Since my decision to attend was about an hour before the show, my seat was literally in the next to the last row as high is you could go up. That's ok because the sound quality was fantastic. It's not the biggest music venue and that gave it more of an intimate feel even if the show was sold out. The best part, if you can believe this happened (oh, it did) was Gavin Rossdale coming all the way up to us while performing. Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. The food: the bowling alley is probably one of the best food options on site (other than the Starbucks) - the salad there was actually quite good and not crazy expensive (though, everything is expensive). We also enjoyed milkshakes from the malt shop. The room was fine - we had a suite with a little kitchenette and it was spacious enough for a few days. **My only real complaint (and the reason for my lower review) was the quality of the furniture. My daughter was leaning against one of the end tables to plug something in on the other side the night before we were hitting Epic Universe early, and it collapsed below her. She fell on top of it and some portion of it punctured her leg (we think a metal pin that was poking out from one of the broken legs). We contacted hotel management, and they came with hotel security who did some basic first aid and took away the broken tables (the other one also broke from her fall). We're grateful she wasn't injured more seriously (at least that we know of yet), but it could have been so much worse if that pin had punctured a more delicate area of her body. It also definitely made the next day at the park a lot harder for her with leg pain, etc. They really need to upgrade/inspect the furniture to make sure it's safe for guests.

I chose to self-park while there and the garage is a little bit of a walk from the entry. Upon entering it's beautiful to see the waterfall straight ahead, with beautiful marble and fixtures throughout. Checking in was easy and great. I was fortunate to get there before the large crowds, as when I walked in, there were plenty of staff available to check me in and there were no guests. About an hour later I walked through there and there were about 100 people in line waiting to check-in. The lady who checked me in was perfect! Friendly, professional, recognized my status, and gave me good info about the property, while promptly checking me in. Once I got to my room I was immediately satisfied with the décor and cleanliness. It's common that the Marriott properties I stay in have moldy caulking in the shower area, nasty, stained carpeting, and furniture that's stained, broken, dirty, and unappealing - But not here! This room was very nicely set up and maintained too. The bed was comfy and they also offered Pluto as one of their internet TV/streaming services - This has been very important to me over the past couple of years, I'm so used to it that I hate properties that don't offer it. The property itself was great. Service by all the staff was great. The entire place was well-maintained and you never have to leave or go outside; in fact, we didn't leave for the first day and a half! It's probably the best Gaylord I've stayed in so far, definitely better than National Harbor! It's also a mile from Disney World!!

One is to bring a beach volleyball or some sort of ball for the pool. They have basketball hoops, and there are so many kids that bring balls that if you have a child that likes sports and doesn't have a ball, they will be pretty disappointed. The resort does not supply balls, but you can buy one for $17. Whereas if you go to Walmart, they are $10 so just bring a ball with you. My older son loved the Flow Rider. You can sign up 24 hours ahead of time online to guarantee you a spot. There is a table that you can sign up day of, but spots do you get filled up because there are only six kids allowed in each group per session so that's a total of 12 people. We were able to snag a same-day spot of 10 AM and then he loved it so much we went back for a 12 PM spot. The earlier you are there, the fewer kids that are signed up, so you get more turns if you sign up for an earlier spot. As long as you get to the pool early enough, you do not have to pay for seating. I love that there is an umbrella above most chairs. On Friday we got to the pool at about 2 PM and there were tons of seats. On Saturday we got there about 10:30 AM and there were enough seats that we were able to find one under an umbrella, but about 15 minutes later I saw families struggling to find shaded seats. On Sunday at about 9:30 am there were a moderate amount of seats open that were shaded, but by about 10 AM people were struggling. So if you're planning to get there around 11, maybe noon, you might want to go ahead and reserve seating. If there is a light show, it is worth getting a room on a higher floor in the main atrium. They had the blooming light show and my kids actually really enjoyed it. It is at 9 PM so that was a little late for my young ones, but we were able to sit on the balcony and watch it. I realized if we had a lower room we wouldn't have been able to see it as well, so ninth floor main atrium is definitely the way to go. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, I remember last time thinking they were a bit outdated, but they went through a full renovation, January 2025 and now they were absolutely gorgeous. I loved our room and I love the decor. We also ate at old Hickory steakhouse so I will leave my review there and I checked out the spa so I'll leave my review there. The kids love the arcade, and there are quite a few trinkets that they could win. It was a great after dinner activity. I love all the flowers they plant during the spring, they are beautiful backdrops for pictures. I highly recommend checking out all of the flowers. I was surprised that there were so few cars in the parking garage, I love that I could keep the car shaded, in the parking garage is on the side of the hotel that has the big ship, so if you're planning to go to your car a lot, it's worth getting a room closer to that side. The TV even has Peloton strength workouts that don't require equipment or an account. Front desk staff was plentiful so there were no lines. On the downside, the hallway on my floor was painted white and it felt very institutional. The elevator not requiring a key felt a bit unsecured since anyone could press any floor. Also no hook for a hand towel in the large bathroom, which was annoying. Italian restaurant starts around $30 per plate and at the upper bar cocktails are about $20.

This place definitely was easily accessible from the main road and had plenty of parking in their private parking lot. The party room was located in the back of the building and was a pretty spacious room, with its own private bathroom. For our birthday package we opted for the laser tag, and arcade option for the kids and it kept them occupied for a few hours. Now for the food, I was very impressed by the quality and presentation of all the items we selected! Yes the food was just your average fried bar food... but I thought everything was super fresh and all came out very quick. The pizza, wings, and cheese curds were outstanding! Lastly, our party attendant was top notch! She was very attentive, had great communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I will say that even though the birthday package at Andretti's is a bit on the pricier side... we thought it was definitely worth it... my nephew had a very memorable birthday!

However, I feel compelled to write a negative one in this case. On 3/6, I purchased two Gold Packages for myself and my 13 year old daughter. Each package includes two races. The representative who helped us explained that if we only completed one race that day, the remaining race would be stored as a credit on our membership cards. We therefore used only one race on 3/6. When we returned the next day, the representative at the counter, Desi, told us the next race would start in about six minutes. However, when I presented our membership cards, she said she could not see the remaining race credit. She then began asking questions such as whether we had purchased only one Gold Package and shared it, and whether we had receipts. It was clear she suspected we were trying to misuse the system. She continued questioning us for several minutes until I finally asked her to call the manager. While the manager was looking up the information, I logged into my credit card account to show proof of purchase. When I approached the counter with that information, the manager said rather casually, "Oh, we already found it." Unfortunately, by that time we had missed the race we could have joined and had already spent about 20 minutes standing at the counter. No one initially apologized for the inconvenience. When I told the manager that Desi should apologize, the manager responded, "It was not our fault. It was a system error. Sorry." Desi then said, "You did not even give me a chance," and tossed the race tickets onto the counter before trying to walk away. When I said that if I had not asked for the manager she likely would have continued questioning us suspiciously, she responded in a hostile tone, "If you want to take a picture of my badge, you can." The entire interaction was unnecessarily confrontational and disappointing. System errors can happen, but how staff handle them matters. A simple apology and professional attitude would have made a big difference.

The valet service is also great! We typically drive our Corvette and during the day when possible, they put it under the breezeway to keep the sun off of it and if it rains. We typically hear nothing but good things from other guests as well. We only go to Omni Hotels & Resorts because of the impeccable service.
