First like many couples married in the past year we had to plan it and/or reschedule it through a pandemic and everyone we spoke to over the phone at Park Ave were still so thoughtful and caring as the wedding and event based businesses were taking a hit. Ment alot to how cool and calm they were able to remain as me and my wife were freaking out. I now must mention Brian, who was our photographer the day of the wedding. Me and my brothers arrived to the venue for photos and he was straight to business because he knew timing was pressed and was dedicated to getting us as much photos as possible. In the suites he knew the layout of our venue so well and where to get the best shots. He had all my brothers laughing and smiling because of his great sense of humor. At the church he continued to make sure we took as many photos as we could and what ever photos us(bride and groom) wanted he was willing to take and would not move on till we got the ones we were looking for. Back at the venue when our families were all there he was great at making sure me and my wife got away for some private photos where once again he knew the venue and best places to go. His timing was great we finished posed photos with 15 minutes to spare before the cocktail hour started. We received a teaser gallery of photos about two weeks after the wedding, then our full album was ready about a month after our wedding. All the photos were downloadable right away so I could post to social media immediately which was a huge plus lol. Fast forward to 2025 - my daughter's senior photos - completely the opposite. First off, all the students had to wear the same "costume" - provided by the photo studio - for the girls it was some black wrap around pashmina type of garment. Would have been find if they also had the option to bring an outfit or two of their own choosing- after all parents are paying a VERY HIGH PRICE for these photos. The poses they had the kids do were pretty awful as well. Fast forward about 2 months when proofs finally come - to begin with they are entirely covered in their logo - having a few of their logo to protect their copyright is fine, but couldn't even see the kids faces, making picking photos for an extremely OVERPRICED package very difficult. The package I got cost me over $600 + an additional fee for retouching (i think $20)- this included only 4 8x10 images, 4 5x7s, and 10 wallets. I also ordered a set of digital images - I think it was 2 images with retouching for $200 plus tax - and trying to download the images from the third party app they use (took two weeks for the digital images to be ready btw) was very difficult to use - and I'm pretty tech savvy. Took another 2 months for the printed photos to arrive - and for the price I paid, I was extremely disappointed in the quality. I spoke to other parents within the district and two other districts who also contracted with JoArt for the 2025 pictures and they all expressed the same disappointment in the quality, package size and price of the photos. If your child's school is using JoArt for photos, I recommend you only allow their photo be taken for the yearbook (another disappointment- in the past students could choose their own yearbook photo, this year JoArt chose it for them) and go somewhere else for the photos you want printed - you'll save money and get better pictures that way.

With short notice we were welcomed to come in for my 2 sons First Holy Communion pictures. He suggested the beautiful outside landscape which I loved. He made the boys very comfortable and took a lot of poses. He sent the pics for processing immediately. Unfortunately the processing place miss cropped them and once I told Him not only did he see to it personally that they were correctly cropped but he personally delivered them to my house. I am so…read morehappy I went with her instead of one of the other more mentioned photographers (like the overpriced Jenerations!) I did a boudoir shoot for my fiance recently as a wedding gift. The moment I met Susan at her studio, I knew I wanted to book her. She has the most amazing personality. She is down to earth, friendly, and sweet. I loved her right off the bat - which is super important when you're about to be almost naked in front of someone! First off, the fact that she has a studio was super attractive to me. So many boudoir photographers have to either shoot you in your house, or you have to rent a hotel room. I live with my fiance, so I could not have a photographer traipsing through my apartment, and a nice hotel (nice enough to appear in pictures at least) can be expensive! Her studio is a large and beautiful place. She has vintage pieces of furniture, vanities, beds, sofas, different lights, and the most adorable changing area. In the changing area, she has some props, shoes, and outfits, if you need something extra. Throughout the shoot Susan is encouraging and directing you. She plays whatever kind of music you like, and she actually gets into the poses for you. She will do anything to get the perfect shot - there were times she was on the ground, on a ladder, she was like spider woman!! The shoot went amazing!!! I cannot state emphatically enough how fantastic she is. She actually left the studio while the make up artist she commissioned for me did my hair and make up, and brought back water and fruit. I had a marathon shoot, and she never complained and just continued to be cheerful and encouraging throughout the entire process. We reviewed my photos via internet and phone, and it was quick and simple. I had such a wonderful time that I can definitely see using her for family photography (in the not so distant future, lol!), and I'm recommending her to all of my friends. This was definitely my longest "good review", but definitely well deserved, use Susan for boudoir, family, and child photography. She is worth every cent :-)

She didn't rush us and made sure he was completely comfortable by adjusting the props over and over to ensure my son was comfy. She is great with kids and so is her assistant.
