I don't always agree with everything he wants me to do but he is open to discussion and the bottom line is he has your health as his main concern. But if you want straight answers and want to get and stay well - there is no better choice!

Dr Tajong recommend a laparoscopy, but first a colonoscopy. My husband received instructions indicating appt at 8:00 am, we got to Parkside Surgery Center in Conroe, TX. My husband once there my husband asked the time and he was informed 9:00 a.m. would be when he would have the procedure. My husband was called and wait and wait. The Facility only uses ONE room, in it was being used by another doctor. At 10:20 a.m. my husband asked when he would be done. "Well as soon the doctor finish the first pacien , but te doctor was not even in the building, and another doctor was using the ONLY ONE room of the Parkside Surgery Center. I went to the Dr's office tey "talk to the doctor" and told me the doctor was down stairs . I went back down stairs and they told me the doctor was not there. We left at 11:00 the Dr Tajong was still was not in the building. The office was full of patients. The patient before my husband was still waiting for his procedure.

We have heard only great things about him and my husband said after meeting him he is a very nice person and talks to you so you understand everything. So once I had to see him I immediately felt like I've known him for years. His staff is very friendly and it's like a 380 degree turnaround from the other doctor. We have heard horror stories after we stopped using him from other people who seen him and I'm so thankful we found a great caring doctor that is not rushing you in and out to just make money. If you don't mind waiting cause he's not rushing his patients out the door you will have a great doctor that has great values and his Oath to take care of his patients. He spends 3x longer "in the colon" than the average of 8 minutes. His nurse, Shawna, streamlined scheduling my procedure one year after seeing Dr. Xavier and waiting on the insurance company's approval. I cannot say enough about this practice & Dr. Xavier, in particular - Digestive Specialists in The Woodlands, TX. The Endoscopy Center at the same address delivers the same high quality and personalized patient care, & the nurses make getting a colonoscopy there more like visiting a health spa. If I could give one comment as to post surgery.... When a patient wakes up please be more mindful that they may not be fully awake when you might have to deliver devastating news. I was dealt and crushing blow and helped into the car. It was a lot. I did receive a follow up call the next day, but by then I had panicked 100 times over already.
