, you would think that they would be more understanding and helpful, but NO. It's through their customers that they support their families and this is the type of services that we got. I share to avoid it happening to anyone else.
