The desserts at the Constant Grind were delicious. Every time I visit, I wonder what new deserts they have at Constant Grind. During Christmas and Fourth of the July, there were beautiful decorations. There were singers singing while playing the guitar at the casino floor. However, be aware, the casino floor smells smoke a lot. If you are uncomfortable with that, I suggest you to go to the non-smoking area. The gym was very nice, with many different types of exercise machines and weights. The rooms were clean. However, the room I was at, water would go through under the shower curtains and the bathroom floors would be all wet. I'd have to put many towels on the floor so it'd soak up the water. Overall, it is a wonderful casino. I love Tampa. I made beautiful memories there.

I played in the Any Two Cards league up in Atlanta, so I was very interested in finding a good league when I moved down to Orlando. After checking out a few other fun leagues, I decided to go with Orlando Hold'em for a few reasons. The first reason is that they have games going every night in various parts of Orlando. Whether you are downtown, near the airport, or in the northern suburbs of Orlando, this league has you covered. I've played in the downtown games at Frank & Steins on Mondays (formerly at Chillers), Underground Public House on Tuesdays, Church Street Tavern on Wednesdays, Graffiti Junktion on Thursdays, Harry Buffalo on various days, and Exile near the Florida Mall for bigger tournaments. This wide range of locations has allowed me to try food and drinks at various spots around the downtown Orlando area. The second reason this league is great is the people who play. Unlike many other leagues, this league has league dealers at each table who only deal. They are all very professional and handle their tables very well. While it is free to play, it is recommended to tip the dealers $5-$10. They also give chips at each break for every drink or food item you buy (unlike other leagues, the amount given is uniform regardless of the price). The main guys who run the league downtown- Nate, Stu, and Apollo - are all very friendly people who keep things fun and organized. While anybody can play, the same 30-40 people come to these particular venues each week, so this league is also a great way to meet people while playing poker and having drinks. Another great difference with this league compared to others around Orlando is that, while some of the players are older, this league has many under 40 players, so a younger person won't feel out of place at a game. Overall, Orlando Hold'em stands out as one of the best poker leagues in the Orlando area. While they aren't as widespread or eccentric as some of the other leagues around Central Florida, the combination of great venues and great people make this is a fantastic choice for someone looking to meet some people and play free poker on any given night.

But, OMG, the Gainesville Lottery District Office is MY FAVORITE LOTTERY DISTRICT OFFICE! I am going to tell you what a Lottery District Office is, and why you should go there, but first I will tell you why I love this one. There are two guys that work at this Lottery Office that are all helpful, funny, and full of interior soul sunshine. These two guys will make you laugh, and they will brighten your day, even if you never win a dime. Super customer service. There is also a woman who works there that is kinda a sour puss - avoid her window. The Main Lottery Office in Tallahassee, and I have been to that one, and that is where you go when you win big money. But, if you win a little prize, over $600 but less than $250,000, you do not have to drive all the way to Tallahassee, you can go to one of 8 district offices to cash in. You can also go there to get annuity distributions, but if you have one of those, you are probably getting them wired directly to you Money Manager - that is complex and rare. You can also, of course buy tickets and scratchers, and find out the latest lottery new at a District Office. Kinda cool right? Go get some money. So, visit the Lottery District Office, feel the energy, get fired up, and let these guys brighten your day. And play responsibly at the Lottery District Office in Gainesville, FL. Oh, and if you are claiming a prize get there before 4pm.
