We've dined at the Salusbury Longhirn for years & it has always been great...until recently. New management and almost all new staff. Our meal was tasty, but the service was mediocre. The waiter forgot to bring our salads. The entryway & dining area were both dirty with trash and food everywhere on the floor and in the seats. We had to wait 20+ minutes for a table all while several tables were empty. There were dirty tables piled with dirty dishes all around the restaurant. It took 3 different staff in a span of 30+ minutes to clear and wipe 3 tables...they brushed food onto the floor & seats and left it to go chat with each other. I'm relatively new in Salisbury and visited this Longhorn several times. Their food is outstanding. However on my recent Sunday visit, I want to offer suggestions for a five star rating and future visits. I'll admit it was busy; but not an excuse for the dirty entry door windows. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The carpet was littered with crumbs. A large seating across from us (about 10 people) sat for a lengthy period before it was cleared. After clearing the table, additional crumbs and crayons were knocked on the floor... where they stayed and were not recognised or cleared during my stay. Finally after visiting the men's room,the floor was wet starting at the urinals. It was not clear if this was water or urine as I brought the wet floor to the attention of the server and manager during a prior visit a week earlier. It was disgusting and the Salisbury community deserves better. A bit more training and periodic monitoring of the overall cleanliness read more

We stopped by for lunch. We both ordered the 7pepper steak salad and soup. The waitress was great. I noticed she was also the barmaid, but it was slow, and she did well. The bread was hard ,either microwaved hard or sitting out and was stale hard. We couldn't tell. It took some sawing to cut through the crust. We never had trouble before with their bread. I ordered the French onion soup with my salad. It was a lot of bread in it, so it soaked up all of the broth, and with the cheese, it was rather funky consistency. I ate about half but was kind of grossed out by its texture. The steak was cooked perfectly medium but they really have cut back on the amount they give you. See the pics. FYI for anyone looking to join the online waitlist- the Google option does NOT work. Since they don't take reservations, my boyfriend and I joined the online waitlist and waited two hours for our dinner on Valentine's day. We went in when it said we were next in line just to be told that the online option "doesn't actually put you on the waitlist" and the next available table would be in 3 1/2 hours. I went here 7/24/21 with my boyfriend and daughter after a long day at the beach. I got the Blazing Berry sangria and the best way to describe the glass it came in would be a thick glass goblet. It felt like I should have been at Medieval Times. I got a 6oz sirloin with asparagus and grilled shrimp over rice along with a Caesar salad. Well, I took my mom out the day before my grandfathers funeral and the meal was SO disappointing. First we ordered spicy chicken bites and they came with barely any sauce on them. This is a chain steakhouse. You can never expect the world. They don't even serve prime beef, but none of the other midpricepoint chains do either. The sides were sides, does it really matter? The service was slow but adequate. The "western theme"? Who cares! Let's talk steak! I ordered med rare and my companion ordered medium well(filets of course). Two words, PRESSED STEAK! This is what happens when lazy cooks can't grill a piece of meat at a proper temperature for the proper period of time. They simply smash the steak on the grill. Does this make a steak cook faster? Sure. Is it incomprehensible that a steakhouse of ANY ilk perform dastardly and lazy tactic? A resounding YES! Even mine, which literally takes 5-7 minutes to grill, was smashed. This is simply unacceptable. The pricepoint is $1-3 cheaper for the highend cuts than the other chains. But be aware, choose a steak from the window as you walk in, if at all possible, because the cuts that were served to us were slightly smaller. After now sampling all the chains, Outback is the only chain that hasn't smashed a steak. I haven't yet been able to figure out why that is, but at least to this point I can count on it. Do yourself a favor and skip Drunk Uncle Vic's Grill-over(he presses steaks too), it's just not worth it. read more

LongHorn Steakhouse is a fairly generic chain steakhouse. The decor inside is very nice, but the food quality is on par with others in the area -- namely Outback and Texas Roadhouse. LongHorn is easily accessible from the Mall and is closer to US-50, so if you're headed to or from Ocean City along that route it's the best option for stopping. Their steaks were prepared exactly as requested and their sides are of a decent size as well. Overall I would recommend for anyone looking for a quality steak. Went to Sunday dinner for my granddaughter's 21st birthday. Our order was taken rather quickly and the wait wasn't too long for our food. But it was downhill from there. This was the first time my girlfriend and I have ever been at a Long Horn Steakhouse and I have to say it was hands down amazing. Our waiter Dane was very professional and polite.
