Ending up here with two colleagues while visiting Trento for business, I was somewhat surprised to…read morefind a place with such a German vibe in Italy. Also food wise, they cater local food that seems a mixture between Italian, Austrian and German cuisines, including Pretzels and dumplings.
We shared an excellent mixed plate with meats (for them) and four types of cheeses (for me :-) ) for starters. As a main dish I had the local spinach gnocci, with came shaped as big dumplings. Not something you want to eat a whole pan off, but one plate of it was very tasty.
Also, when you're here, don't forget to taste some of the great home-brewed beers.
The staff is sometimes a bit hasty, probably due to it being a large place with many customers to serve, but when you ask for their attention you are usually served pretty fast.
