Absolutely by far the WORST medical practice in North Vancouver. They churn patients out for profit rather than caring for their well-being. The support staff and management are completely incompetent - your referral will get dropped, guaranteed. The worst part? Since they completely overbook their doctors in order to maximize revenue, doctors are ALWAYS running late. And by late I mean you will be seen 1-1.5 hours after your scheduled appointment time. iHealth is the worst doctors office I have ever attended. On more than 3 occasions I have felt my health concerns were being disregarded or that I was being put directly at risk due to the actions of the staff here. They either don't care, or are simply too incompetent to keep up with the requirements of care for their patients. I've been refused service, falsely charged $, disrespected and belittled. All this after hour long wait times to talk to a doctor for 5 minutes. I had booked an appointment to have an IUD inserted but the Pharmacy needed to know which kind, which the prescription didn't specify. The pharmacy and I called repeatedly with no answer and they didn't return calls. When I finally got through to them they said they wouldn't do the procedure because they hadn't sterilised their equipment (This appointment was booked more than a month in advance and there is only a small window to do it each month) After an incredibly stressful day of contacting them back and forth they decided they COULD in fact do it and had me in to the office. For her part Dr. Fatyeva (not my regular GP at the office) was kind and tried to reduce some of my concerns. Unfortunately she also placed it incorrectly. meaning I needed to go through the whole process again. I had to have a scan done to verify placement, which I never heard back about. The next time I heard from this office was to inform me that I owed them $45 for missing an appointment. One that I never booked and was not informed of. They had simply gotten my results and booked an appointment without ever consulting me. When I called to say as much they said I had to be aware of it because they would have told me (they didn't) and I could either come in to pay the bill or send them a cheque. OH and guess what. AGAIN they couldn't do it anyways because they didn't set up their office correctly. I've found a new Dr and within hours of receiving my test results from this ridiculous operation they've already called to talk about MULTIPLE things these idiots missed. Although I love my doctor here, their reception is THE WORST!!! They have the nerve to threaten charging you $25 if you cancel appt with less then 24hours or show up late and they refuse to take you. Yet the doctors are always running late and they don't notify you. Today is the 3rd time they booked with me is not in their system. Making me wait hours missing work. And they are rude. I was stuck waiting in their error so I had to go put money in my parking meter I was gone 5 mins. I told her what I was doing. And she sent two people in while I was gone. She said they called my name. So why didn't you ca my cell. I was just down stairs. Paying for more parking because of YOUR mistake! It's stupid shit everytime I come here, I get treated like crap. read more

Doctors are great but the front office staff are terribly rude. A woman who checked in after me was berated for being 2 minutes late. She was practically in tears. I stood up for her but the woman at the desk was unapologetic. I often wait 45 mins or more after my appointment time. The double standard is ridiculous. They need to make customer experience a much stronger priority. read more

I noticed the reviews are terrible and this has not been my experience, so I decided to write a review from my experience which has been excellent. From reading the reviews, the only experience I share is that the doctors are running late. Since Covid I have been having phone appointments so this has not been a problem. I haven't notice it as a problem when going in person. The receptionists have changed and I can't complain. No one has been rude or having a bad attitude with me. I have seen both doctors there, one is my family doctor, and I have only had good experiences with both. I have found them both to be competent and professional and I am confident seeing either. TLDR: A horrible clinic where reception never knows what's going on, doctors are always late, and patients get the blame for the clinic's mistakes. I have quite the story with this clinic. It all started out alright - I hadn't had a GP in years after mine retired so I signed up with iHealth MD and my doctor was very nice. For my first physical, things went alright though my doctor was late and nowhere near thorough (she seemed in a major rush and only checked my heart rate and blood pressure.) However things started going majorly downhill once I booked an appointment for a vaccine I wanted to get. I had been told in the past that it was pricey, but my doctor assured me it was fully covered for me because of my age. I got the first dose and booked an appointment 3 months in advance for my second dose along with an IUD insertion. THE DAY OF, I get a call from reception saying my doctor won't be able to see me in person for some undisclosed reason and will do a phone appointment instead. My appointment time rolls around - no call. An hour later - still no call. I called them back and the reception said the doctor was so busy with in-person appointments that she couldn't get to the phone, so she would call me in another hour. That time comes around - nothing. I ended up getting a call, which went to voicemail since I was at work, SIX HOURS after my original appointment time. I call back and am told she is unfortunately away for the weekend, but I can set up a phone appointment with her for the following week. At this point I just want to know what's going on, but the receptionist knows nothing and even goes as far as blaming ME for "missing my appointment." In the end, it turns out the only reason the appointment was cancelled was because my insurance didn't cover the vaccine after all, so I would have to pay for it - something they didn't bother to call me about in the THREE MONTHS between doses. I ended up making a new appointment to get the shot and IUD, though with a different doctor at the clinic because my GP couldn't do the IUD insertion. I got squeezed in for an appointment between classes (I'm a university student and my program runs 6 days a week, 4 of which are 12-hour days) but lo-and-behold the appointment time they gave me was 10 minutes earlier than what they had in their system. On top of this, my doctor was 30 minutes late. So 40 minutes into what I thought would be my appointment time, I'm sweating cause I know I need to leave for class soon. Right as I decide to leave and re-book, the doctor comes in. I say I'm sorry, but I have to go and she replies with "You know, you really need to book more time off for your medical appointments. We MDs are often running behind, so you need at least an hour. I was only half an hour late, so you need to leave time for these things." I said my program unfortunately allows me no time for that - I barely have a life. She responded with "Yeah, you know I went to school too. You can make time. I always managed to book off half a day for my medical appointments." (HALF A DAY??) When I mentioned my program involved 10-12 hour days, she cut me off saying her program required her to put in 36 hour days (ummm... what? there are 24 hours in a day, last time I checked) and that I could always just give my instructors a doctor's note. I am an acting student so it's not that simple - if I miss class or rehearsal, I can't just catch up by looking over lecture notes or a textbook. She didn't seem to care and was mad at me for having to leave because SHE was 40 minutes late. So if you want peace of mind or to be understood by your doctor, DON'T GO TO THIS CLINIC. read more

Absolutely horrible. Negligent doctors. When spoken to make statements like "this is western medicine and we are here to medicate" "why did you even come here in the first place"... miss diagnosis on serious health issues. Lack of compassion for their patients. Failed to listen to the patient. So awful on so many fronts. The walk in clinic has better doctors who actually listen to you. read more

My experience was great. I have been looking for a primary care physician for a long time. Dr. Fadyeyeva was genuinely attentive and did not rush me. Even though it is a busy clinic the service was consistent every time, and I was able to find a solution to a complex issue. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, courteous and caring physician. read more
