    Red velvet cupcake

This is a must stop if you're visiting Niagara Falls! The prices are great and the dessert delightful. I tried a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting and it was a psychedelic experience. I have never before or since taste a fluffier, light and just on point frosting. Kudos!

the best chocolate croissant you'll ever have in your life

I stopped by the café in the morning of my last day in Niagara Falls and I regret not knowing about it sooner. I picked a chocolate croissant and the pastry chef kindly warmed it up to enjoy with my cup of coffee. I cannot describe how incredible the bakery smelled in this boutique shop -- you have to be there and smell it for yourself. These culinary students are incredible. And let me keep raving about this chocolate croissant. You know those chocolate croissants you typically get that are just two or three layers of buttered dough that's too chewy and has maybe a thick block of chocolate in the middle (if you're lucky)? Well, this is none of that; it's the best croissant I've had in my life. Every single chocolate flake and bite of thick chocolate convinced me to go back 5 hours later and grab a croissant to go on my flight. So long....my chocolate croissant....

Amazing and tasty desserts around downtown Niagara Falls. Went there after lunch to grab some gelato. Grabbed the blackberry streusel gelato, it's was really tasty and large amount for cheap price. Overall, would definitely come back to grab some more gelato and pastries.

This cafe is AMAZING! Hubby and I found this cafe while at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute to see WNY's largest Gingerbread house, The Gingerbread Wonderland. Gingerbread Wonderland is not noteworthy, but this cafe surely is! We were so thankful to find it because we were pretty hungry when we got to the NFCI. It's a very small cafe with only 2 tables inside, but decent seating outside the cafe, while still inside the institute. We had a freshly made cheese bagel toasted with butter. It was yummy. Hubs had a vanilla latte and enjoyed it. As for pastries, we had a bunch of things! 1) Caramel apple cheesecake bar -We got a 2nd one before we left because it was that good! It's extremely smooth and soft but not too soft. The oat crumble on top added a nice crunchy element and the small chunks of apple were great too! It tastes like Christmas! 2) Macadamia Nut Caramel tart -So yummy! There are whole macadamia nuts inside the caramel which sits on top of the tart. The crust is perfect and the fudge on top is so yummy! 3) Bourbon pecan pie cupcake -Hubby couldn't try it because he has a tree nut allergy so I got this one all to myself. It was good but I don't care for chocolate cake cupcakes or chocolate cake. I prefer white or yellow. The pecan pie filing was good but it was at the verrryyy bottom and took awhile to get to it and there wasn't much. The topping was good with the pecan crumbles, but I wouldn't get it again. 4) Raspberry brioche -The filling was yummy, but we waited a little too long to eat it and the bread got a little hard. So consume right away! 5) White chocolate raspberry tart -I didn't care for this one, but hubs enjoyed it. For me, the frosting type of topping is too much, there's very little white chocolate taste and little to no raspberry taste. Def give this cafe a try and support the school and students by Dec 21st or you'll have to wait til Jan 21st when it reopens!

Usually closed on weekends but open Sat and Sun during Gingerbread Wonderland

It's usually not open on the weekends, but during the Gingerbread Wonderland (end of Nov-just before Christmas) both the café and Barnes and Noble are open. They had a way array of sweets available - flaky pastries, specialty cheesecakes, seasonal muffins and tarts, huge bagels, fancy frosted cupcakes, and large cookies. The pistachio éclair caught my eye! There was also a variety of gelato flavors to choose from - apple cider, brownie, raspberry cheesecake, hot cocoa, and more. They all looked like they had a smooth, creamy texture - no frost bite here! Although I didn't purchase anything since I was anticipating a big lunch, I would recommend checking this place out if you have a sweet tooth or are looking for a homemade ginormous, chewy bagel. I'm looking forward to coming back next year during the holidays. I'll be sure to have room for a sweet!

Cute little ship great prices not as much selection as the picture on yelp showed but all was very good. The coffee is really good amd the cookies were amazing. Will be stopping back here again.

    Chocolate decadence

Stopped in while waiting on our order from the deli figured we would pick up some dessert so we took it back to our hotel and I'm definitely glad we stopped in My wife had the brownie she said it was the best brownie she had ever had. I had the chocolate decadence. Which was a cake layer with mousse on top and then coated in chocolate. It was amazing to say the least.

    So many tasty options!

I've had them at other locations before but I had visitors visiting from Edmonton who were visiting Niagara Falls so we grabbed a dozen croissants to share. They had so many varieties it was hard to choose but my favorite ones that I usually go for include: -Truffle Crab -Salted Egg yolk -Raspberry Panna Cotta / Strawberry Purée Custard -Honey Citrus / Lemon Cream Glazed Service was a little slow and unorganized despite them being opened already for a few months. They said 6 croissants and no tax but one of the girls told us we can mix and match with the croffles but when we went to pay they said we couldn't. When we went to pay they were struggling so hard with the point system. I do however appreciate them trying to figure out how it worked. So eventually they said I can only collect points and not redeem which was fine. I went back a second time cause I was thirsty and ordered one of their drinks that they said was available but then the girl looked at the other girl and then looked back at me and said it's not available soooo. Because this location is located in the food court at Fallsview Casino, they also take Momentum Dollars.

So much more comfy than chairs. From walking in to the restaurant to service at our table, all the staff was welcoming and friendly. After we ordered we were asked if we wanted bread and brought three slices of DiCamillo Italian bread. One for each us and they told us to let them know if we wanted more. I really liked that they asked, so bread would not get wasted. I do wish, however, that it would have been served warm. We ordered beans and greens soup and two specials, Taste of Italy (chicken Parm, 3 ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo) and stuffed rigatoni, which both came with a choice of soup or salad. When the food came, there was an ample amount of sauce and it was nice & hot. The red sauce was good, not sweet, but not acidic either... A nice balance. The Alfredo was super creamy. My chicken parm was perfectly cooked... Thin coating perfectly crisp with tender chicken inside. The stuffed rigatoni were enjoyed by my dad... Sure enough, each rigatoni was individually stuffed and sealed on the ends as the name suggests. We all had the beans & greens soup and enjoyed it.

Food was amazing. We split the taste of Italy and gnocchi. We had enough food to take home. Service…read morewas wonderful. You get your order fast. Plenty of seating. Very homey
