The store front is fairly small with a few seating but mainly serves as takeout for gelato and gelato treats. They do seem to have branched into food as well but we didn't try. Service was friendly and helpful. We got the mango shake - really nice mango flavor and good milkshake consistency with good sweetness. Great treat to have on the go with crowds. If you are ever in the area, you have to try their gelato, it is absolutely heavenly. The saying of too much of something is not a good thing, is definitely not applicable to this place. The prices are reasonable and so are the portion sizes. The staff is friendly and patient. They have extended hours during the weekends and heck even during weekdays, you see the place hopping till almost midnight. The place is conveniently located in the casino building next to the falls with a food court and a skyway connects it to hotels nearby. Pretty good gelato, very expensive... as expected. It's located inside a casino. Nothing worth going to. Not many flavors. They are very for on the go ice cream, they have plenty of ice cream on a stick and ice cream sandwiches. We got cups and for the price it was not worth it. The staff was very nice, how very you cannot try any flavors and they it's hard for them to explain Italian flavors to customers. There was a group in front of us who had no idea of what they were and the gelato is kept inside a metal tube. (Which should show it is legit!) and so the group really didn't know what to get. We got Stracciatella, which was delish. If you get any thing that is it. The chocolate was your typical dark chocolate. Over all a pass if looking for something fun and easy. Very tasty and full of rich flavor. They also have cute ice cream sticks and unfortunately I was too full to try it but it seems like they use the same gelato so I'm sure it's good. I'm just sad I can't try everything but if I ever come back, I will definitely stop by. I think bc it's also in a casino, they have long hours. There's no parking but if you are staying in a nearby hotel, it's pretty walkable. The employees were also friendly and helpful. They don't do samples here but they were good at explaining the flavors. They top it off with their own "Carlotta"stamped wafer. So glad we did! Although they are not primarily a vegan shop, the options they have are top-notch. They have a wonderful vegan apple strudel, with tender, flaky crust that is caramelized on the bottom. The chocolate sorbet is delicious, and my oat milk latte had a smooth coffee flavor. I finally got to try a gelato burger the other day. The bricoche roll has a lemon flavor to it that reminded me of a lemon biscotti cookie so it didn't quite work with my caramel gelato. This is a very nice place in the Casino Hotel at Fallsview. It is a part of the mini mall they have on the ground floor, accessible from both inside and outside the building. The gelato is a little bit pricey and the sizes are smallish, but this is typical for gelato places. The chocolate flavor was rich. My husbands peach was good as well. Their gelato is so fresh and delicious, that I have to overlook the very high price of gelato in general for such a small amount. After dinner at The Famous also inside Niagara Fallsview, my boyfriend and I came across II Gelato Di Carlotta and decided to check it out as well as grab dessert. The staff were very friendly. There's not that much seating, but we managed to grab seats. It's a very cutesy gelato shop! The selections were decent, but I was hoping for a wider range of flavors. My boyfriend got the coconut gelato and I got the amaretto gelato. I really liked that they added a wafer on top of the gelato, never had gelato like that before. The coconut gelato was pretty good, tasted very coconuty. The amaretto gelato was bomb! I tasted the almond-ness, but wished there was more liqueur taste to it too.
