I agree with the other person who left 1 star review. I had almost the exact same experience. This business is a monopoly piece for the owner. I notice negative labeling of the children's behavior instead of an attempt to show them how to act appropriately. They have one thing to teach at this age, social emotional skills. And this doesn't happen here. They would rather label children as a thief, bully, looser or popular instead of trying to teach all the children to get along and resolve conflicts. I removed my child from this school and although I gave them adequate notice they still tried to fine me. Still a year later my child is suffering from behavioral issues as they have been "trying on" what was done to them. Which could have been avoided if the staff was trained properly. When a staff member comes to me and reports the issue and tells me they don't know how to deal with it, maybe the owner should invest some of her money into training staff how to deal with these situations instead of opening a sandwich shop. They get grants for the parents to get free child care why can't they get grants to get their staff up to date on training? They are lucky I haven't taken them to court for what happened to my child there. read more

I had always been a stay at home mom, when my son turned 3, I began sending him to imagination station, he started from 8-12:30 in the green triangle class, he had so much fun. During drop offs he would cry (as most of our babies would) teacher Jessie & Teacher Ari would always console him just as I would. I felt no fear dropping him off for long periods of time and eventually he was attending pretty full time. The entire staff was so welcoming, exceeded all my expectations. If you're on the fence about sending your little one here while you work or even just half days so your child can gain school experience, I'd say you have nothing to be afraid of. They use an app called bright wheel & send you photos and videos pretty frequently. I loved seeing my son learning in the classroom setting. When I had questions I'd use the app to ask, or check on him and they responded very quickly. I can go on and on, about what an amazing experience we had with this school. read more

I cannot recommend this preschool/day care center. The owner and some of her staff seem to not treat all children and families equally. The perceived inequality of treatment appeared to me to be based on whether the owner and/or staff believe the family has status in the community. I was very concerned on several occasions to see staff members not responding to a crying child; repeatedly observed a male teacher yelling at the kids on the playground out front rather than taking the time to determine the source of perceived problems and talking to that child quietly and privately; an upset child laughed at and ignored by a staff member when they wanted to use art supplies older kids were allowed to use at a table shared with younger children, but were told, "You're too young." Our young child developed behavior problems after beginning to attend the Imagination Station, but lacked the verbal skills to tell us what was wrong. As our child's distress and our concern grew, we tried to drop in a few times unexpectedly, although this is not easy for working parents. I was shocked and upset to observe what appeared to be lack of compassion towards our child on several occasions. The owner said our child was too aggressive and was assaulting others, but we were troubled that these behaviors were not occurring anywhere but at Imagination Station. We took our child to Imagination Station with a belief that we had made the best choice for our child. There were several staff members who were excellent with children, but we became concerned as we noticed not all crying children were approached by a staff member promptly. Several times I entered the school when I was not expected and found our child upset, ignored, and not being comforted. It seemed to me over a period of time that the director and some of her staff play favorites and are not always empathic with each of the toddlers and small children entrusted to their care. The youngest children were often observed clustering in front of the safety gate at the door of their room rather than engaged and playing happily. Our child's negative behaviors disappeared when no longer attending Imagination Station, which was all the confirmation we needed to decide it was not the right school for our family. While there seem to be many local families who are happy with Imagination Station, if your child is not happy there, it may not be the right preschool or daycare for your child. I can't imagine anyone having anything bad to say about Saprina or this amazing preschool. My son has been there for a year and a half and loves it! They are kind and loving, and he learns new things all the time. I have been battling cancer for the past year and out of the goodness of her heart Saprina gave me a scholarship to reduce my fees. On top of all that she is involved with so many community events and collects clothing and other items for fire victims as well as for her less fortunate clients! She truly is an angel and I will forever be grateful! I don't know what i would do without this great lady and this awesome school. read more

My daughter loves going to school. She has thrived, grown, learned and made wonderful friends. The staff is caring, happy, communicative, and they run a good routine with lots of learning at every opportunity. The children follow instructions like lining up and washing hands before lunch and to learn how to participate in a classroom setting. The day is educational with lots of play and amazing arts and crafts projects. The facility is clean and well cared for by the owners and staff. The playground is fun and surrounded by garden and trees. I will be sad when my child grows out of the school! read more

I am very happy with the education my daughter received while attending Imagination Station. She learned things that now have her categorized as one of the top students in her kindergarten class. I was especially impressed with the communication and discussions between students and teachers. I loved the approach the teachers took in allowing children to make choices and determine what may be the right or wrong solution. My child learned life skills in addition to recognizing and sounding out letters, spelling and writing her name, counting and recognizing numbers 1-20, some Spanish and some biology. I'm looking forward to sending my youngest when the time comes! read more

I absolutely love this preschool. Not sure,what dude is talking about. My daughter learned to speak a lot of spanish, how to write, spell small words, and brought home great crafts weekly. Also the price is perfect. Within her first week there she was practicing writing everyday. I paid nearly 700 dollars a month at room to bloom with no writing practice, kids hitting and biting my daughter and they lost her items when i took my daughter out. Saprina(owner of imagination station) is a professional, she is kind and actually knows how to work properly with children. I HIGHLY recommend imagination station over all the others we tried and failed us miserably and charged us out the a$$. Great staff, great atmosphere, ALL professionals working there with appropriate credits and degrees. read more

Our family loves Imagination Station. Our oldest son started attending Imagination Station 2 1/2 days a week when he was 4 years old. We wanted to get him use to a more structured setting before he started kindergarten. After meeting with Saprina, getting a tour of the school and hanging out in the classroom for about an hour we knew it was exactly what he needed. He learned so much in the 8 months. It made the transition into Kindergarten a breeze. He had a few friends from Imagination Station in his kindergarten class which also helped. Our younger son started attending Imagination station when was 18 months. Since he had gone with me to drop off brother he was use to the very friendly staff and did not have a hard time going 2 1/2 days a week. He has transitioned through 3 of the 4 classes and we have loved every teacher and staff along the way. Our younger son has a very high energy level and they are able to keep him engaged and having fun the whole time he is there. He loves to tell me about circle time, play time, snack time and now he has started working on a letter of the week. I have no doubts that the transition into kindergarten will be smooth. With my husband being in law enforcement there are endless schedule changes, over time shifts and court that come up. With Imagination Stations drop in option and amazing staff we have never had to worry about the boys. Thank you Imagination Station for being there for our family.
