They do basic learning that gets them ready for kindergarten, ie. alphabet sounds, writing upper & lower case letters, writing first & last name correctly, naming shapes, etc. Class times are very short (2.5hrs) and 30min of it is bible. I do wish the classes were a little longer. No playground, but they take the kids on occasional field trips which requires a lot of parents participating. We were so pleased to see our Son in Law Jay and his family, his Mother was there as well as his sister too. Our grandsons came along too and we truly had a meaningful experience. The church was beautiful and warmly welcoming, and services held by the Monsignor was a truly enjoyable and enriching experience for both my wife and I. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the parishioners friendliness towards us and so many smiling faces seemed to say. "We're so happy to have you here today"we both felt very appreciated and welcome too. While we were there, they were holding a bake sale after Mass, that was very connected to a charity important to the community. They're also a promoter for the "Knights Of Columbus" and Father will be quite happy to connect you with this local chapter if you're looking for them also. I certainly recommend this congregation to anyone of the Catholic faith as a truly welcoming place to share the Sabbath services with.
