They made me feel so welcome and almost every single staff member made me feel special for wishing me HPB with my button! And don't forget to check out the two ducks - Chad and Regina, per lifeguard (forgot to catch his name but he was the most friendliest!) on duty on morning of 3/8. He also got us complimentary ice cream coupons for being my birthday - SO AMAZING

I…read morewouldn't recommend eating at "The kitchen" we did not enjoy their food at all but the Palm is pretty good! The pool was great, being able to take the water taxi to/from city walk is great! You can also take a little scenic walk and be there in less than 10 minutes which was great since we were going to the park. The stay comes with free fast passes and early entry if you have tickets for the parks. They offer room service and have multiple bars on site with daily entertainment. Now the ROOMS are VERY outdated. For the price of the stay the rooms should be in better condition. We did complain about the smell of the room and the flickering restroom light as soon as we walked in and they did come to fix the light ASAP but the smell was there the entire stay. It smelled like mildew, like if something was wet in the room. They said they would investigate where the smell was coming from but we never heard back from them. We also noticed our fridge was not cooling our drinks but we didn't say anything to the staff so it's not like they had a chance to fix it. No points taken off there. Staff was a BIT rude, kind of dismissive at checking in and checking out. Checking in I told her we had a big group reservation and parking for everyone would be charged to that company card on file. She said she still needs a just in case something happens. I said cool and gave her my personal debit card for incidentals instead of my company card, she charged my personal card for the parking even though I had just told her we had it set up so my company card would take care of parking for all of our guests. I explained once again and she fixed it but didn't seem happy. You could pick up the attitude in her tone. Checking out: we heard we could turn our keys into guitar picks which the kids thought would be great souvenirs. Upon approaching check out I told the woman named Kat that we wanted to check out and she almost whispered under her breath "well check out is automatic but SURE I'll do it for you" I apologized because I felt like I could've explained better and told her we heard about them turning the check in card into picks and that's why we were there. l and handed her all 5 of ours cards. She said "ALL FIVE?" And just stared at me. At that point I felt like I was asking for too much and told her just the kids cards is fine. Overall, the hotel itself is gorgeous. It has a game room, multiple bars, snack/ice cream shop, pool area has a slide, sand volleyball court and multiple bars. The rooms is what stood out to us the most. We just expected the rooms to be in perfect shape. Not flickering lights and a bad smell soon as we check in for family/team vacation. One more thing there were ducks in the pool that pooped in there several times and they do not clean it up so the kids are swimming with duck poop.

Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .

The food: the bowling alley is probably one of the best food options on site (other than the Starbucks) - the salad there was actually quite good and not crazy expensive (though, everything is expensive). We also enjoyed milkshakes from the malt shop. The room was fine - we had a suite with a little kitchenette and it was spacious enough for a few days. **My only real complaint (and the reason for my lower review) was the quality of the furniture. My daughter was leaning against one of the end tables to plug something in on the other side the night before we were hitting Epic Universe early, and it collapsed below her. She fell on top of it and some portion of it punctured her leg (we think a metal pin that was poking out from one of the broken legs). We contacted hotel management, and they came with hotel security who did some basic first aid and took away the broken tables (the other one also broke from her fall). We're grateful she wasn't injured more seriously (at least that we know of yet), but it could have been so much worse if that pin had punctured a more delicate area of her body. It also definitely made the next day at the park a lot harder for her with leg pain, etc. They really need to upgrade/inspect the furniture to make sure it's safe for guests.

I chose to self-park while there and the garage is a little bit of a walk from the entry. Upon entering it's beautiful to see the waterfall straight ahead, with beautiful marble and fixtures throughout. Checking in was easy and great. I was fortunate to get there before the large crowds, as when I walked in, there were plenty of staff available to check me in and there were no guests. About an hour later I walked through there and there were about 100 people in line waiting to check-in. The lady who checked me in was perfect! Friendly, professional, recognized my status, and gave me good info about the property, while promptly checking me in. Once I got to my room I was immediately satisfied with the décor and cleanliness. It's common that the Marriott properties I stay in have moldy caulking in the shower area, nasty, stained carpeting, and furniture that's stained, broken, dirty, and unappealing - But not here! This room was very nicely set up and maintained too. The bed was comfy and they also offered Pluto as one of their internet TV/streaming services - This has been very important to me over the past couple of years, I'm so used to it that I hate properties that don't offer it. The property itself was great. Service by all the staff was great. The entire place was well-maintained and you never have to leave or go outside; in fact, we didn't leave for the first day and a half! It's probably the best Gaylord I've stayed in so far, definitely better than National Harbor! It's also a mile from Disney World!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Gaylord…read more I'm going to start this review by reminding myself things that I should know for next time. One is to bring a beach volleyball or some sort of ball for the pool. They have basketball hoops, and there are so many kids that bring balls that if you have a child that likes sports and doesn't have a ball, they will be pretty disappointed. The resort does not supply balls, but you can buy one for $17. Whereas if you go to Walmart, they are $10 so just bring a ball with you. My older son loved the Flow Rider. You can sign up 24 hours ahead of time online to guarantee you a spot. There is a table that you can sign up day of, but spots do you get filled up because there are only six kids allowed in each group per session so that's a total of 12 people. We were able to snag a same-day spot of 10 AM and then he loved it so much we went back for a 12 PM spot. The earlier you are there, the fewer kids that are signed up, so you get more turns if you sign up for an earlier spot. As long as you get to the pool early enough, you do not have to pay for seating. I love that there is an umbrella above most chairs. On Friday we got to the pool at about 2 PM and there were tons of seats. On Saturday we got there about 10:30 AM and there were enough seats that we were able to find one under an umbrella, but about 15 minutes later I saw families struggling to find shaded seats. On Sunday at about 9:30 am there were a moderate amount of seats open that were shaded, but by about 10 AM people were struggling. So if you're planning to get there around 11, maybe noon, you might want to go ahead and reserve seating. If there is a light show, it is worth getting a room on a higher floor in the main atrium. They had the blooming light show and my kids actually really enjoyed it. It is at 9 PM so that was a little late for my young ones, but we were able to sit on the balcony and watch it. I realized if we had a lower room we wouldn't have been able to see it as well, so ninth floor main atrium is definitely the way to go. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, I remember last time thinking they were a bit outdated, but they went through a full renovation, January 2025 and now they were absolutely gorgeous. I loved our room and I love the decor. We also ate at old Hickory steakhouse so I will leave my review there and I checked out the spa so I'll leave my review there. The kids love the arcade, and there are quite a few trinkets that they could win. It was a great after dinner activity. I love all the flowers they plant during the spring, they are beautiful backdrops for pictures. I highly recommend checking out all of the flowers. I was surprised that there were so few cars in the parking garage, I love that I could keep the car shaded, in the parking garage is on the side of the hotel that has the big ship, so if you're planning to go to your car a lot, it's worth getting a room closer to that side. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and we had the best stay here.

So Andrettis is an indoor karting, laser tag, and game room located right next to the Convention Center on International Drive. This place definitely was easily accessible from the main road and had plenty of parking in their private parking lot. So on the day of our event, upon arrival, we were greeted immediately and checked in quickly and efficiently. The staff were all very kind and helpful! The party room was located in the back of the building and was a pretty spacious room, with its own private bathroom. For our birthday package we opted for the laser tag, and arcade option for the kids and it kept them occupied for a few hours. Now for the food, I was very impressed by the quality and presentation of all the items we selected! Yes the food was just your average fried bar food... but I thought everything was super fresh and all came out very quick. The pizza, wings, and cheese curds were outstanding! Lastly, our party attendant was top notch! She was very attentive, had great communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I will say that even though the birthday package at Andretti's is a bit on the pricier side... we thought it was definitely worth it... my nephew had a very memorable birthday!

As you can see from my review history, I usually leave positive reviews when I am impressed and…read morerarely post negative comments when I am disappointed. However, I feel compelled to write a negative one in this case. On 3/6, I purchased two Gold Packages for myself and my 13 year old daughter. Each package includes two races. The representative who helped us explained that if we only completed one race that day, the remaining race would be stored as a credit on our membership cards. We therefore used only one race on 3/6. When we returned the next day, the representative at the counter, Desi, told us the next race would start in about six minutes. However, when I presented our membership cards, she said she could not see the remaining race credit. She then began asking questions such as whether we had purchased only one Gold Package and shared it, and whether we had receipts. It was clear she suspected we were trying to misuse the system. She continued questioning us for several minutes until I finally asked her to call the manager. While the manager was looking up the information, I logged into my credit card account to show proof of purchase. When I approached the counter with that information, the manager said rather casually, "Oh, we already found it." Unfortunately, by that time we had missed the race we could have joined and had already spent about 20 minutes standing at the counter. No one initially apologized for the inconvenience. When I told the manager that Desi should apologize, the manager responded, "It was not our fault. It was a system error. Sorry." Desi then said, "You did not even give me a chance," and tossed the race tickets onto the counter before trying to walk away. When I said that if I had not asked for the manager she likely would have continued questioning us suspiciously, she responded in a hostile tone, "If you want to take a picture of my badge, you can." The entire interaction was unnecessarily confrontational and disappointing. System errors can happen, but how staff handle them matters. A simple apology and professional attitude would have made a big difference.

Thankfully, it still managed to squeeze in everything I needed for a solid workout, so I can't complain too much. The conference food was good, though nothing particularly memorable. The late-night food offerings, however, were a welcome surprise and definitely earned bonus points. This is a fantastic property for hosting large corporate meetings and events. Rising gracefully against the Orlando skyline, this property feels less like a typical hotel and more like a thoughtfully designed retreat where comfort, elegance, and service come together effortlessly. The first thing that stands out is the architecture--rich Spanish revival influences that give the entire space a warm, timeless character. It's grand without feeling overwhelming, and every corner feels intentional. As you step into the guest rooms, the experience only gets better. Spacious, quiet, and beautifully maintained, the rooms offer sweeping views of the lush greens of the Shingle Creek Golf Course. Waking up to that serene landscape feels like a reset button for the day. What truly elevates the experience here is the level of hospitality. The service feels genuine, not scripted--attentive without being intrusive. It's clear why they've earned a reputation for exceptional customer care. The dining options are equally impressive, offering a variety of well-executed menus that cater to different moods, whether you're in the mood for a relaxed bite or a more refined evening. Add to that the expansive meeting rooms and conference spaces, and it's easy to see why this property is a favorite for both leisure travelers and business guests alike. Location-wise, it's hard to beat--tucked along Universal Boulevard, just minutes from major attractions and conveniently close to the Orange County Convention Center, yet it still manages to feel like a peaceful escape from the buzz. Overall, Rosen Shingle Creek delivers a complete experience--beautiful surroundings, thoughtful design, excellent food, and service that leaves a lasting impression.
