Service: Even if the restaurant is empty, you can be left standing at the hostess stand for 5-10 minutes, while every staff member locks eyes with you. Numerous times I've been told that I can't be seated because the kitchen needs to catch up on orders. The wait staff smells like cigarette's, has dirty fingernails, and attitude is poor. Was brought food and had no silverware. When I asked for a fork the server rolled their eyes and didn't return back until my food was cold. Dare I ask for butter and jam for my "buttered toast". Lastly, multiple visits I've been present with staff yelling at each other in the kitchen. Facilities: There is trash littering the floors under the tables, everything is sticky. Food: Usually cooked correctly to order. No complaints for the basic eggs and bacon and home fries. This is based off multiple visits and opportunities to impress me. I will not return. Came here while visiting family. Place was empty when we arrived. We were a party of 6. The server took the order. Immediately after she should have brought us the utensils and syrips with napkins ketchup salt and pepper. She started to bring out the food and had no clue as to who ordered what. We had to ask for the coffee several times. As well as asking for the milks and utensils. When I asked the manager for coffee she said they were brewing a fresh pot. Juan Valdez could have picked the beans and made me coffee faster than they could. Two people walked in and waited to be seated. family and I came around dinner time. the service wasn't good, but the food was good. we got milkshakes but took them like 15-20 minutes to bring our 4 milkshakes that were simple. we told them we had to leave and they finally bring out to go cups with half filled milkshakes and watered down like they were sitting there the whole time. read more

This place has really gone down hill. Used to be my breakfast go to. The last 2 times I went I left after waiting 30 plus minutes to be seated. The first time they were short wait staff and today they said the kitchen was a bit "backed up so we had to wait" . Ridiculous. Both times we left and went down the highway to the diner and were immediately seated and served great food in a timely manner. May 7, 2022, Saturday. Wet and rainy. I was 5 minutes late to meet 2 friends. Host would not seat them. No other people in lobby to get seated. When I got there we were put on the right side of the dining room. 5 4 tops open and 1 6 top. BTW My friend, Tom, is 80 and has MS. He was using a walker AND wearing his Vietnam Veteran cap! Went to Seaford De. Location. Several people staffed location. Less than 5 tables occupied. Waited to be seated, ok. Tables left dirty the entire time we were there. I'm from the West Coast and my family and I come here every year and this has been the most disappointing visit, the restaurant was discussing, and the employees looked like the restaurant. When the waitress finally took our order, it took so long to receive our food it was served like slop. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this deserved it. We sat for over 45 minutes waiting for our dinner. Other people had sat after us, and got their food and left before us. I had to go to Bridgeville because of my Dads health. While I was there I decided to take my Mother out for lunch. This place was great. The service was spectacular and the food was great. The restaurant was filthy, food left on dining tables, floor full of paper. Place order for scrambled eggs with cheese , bacon and potatoes. Order came eggs not cooked properly runny not done properly, bacon same thing hardly cooked and no potatoes on plate. Very disappointed in management. I ordered food through Uber eats and only got half my order. When I called they said they don't even use Uber eats, so that was a strike right there...how do you not know what your facility uses...they then said I have to contact the Uber driver....NO he doesn't make the food or grab it and just leave without asking for the name that's on the meal. It's ihops job to make the meal and set it up to be ready for the Uber driver. Then they say they dont do refunds or discounts for Uber or door dash, that I would have to come in and get the food or something else that I cant remember because I started to see red. I went in a a Monday morning and there was no one in there. This surprised me as it was usually so busy. They however took as long as if the was a packed house to get my meal. my husband and i went to seaford ihop we asked for a table. they seamed to be put out cause we ask. we waited for ten minutes before anyone would wait on us we ordered 2 classic hamburgers with fries and soda the fries seam to have a lot of skin on them if i wanted skins i would have asked. tomatoes were not ripe and onions had outside hard skin on them. then she brought us the slip and said when you are through i will take it she could see we were already done and she ran off before we had a chance to say a word. we waited and waited after ten minutes we got up and i went upfront to pay. the girl said i could not pay for it there, then went to search for waitress it took another ten minutes the waitress did apologize but by then i made up my mind this was not a good place to eat. unless you plan on killing time not a good place to eat audrey read more

All I can say is that this is IHOP. They serve mostly breakfast. It's very easy to make. The night the family and I went to eat, it wasn't busy. Our food was about half hour out and I think it was because our server was on a smoke break. C'mon. Our food wasn't even hot. Always make sure your customers food is hot. They suck here. read more

Pretty dame disappointing IHOP let's starts off with all those nasty flies flying all over the place literally flying on you on top of the food the server was sweet but those flies killed my appetite yuck ! I ordered crepes and let me tell you they where so stiff and burnt I didn't even touch them just ate one or two bites from the center because that was the only somewhat soft part then to the food the eggs and shredded hasbrowns where burnt !!! The service was great today. I ordered chicken Florentine crepes and a side of red potato peppers and onions hash. What they think is hash is taking some fried potatoes and dumping a little bit of onion and peppers over them. No flavors being developed at all. Plus my crepes were a little soggy.
