It's hard to eat this food, it is the worst food I have had in my entire life.

It is pasta, and Switzerland borders Italy, a country highly associated with pasta. What did I have to lose? I ordered the ravioli because it was highly suggested by the wait staff and it is everything you would expect in a homemade ravioli dish. Expensive? Sure. But you get what you pay for here. The meat special works best because you get some delicious ham with all of it, and it is already a generous portion. It was such a lovely meal that I thanked the staff for making it. Well done!

Checked the menu lately and found out that they got oysters on it. Came in yesterday for a pre-lunch snack. The menu is quite interesting. Red and White Wine, Prosecco, Champagne or beer. Deluxe-Sandwiches, Pasta, Beef Tartar, Salmon, Gourmet-Platter, Sushi etc. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. But we came for the Oysters that day, just for a snack. To our surprise, three Oysters with a glass of white wine only costs 16.- here. That's quite cheap. And now the best part. These are Loch Fyne Oysters from Scotland. Some of the best Oysters we've ever tried (been at Loch Fyne a bunch of years ago). Beaten only by Moran's Oysters near Galway. So this here is a fantastic deal. The wine that came with is the Spanish Basa (white), another favourite of ours. And all for this price. We were quite thrilled. Oysters taste fresh, were opened before our eyes. Nice size, good flavours, tender. The Salmon Sandwich we had the other week was a nice surprise as well. Radish spread on the bread, topped with a really good load of high quality salmon. Nice texture, nice color, nice flavour and worth the money. Staff is nice and friendly and the atmosphere here quite relaxing. One might think it's a bit strange being located in the middle of the food market. But this is quite the luxury food market down here, the atmosphere is quiet and calm, the setting tasteful and modern. A nice place to hang out to enjoy a drink and some oysters or some other food. Leka was our server. The restaurant was casual but was still quiet and somewhat reserved. There were a handful of families and some small children; no one felt out of place. The food was unbelievable! The pizza was perfect and all of us enjoyed the well balanced flavors. One of the waiters warned me the Piccante was spicy, but I found it mild with just a little kick. Every dish was delicious and we left feeling quite full. After a long day of walking and enjoying time by the river, this was a perfect spot for sitting down and filling up. They had one table for two and they graciously seated us. We ordered the Risotto alla Cicoria con Gamberoni and the Scaloppine di Vitello al Limone con Tagliatelle. The risotto was as good as previous times we have ordered it. Only difference this visit is that we opted for the full course and glad we did. Of course I couldn't come here without ordering the rosemary oven roasted potatoes which were kindly substituted for the tagliatelle. Rosemary potatoes are excellent in that lemon sauce. Nothing was left. Both members of the Clean Plate Club. Not hard to do wwhen the food is so very good. Service was excellent. Never rushed and the restaurant was totaly full during our visit. We learned that reservations for lunch are almost essential. Love they hustle and bustle of the place. Can't wait to return in September...Maybe Antonio will be working.

Servers were very nice and we were not rushed. The soup, zuppa di pomodoro was delicious. I had the vitello scaloppine al limon which finely sliced and the tenderest veal I ever had. Wife had the linguine all venez which she loved. A great dining experience, especially since we had no reservations. Would definitely come back and next time make reservations. btw - we finished in a little over an hour ;-).
