The most you can leave messages with the representatives. On 9/4 I was told by my insurance company I do not owe any co pays after receiving my bill. Since then to date i have been calling every week. I kept asking to speak to a supervisor or mgr. I was told there is no one to connect me to. Last Wednesday I called again and spoke to Ruth. She said, she will escalate the matter again to Brian. She said he will call me back. To date, Brian has not call me back. I called this morning n spoke with Fran she said she will leave another message. This is all these people are telling you. No one in management to speak with u or the billing dept. I need my money back. That's all I want. It belongs to me. If I do not get a call from Brian or anyone in billing I will escalate this matter to the business bureau. This is what these medical billing office do. Once your money taken, it is hell to get your refund. This is robbery. Scamming patients of the $$$. I will never pay any medical office ever a copay. I will request a bill. I hope other people see this review and do the same. STOP paying copay at any medical office. It is a scam going on amongst them. This is not the only medical billing dept I am going thr this with. They are all the same. It is so sad what it comes down to. HOWEVER, I have had a handful of semi rude interactions by phone with the receptionists in recent months. I am very polite and professional so I am sure it was not me. Today was by far the worst, September 8, 2023. The clerk's name is MARIA. She was incredibly rude and raised her voice/tone at me for asking her to set my expectations on what to expect next. When I asked the reason her tone was raised she said, "because you don't understand me." For context, I have been waiting 9 days for my child's asthma inhaler refill to be ordered and all she kept telling me is that's not her job and that it was already done! She offered no actual resolution. Blamed my insurance company etc. And I still don't have the medication. Then she abruptly transferred me to the referral dept. voicemail box stating I can just leave them a message...and no one ever returned my call. Thoroughly disgusted by how I was handled. So I went to Best Care today and was immediately treated with respect and courtesy. Got in w/ barely a wait and was treated and on my way. The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating, especially for someone who doesn't have insurance. As you know, sometimes we are looked down upon or certain Dr.'s don't work with you on payment methods. They made sure there was a way for me to get seen and taken care of - you can tell they really care about what they do. The Doctor even gave me a LIST of what to do and not to do to get better instead of just reciting some 'do this don't do that blah blah blah' routine and sending me on my way. I will definitely be making this my new primary place for Doctor's visits. Whether minor emergency or general physical, I HIGHLY recommend them!

Woohoo! Welcome to the future. There are multiple iPads conveniently spread out around the waiting room. It was so easy, scanned my insurance card, license, and put me on the list to be seen without having to wait or fill out endless information on a clipboard. After waiting for maybe 15-20 minutes, I was called in. The woman asking questions was an absolute doll and made me feel so comfortable even though I was in pain. She said the doctor would be in soon and I would be taken for an X-ray. The doctor came in about 10 minutes later to introduce herself and let me know I would be taken down the hall shortly. So sweet and friendly. I was taken moments later and it was quick and professional and the technician made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The doctor then came in to bring me a boot, wrap my foot up, and wrote me a letter to excuse me from work if necessary. She was absolutely the sweetest and genuinely nice urgent care doctor I have ever interacted with. Dr. Stephanie gets 6 stars from me, even if she made me remove my FRESHLY painted pedicure to see how bad the bruising was. Waa. In conclusion, its so easy and nice to be nice. Smiling goes a long way. Especially in a setting where people are sick or in pain. A lot of places can learn a thing or two from CityMD.
