This is basically the new generation of "classic" Bologna restaurants. You'll find all the classics/favorites - gramigna, passatelli, tortellini/brodo, etc. - done extremely well, and fighting for attention with each other. The staff is, as expected, helpful, the wine list is quite good, and the mascarpone is off the charts (seriously). The bottom line here is that this is as good as anything else you're likely to find, and a heck of a lot more affordable to boot. Sooo, go!

The Cotoletta was very unnecessary since I was already full by this point but I figured I was on holiday and really wanted to try this scrumptious looking dish. And scrumptious it was! So good. The Panna Cotta was ideal to end the meal and it was very soft and not overly sweet. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu as well as a wine pairing suggestion.
