I understand that people have different experiences. What might be a great encounter for one person may be a totally different occurrence for the next person. But it surely does NOT mean that one person's logic is the thing that is affirmed (or denied) of the true logic by which this company's character, business professionalism and expertise was built on or how they conduct their business. Iman and Associates has done my taxes for over 10 years and about two years ago started doing my daughter's taxes (who I can no longer claim as a dependent) and who was pleasantly surprised about the service she received. I have nothing but positive reviews and high regards for this personable team of tax professionals. Certainly, I cannot speak for anyone else, however, for myself, there has never been a hint of a bad attitude, unprofessional behavior, lackadaisical mishandling, or any other negative vibe from this office or tax professionals at this business. I have always been greeted with the same "Happy to serve you" decorum from the front of the office to the back where it all goes down. Entering the waiting area, there is a variety of coffees, teas,hot chocolate, water and snacks...TV and magazines, if you care. Not many care to spoil their customers with treats, that I've seen in the past, but hey, I care about those little perks! It's quite a busy office, therefore if you call and are unable to reach someone right away, they are very good about calling you back. It's probably likely that if for some reason they are not able to work on a particular document efficiently or effectively, it's possible that they may refer out to a source that can help to provide for those specific needs...or simply let you know they are unable to assist with what you need to have done. That's being morally honest and shows integrity to their brand, but that's just my opinion. By the way, I am a real UNPAID customer. When you find something you like, you stick with it. read more

Sara seems to be very bitter because they turned her away. While I do understand it is inconvenient to have to find a different accountant it is still better that they were upfront in their abilities rather than doing it and doing it wrong. I do not know what being Muslim has to do with anything. Who cares if they are Muslim? Some people should really think before they speak. read more

I've been getting my taxes done here since 2008 when I moved to Georgia. I didn't like atmosphere in Georgia so I moved back up north. Anyway I live up north and STILL get my taxes done here. I've been working in Finance since 04 and I trust the team of associates. The owner lets me know when she has received my documents, gives me a turnaround and sticks with it. They are always professional and she explains everything. The major win here is that she takes the tax prep fee out of your return. I never owe because I claim zero but I've NEVER had to pay a dime since 08 out of pocket. Can't say that for the other tax scam artists down on GA. stellar service each year and I will continue to do business with them. read more

Please stay away from this business. This outfit was referred to me by a friend and so based on word of mouth, I used her to do my taxes one yr. The next yr, she advised me that she was not willing to do my taxes, she was simply too busy and told me she would 'take her time' because she believed my tax situation was just too difficult. A true tax person knows the ins and out and is willing to work with ppl regardless of their situation. After all it is your social security # on the line. Above all. a tax person needs to be organized and courteous given the nature of the business. There are plenty of ppl willing to do taxes yr in and out and I dont believe customers need to endure verbal abuse when you are paying someone for a service. This is very unfortunate but please keep all your documents, strap up your sneakers and run far away from this establishment. PS the business is run by a muslim family and so you would think based on the area that they would be nicer and more accomodating. Think again. read more

Violated My Confidentiality - This company has been doing my business taxes, my husband and my personal taxes for years. I have always insisted that this company was unprofessional. This year I instructed the owner to forward my taxes for the last five years to my attorney and provided her the email address. Instead of honoring my request, the owner sent the information to the wrong email address and seriously violated my confidentiality. When confronted, the owner informed me that she tried to reach me to get the email address again. When she did not reach me, she decided to forward the information elsewhere. Upon further questioning, the owner became angry and stated that she would send her letter of resignation as our CPA. To date, we have not received a letter. Bad News! Use someone else. read more
