No reviews, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I called before I stopped by their brick and mortar location to find out the details. Their website was very clear, and everything they said on the phone matched what the website said. I dropped of my cassette tape on a Monday ( 1-three minute song), and received a call that it was ready on Friday. Overall I was happy with the quality of the work. I wish their pricing system was a little fairer - I paid the same amount for 1-three minute song, as someone who had 120 minutes on both sides of a tape. I was able to create truly special moments by bringing old videotapes, dvds, and CDs to Image Hive. I stopped by on a weekday with no appointment, and Steven sat down with me to go over what I had in a bag that I've been accumulating for years. I had everything from a 35-year-old tape of my grandparents anniversary party, to a 25-year-old tape of my own wedding, and many more dated pieces of media. He explained the process that they take to transfer those to a thumb drive, assured me that he would minimize my cost, and I felt completely confident in their ability to deliver. I have taken numerous old home movies on VHS cassette and 8mm tape to Image Hive. I got my precious videos back quickly on DVDs and also got a digital file of each on a thumb drive so I could edit the movies on a computer. (The digital files also allow you to zip through the boring parts of the videos, which seems to be about 95% after all these years.) There are other options available for such services, but frankly, I was scared to put my only copy of my videos in a box to mail off for digitizing.
