As a former National Family Childcare Provider of the Year, I bring decades of experience, ongoing higher education, and a commitment to best practices in early childhood education. I design spaces that encourage nature exploration, child‑led discovery, and meaningful relationships. My approach supports the whole child socially, emotionally, academically, and physically while also honoring the joy and wonder that make early learning so powerful. Families consistently share that their children feel at home here, and many graduates return to visit or volunteer as they grow older. These lasting connections reflect the care, trust, and community that truly define my work.

Compared to our previous daycare the care providers regularly post to the App with status updates and photos. The frequency of photos can sometimes be distracting at work, but always enjoy when they are posted. Also the modern safe guards (cameras, keycard access, digital/physical sign in sheets) at the facility are reassuring. In the time my infant has been at TLE she has almost switched over to solid food and started walking. Every day when I drop off/pick up my daughter she looks extremely happy and conflicted if she wants to stay with the teachers or come home. All the teachers in the infant class are great communicators and respect any requests I have. My toddler is very vocal about his experience at TLE, and can't stop telling me about all the cool stuff he does. At his old daycare my son would be clingy and a little resistant to me leaving, but at TLE he can't wait to enter the playrooms. Every night when driving home, he tells me about the animal mascots, the toys he played with, what he ate, and the usual indistinguishable toddler babble. I can't really think of a single negative about enrolling my children at TLE. The opening of this facility is something that northern Loveland desperately needed. I am glad I was able to enroll my child, but based on my experience I have no doubt they will fill up fast.

My son wasn't speaking much before attending (19 mos), and within 1 month started adopting new vocabulary and doing some sign language. Now, 4 months later, he's improved tremendously in the areas of following directions, cleaning up himself, and speaking. He's also a lot less frustrated now! Clean; really motivated and enthusiastic staff; and the kindest owner you will ever meet! Oh, and there's an indoor playground, which is so helpful during the winter months!

Our child was just kicked out of preschool last Friday with ZERO notice. I went into TLE Fort…read moreCollins to discuss a behavior plan after a rough day of not napping and acting out. I asked them if they were bringing any solutions to the table, to which they said they would just watch and record their behavior. I gave them an entire list of things that work at home. Such as, addressing them with a calm tone, redirecting, giving them jobs, etc. They responded with "we can't do those because it doesn't fit our way we do things". I left with nothing accomplished and got an email 5 minutes later saying they were terminating care for my child, immediately. I'm so frustrated and sad that they didn't even want to try with them and it feels like they're saying they are more trouble than they're worth. I'm devastated that they didn't get to say goodbye to any teachers or friends and are now being completely uprooted, which might make behaviors worse. What do I tell my child when they ask why we can't go back? I still don't understand why on earth the school decide to terminate IMMEDIATELY on a Friday evening when schools are closed on the weekend. I feel like that is the ultimate show of disrespect to us. No wonder they have been on probation by the state. My child loved 3 of their teachers like family and I'm so crushed right now. They've been asking why they can't come back to see their friends and it is absolutely gut wrenching. I gave them many solutions and they ultimately told me they couldn't do their job properly. So, if your child has sensory issues and needs a little extra love, I would not recommend TLE. I just wish they would have just given them another shot and tried some of our solutions.

I'll start by saying, I believe in a mother's intuition, so if you feel that you'd like to give The…read moreGoddard School a chance, I say that you just need to be in tune with what is happening around you, don't simply trust The Goddard School just because they are well known or others have had a good experience. It only took me a day and a half to realize the standards of The Goddard school were not up to par. Terry Ann was condescending, rude and un-empathetic. Her staff simply did a poor job in taking care of our 3-month-old daughter. She came home with something black and sticky all over her neck, the same outfit she's gone to school in, despite it being drenched in slobber and her having 4 bibs and 3 changes of clothes in her cubby, a diaper rash, for the first time in her life due to poop and diaper cream still remaining from being changed at 10:30, when the last diaper cream was applied and 2 pm when the last BM was recorded, it was now 4 pm. Not to mention, when I asked the afternoon care provider how her day went, she only responded by saying our daughter hadn't slept much, she had nothing else to offer about her day. I get that I'm a first-time mom whose emotions were most definitely escalated but after all of that I would expect someone who owned a daycare to have more than just empathy. Unfortunately, the next day when I came in, Terry Ann had coached her staff to be over the top and nice to me, at which point made me feel even worse because it was clearly fake. When I met with Terry Ann, she boastfully asked how everything was when I dropped her off, to which I responded, "obviously better since they've been spoken with but that doesn't make me feel more secure about the level of care she will be receiving, you shouldn't have to coach people to try.", Terry Ann's response is what sealed the deal, "Would you like us to stop trying?" she said, are you kidding me? That is what the owner of a prestigious daycare decided would be an appropriate way to respond to a first-time mother of a 3-month-old baby, who has to go to work. Needless to say, as most mothers would be, I was distraught and came to pick up our daughter by 10:30 that morning. When I arrived, Terry Ann didn't even come out of her office to talk to me, she simply let the other woman in the office know that she would be giving me a full refund. To be clear, I didn't ask for a refund, I asked to cancel. If that isn't an admission of guilt, I don't know what is. To be fair, the only redeeming quality about The Goddard School that I found is Allison, the assistant director.

For the sake of transparency, my disclaimer is that I am writing this because I read a negative review and wanted to share my opinion (which isn't based on a single day's experience, but over 8 years with 3 different children and more than 8 classrooms and teachers). When we first brought our older kiddos to Goddard we were nervous about them being under someone else's care, but we realized quickly we had found the perfect place for them. The teachers have always been so sweet and caring, able to teach our kids from awesome curriculum while still maintaining a very personal connection with them. Every single day we get a report about what the kids learned and experienced, even including an action photo of them. Every day! The people who run the school behind the scenes are great. Terry Ann, Allison, and Melanie have always been wonderful to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure any of our questions or concerns are addressed immediately, and I have never felt like we are just a number to them. They have always seemed to operate in the mindset that their families could have chosen any preschool option in the area, so they make sure to let us know we are appreciated and our kids are valued. We are grateful for the impact the Goddard School in Fort Collins has had on our family, I'd give them 10 stars if that was an option.

Bright Horizons - Loveland, CO | A Truly Exceptional Childcare Experience…read more We cannot say enough great things about Bright Horizons in Loveland. This place has been a complete game changer for our family, and making the switch was truly the best decision we could have made for our son. We came from a very difficult and disappointing experience at Kiddie Academy in Windsor. While it looked great on paper, it turned out to be the wrong fit for our child in every way. From day one at Bright Horizons, the difference was undeniable--our son started thriving immediately. His speech exploded, his confidence grew, and for the first time, he started making real friendships. It was everything we hoped for and more. Most importantly, our son felt safe, seen and heard. The staff at Bright Horizons has been nothing short of a blessing. They are educated, patient, nurturing, and deeply committed to supporting children with all kinds of needs. The level of care, empathy, and professionalism is unmatched. His teacher is truly an angel--compassionate, experienced, and so tuned into his needs The ancillary staff who also work in the classrooms and alongside our son are exceptional--trained, truly kind, and incredibly patient The director, Kelly Polite, is warm, approachable, and incredibly professional The assistant director, Jodie Nye, is wonderful--truly kind, responsive, and supportive The entire team is well-trained, continues their ongoing education, and works on the child's level with genuine connection One of the most refreshing things about Bright Horizons is how they treat parents as partners, not as burdens. Communication is strong, open, and respectful. They involve parents every step of the way, making you feel reassured, supported, and heard--something we didn't experience elsewhere. The facility itself is fantastic: * ‍ Huge indoor gymnasium for active play, especially in bad weather * Multiple outdoor playgrounds * A bike area that kids absolutely love * A full-service kitchen providing fresh, nutritious meals * A brand-new infant room with thoughtful layout and care * A fun, engaging curriculum that fosters both play and learning * Regular events to welcome families and build community * Welcoming of outside therapists and additional supports * Ongoing teacher development and access to outside resources for staff The entire environment is clean, safe, well-organized, and full of joy. It's clear that this isn't just a daycare--it's a place that values growth, development, and the whole child, and one that puts family relationships at the heart of its mission. They currently have openings, and many employers--including those in healthcare and corporate sectors--offer Bright Horizons childcare discounts, so be sure to check with your HR department! Yes, no childcare facility, parent, or child is perfect. But finding the right fit where your child is safe, loved, and encouraged to grow is everything--and Bright Horizons has absolutely been that for us. We've looked into over 40 childcare centers across Northern Colorado, and this one stands out by far. It's truly one of a kind. There are also two additional Bright Horizons locations in Fort Collin that are wonderful. If you're even thinking about a new childcare option, book a tour. Meet the director. Talk to the teachers. Ask questions. Share your concerns. If you're feeling unsure or struggling at another center, it can't hurt to take a look--and it just might change everything for your child like it did for ours. We are so proud and grateful to be part of the Bright Horizons family.
