I'd recommend going to RUSH if you want your hair ruining! I went there just after my birthday using the half price for first time customer as the original prices are extortionate for a high street chain. I went in and was moaned at for being early she kept dropping it in with everything she said to me, which wasn't very much as it was. Yes I was there 10 minutes early but with every other time I have been to a hairdressers it's expected so you can discuss with your hairdresser what you're wanting and what they plan to do. I then had the usual trainee washing my hair, it wasn't too bad as it was in a separate dim lit room as I really hate the blinding lighting normally. So the girl who's going to cut my hair comes back after leaving me sat for quite a while (I think it was my punishment for turning up early) and discusses with me what I like, to which I said I'd like it so I can still tie it back when I'm in a hurry rather than having to fully style my hair every day and I liked it long-ish stilll with short choppy layers. So off she starts with her scissors and then asks 'do you really need to tie your hair up for work?' which the answer was yes, (I had already said this hadn't I?) but oh no by the time she was done it was a one length faux bob style, not what I'd asked for at all so I paid and left upset feeling really ugly which as a 23 year old female a bad hairstyle really is heartbreaking. The next day I bought clip in hair extensions and now have to spend half an hour to forty five minutes getting myself ready every day. This girl had barely uttered anything conversational unless it was to insult me! she asked if my friend who is 5 months younger than me was my son on the basis that we both have curly hair, words failed me and ruined my hair which I now have to live with. So all in all I would recommend RUSH in Woking if you want your hair butchered by their 'trained' stylist jade, don't be fooled by their prices. read more

I've had my highlights done there by Emma. Wouldn't say I liked the colour she chose (I've already had blond highlights in the past so asked her to choose a similar colour) - it turned out to be too bleak, hardly noticeable. When the hair is wet, some of it now looks ginger the last colour I would like to see on my dark blond to brunette hair! She also made a cut on my shoulder-length hair it turned out to be not enough, I still see split ends and will soon have to go and have another cut to rectify it which is not ideal. She also cut my little one's hair and I wouldn't call it a success either: strands of the fringe look longer than other strands and they get into the girl's eyes precisely the reason I wanted her to have a hair cut in the 1st place: not to get hair in her eyes! I ended up cutting her fringe myself after that visit :-((( Probably the salon itself is not bad but I'll avoid booking with this stylist in the future. read more

i had my hair cut and coloured at rush in woking a few days ago and i still cant believe how great the whole experience was the stylist was good fun and cared about me and my hair and i was constantly asked if i was comfortable and if i needed another drink or magazines when i first arrived i had to wait a few minutes whilst the girl was finishing some one elses hair which was fine as i was offered a glass of wine, WOW! when have you ever had that. once the girl came over and we started chatting about what i wanted i knew she was confident and knew what she was doing. i was only going to have my hair cut but the hairdressers suggested some high lights to help lift up my colour which in all honesty was in need of doing and what a result im so glad i have found a salon that listens but also have a refreshing feel about it. great salon great staff great enviroment great service read more

4th time I've been there different hairdresser every time even though I tried to book with one who gave me a great haircut previously she never seems to be available prbably because she is very good (tall, slim with nose-ring). A previous stylist was ok but he STANK of B.O. & cigarettes which frankly made me feel nauseous. Girl I had today was very sweet (and young) but gave me a terrible haircut my hubby said it was 2/3 ok but one side is sloping up and the other sloping down! I think she realised it was bad when she held a mirror up to show me the back but held it so badly and very quickly I didn't get a good look it was only when home that I realised how rubbish it looks. Made me cry :( Now I have to try and get them to rectify it which is a mission in itself. Will not be going back and would not recommend. read more

I had my hair done in woking Rush (it was absoultley AMAZING!!) My stylist was Chigs hes so friendly and a very very good professional stylist. He knew exactly what i wanted and needed. I had a full head of highlights and a cut and blow dry my hair looks amazing everyone says to me how gorgeous my hair looks. i really love the colour and cut he recommened. I feel like a hair model now! The whole atmosphere was great in there everyone really friendly and helpful. THE best hairdressers ive ever been to, def going back to have my hair done! :D read more

I went into Rush in Covent Garden as I was giving a 50% off voucher for going the first time. The hair cut was ok, they seemed to straighten it within an inch of its life. They were nice enough but it was a bit Clicky rather than friendly. As it was much cheaper the experience was good but i wouldnt go again and pay full price, it wasnt that special. read more

Love this salon. Over the years I've had great advice on styles and colours and always been 100% happy when I've walked out the door. It's so convenient having late night and sunday appointments. Sophie does my hair and has been really brilliant and honest when helping me decide on any colour changes. I'd highly recommend this salon. read more
