Expect a long wait at the weekend and at lunchtimes as the store gets very busy. You'll probably also find that ealy mornings can be popular (presumeably with everyone thinking that they'll beat the rush). Waiting facilities are basically just a row of chairs - don't expect the salon treatment here. The salon is clean and brightly lit and is popular with all ages and both men and women (although to be fair it's predominantly women). Good sanitation procedures appear to be used. The cuts are acceptable but I find that you have to know what you want as this isn't really the right setting for a consultation! In terms of price Supercuts are very competative, especially given that Woking salons often think that they are in the WestEnd of London! Recommended for basic cuts.

They listen to what you ask for and will give you advice on the cut you want but they will cut it how you want. You can have a wet cut or dry cut for quickness. They have a good stock of hair products to buy. The staff are always sweeping so it looks clean and tidy. Great hairdressers.

Had a haircut there one August afternoon, because I was just handed a 50% off (for first-time…read morevisitors) down the street. Shampoo and cut on medium-length hair came down to £18!! And I can refer other first-time visitors so they can get 50% off as well. The staff are absolutely lovely, and offered me tea or coffee, or anything I fancied and were very remorseful of leaving me alone for a mere 20 min while I happily leafed through Vogue. Given I was a walk-in, I'd have easily accepted a longer wait! And that's all great but. I'm not too happy with my haircut :( I did tell the stylist that my hair does whatever it feels like, and that I do like it a bit spiky as opposed to having long flat strands and I have to admit she tried. The consultation was right and she didn't make any mistakes. But my damn hair just doesn't look nice enough. I've had better haircuts in tiny italian towns. (my best haircut, actually!) So I can't give it more than 3 stars given that they didn't provide me with a great haircut. It just made it into satisfactory. Overall I'd say it's worth going, but only if you have the 50% off through a friend. I'd have been deeply unhappy if I'd paid £40 for my current look.

The consultation was great, he listened when I said I avoided certain ingredients because they made my curls lank and flat. But then he ignored everything I'd said, didn't look at my hair dry to see my curl pattern, cut my hair when wet/straight, dried it terribly and coated it in the products I'd specifically said I didn't want. In theory I should go back and make them put my hair right, but it'll be a cold day in hell before they touch my hair again, so I'm going for a second hair cut with someone else, at add expense

Most barbers are good although the odd bad cut has resulted. It's a traditional establishment and not really somewhere to go if you want styling! If you're particularly small or just a big kid, you might even get a lollipop when you're done! A new ladies salon has opened above the barbers offering a no-appointment system. Pricing in both is reasonable for the area.

The salon appears to be family run by Sicilians (if I recall correctly). Staff attitude is a bit abrupt but when conversation starts to flow then it does with gusto. Bookings are taken for colours. No credit cards.

I went in with my boyfriend on a rainy Saturday loaded with shopping bags to get him a haircut…read more Someone was sprawled almost horizontally over the sofa (not sure if a customer or actually an employee!) so I approached a small chair next to him and asked the employee who was about to wash my boyfriend's hair if I could take a seat. He said in a rude manner that no I would have to wait outside as other customers might think I was waiting. My boyfriend and I promptly left and he lost a customer at any rate.
