I was nervous never having booked a DJ before or even holding a major party. But from the start, Rick communicated very well and I loved the energy he had. I was scared if we didn't have Rick that things wouldn't go smoothly since I was intimately, giving him of what we were looking for, but the people we got KILLED IT. I sent about seven hours worth of music for a very long wedding venue. And included wedding games and plans for family involvement. Everything I heard throughout the night was nothing but amazing feedback how the DJ played songs at just the right times he was announcing to get people involved and keep the party moving. We naturally have a very party oriented family, but they felt the energy was kept throughout the whole night and the songs that were chosen really fit with the flow of the night. They were very timely. Very organized checked in with us before we set everything in motion and followed exactly what we had discussed on the phone prior. I have never attended or planned a wedding so I relied on them a lot for the order of the reception and they completely nailed it...made it fun and made everything intimate even for people they had never met before. thank you guys so much for an amazing time. On my first consult call with Rick he asked me to switch my wedding date so that he could be the one that was DJing instead of sending someone else. It then later turned into him telling me that the order of my dances and speeches for the reception were wrong. He also told me that we did not need a mic for the ceremony even though it was recommended by the venue and coordinator and questioned it several times after. He made my day of coordinator cry because of how rude and disrespectful he was. During the day when he was talking with the professionals he met them with a raised voiced and pointed fingers. When confronted about his actions the day after, he took no accountability and completely misplaced the blame and threw it back on everyone else. The only reason why the dancing and reception were a hit was because I gave him the entire playlist, it was not his own work. So kudos to me. If you want a great playlist reach out to me, not him.
